Q1. What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like?

I liked the product, thought the scent and texture were lovely, but i feel it's a bit over-priced

Q2. How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply?

I found it very easy to use the product, and tended just to use one pump per application, which seemed plenty

Q3. Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way?

I haven't noticed any particular difference. I got some spots to begin with, but my skin gradually got used to it. Then a had a break of a few days and got the spots again. Although my skin is soft and feel nice.

Q4. In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum?

I haven't noticed any difference in lines/wrinkles

Q5. How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not?

My skin is smoother, but i haven't noticed any difference in firmness

Q6. If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments?

Sadly, no-one has made any nice comments!

Q7. Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not?

I would be tempted, but the price puts me off. As I mentioned, I got spots to start with (I've noticed this with other origins products like make a difference) but they calmed down, so I think it would be a long term investment of always using it.

Q8. The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not?

I think it's a bit overpriced, although it's definitely more of a luxury product than Boots Protect and Perfect.

Q9. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not?

I'd be more tempted to recommend my usual Origins products which i think are amazing... I'm less impressed by Plantscription. On the other hand I think Night-a-mins, Have a nice day, Ginger souffle, modern friction and never a dull moment are the best money can buy Grin

Q1 I did like it, nice fresh smell, light non greasy feel and easy use pump. The colour of the pump and the product were a bit odd, dated maybe not as clean feeling as the product itself.
Q2 there were no application instruction so I went with 1 pump each application. It was easy and satisfying to use especially as I tend to be in a rush.
Q3 I think it feels a bit firmer, my biggest problem is dark circles under the eyes rather than wrinkles so far. It didn't make any difference to those but I do have a wakeful toddler.
Q4 as I said above haven't really noticed a difference here.
Q5 yes probably a bit firmer, I can't decide but probably at bit smoother too.
Q6 no nice comments but I'm enjoying it.
Q7 probably won't go on using it due to cost but might go on a Christmas list.
Q8 does seem expensive but I always find these things seem pricey.
Q 9 I would only recommend if I was specifically asked.

Just wanted to add another comment....

Since my last post [5 days ago] I have noticed that my skin looks much better than when I first starting using this product.

It looks fresher and smoother. The wrinkles I have around my eyes and the horizontal one on my forehead looks much softer and less noticeable, even in bright light.

I think my jawline also looks a little firmer.

The biggy though is that my usually non-observant DH said to me that he thinks I look younger and asked if I had lost weight [I haven't!].

I think I can see what he means as I just look fresher somehow.

I will now have to try and save the pennies for another bottle of this stuff!

Q1. What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like?
I liked the pump dispenser and packaging design. It smells nice and fresh, not overpowering and the consistency is nice, not too greasy.

Q2. How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply?
Easy to apply and smooth into the skin. I used around 3 pumps per application which I worked out after a couple of tries - I think the pump dispenser makes this easier.

Q3. Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way?
My skin feels smoother and softer and I seem to have less spots than normal which is a bonus!!

Q4. In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum?
I don't have many lines thankfully so not really noticed a difference.

Q5. How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not?
I definitely think it is smoother.

Q6. If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments?
No comments I'm afraid :o(

Q7. Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not?
Sadly the price is just too high for me to justify on a regular basis.

Q8. The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not?
It is expensive and more than I could afford/want to spend on a product to use on a daily basis. It would have to be a treat/birthday gift purchase.

Q9. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend it to friends I know who could afford it!!

Q1. What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like?
I like it. I liked the smell which was not too overpowering, the packaging was fine, the dispenser made it easy to know how much to use. I most liked the results!

Q2. How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply?
Extremely easy to apply, it absorbed quickly and didn't leave any residue. I used 2 pumps per application, this was plenty, to be honest if I had paid for it I probably would have used less to make it last longer.

Q3. Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way?
My skin feels a lot smoother and is generally more evenly toned. I have gone without my usual tinted moisturiser a few times as I felt like I didn't need it. This never happens usually!

Q4. In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum?
I only have a few fine lines and I can't say I have noticed any difference.

Q5. How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not?
My skin is definitely smoother, I've not had this effect with any other product.

Q6. If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments?
Everyone keeps telling me I look well. I assumed this was because I have a newborn and people are just being polite, however people have also commented that my skin in particular looks better. A lot clearer and brighter.

Q7. Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not?
I would love to but unfortuntely it's out of my price range. I would look at spending my Boots points on it though.

Q8. The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not?
I do think it works so I suppose you get what you pay for, however it's very expensive, if it was £30 I would repurchase without a second thought.

Q9. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would recommend it (to my rich friends!) it has made a marked improvement to my skin.

I would just like to say a big thank you for letting me in on this trial. My sample arrived on the day I got home from hospital with DS2. It has made me ensure I spend 5 mins a day on myself which is a lovely little luxury with two under two!

Q1. What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like?

Overall, I like it. Nice smell (classic origins smell). Not sure about the colour though, it did remind me slightly of a sinus infection, perhaps a bit lighter would be good

Q2. How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply?

Very nice to apply, I used 3 pumps per time, 2 was not enough for whole face. Absorbed easily and didn't give me spots like new things often do.

Q3. Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way?

Honestly, I think it does look better, but I'm not sure how to define it. The colour tone seem better, and smoother. I'm quite surprised as was not really expecting a difference.

Q4. In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum?

Lines on forehead are not really any different, but the lines around my mouth from when I used to smoke do seem softer and less noticeable, even in harsh light.

Q5. How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not?
Can't really say there's a difference

Q6. If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments?
Sadly not. I have a very unobservant husband though.

Q7. Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not?

I'm not sure yet, might see if skin seems to get worse when I stop using it. I am tempted though, it is just the price putting me off slightly.

Q8. The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not?

It does seem expensive as it has only really lasted a month.
I also have a slight beef about serums, as I don't understand why you wouldn't just put the ingredients in moisturiser - a serum which then has to be followed by a moisturiser seems to be a product for the sake of it. So serums on the whole are not good value to me.

Q9. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not?

Yes, if someone was after a serum I would recommend it.

Q1. What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like?

Overall, I liked the product. I really liked the packaging and I liked how it made my skin feel. Not so keen on the price when I looked it up!

Q2. How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply?

I found it very easy to apply - I liked the pump dispenser. I used between 2/3 pumps per application. It was pretty easy to know how much to apply.

Q3. Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way?

There was definitely an instant smoothing effect when I applied the product which I really liked. My skin felt really soft and that was really noticeable to me. I still used my regular moisturiser, but I didn't feel it had to be put on immediately. Whereas, with my usual serum/moisturiser combo my face feels dry if I don't put moisturiser on straight away after applying serum.

Q4. In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum?

I'm not sure to be honest. As mentioned in Q3, it definitely seemed to smooth my skin and if feels better. I'm not convinced it's made a long-lasting impact on my fine lines though.

Q5. How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not?

Definitely feels smoother. Haven't noticed a difference in firmness.

Q6. If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments?

No-one has made any unprompted comments, but I mentioned to a colleague that I was testing it and they thought my skin did look better.

Q7. Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not?

I would like to continue using it but the price puts me off.

Q8. The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not?

It's not ridiculously expensive for a premium skin care product, but it is still pricey. To use it regularly night and day would be expensive and I don't think I could justify it. Back in my youthful single days I wouldn't think twice about spending that amount on a product, but now other family priorities get in the way!

Q9. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not?

Yes, because I did think it made a difference to how my skin looked with regular use. I'd point out the price though!

Q1. What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like?
I really liked the pump dispenser, very hygeinic. The serum itself felt light and did not irritate my skin.

Q2. How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply?
I found it very easy to apply, I used 2 pumps as recommended, but one and a half pumps are probably sufficient. It spread nicely and did not drag.

Q3. Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way?
It definitely looked more even and smooth. But now I feel that it is making my skin a bit dry.

Q4. In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum?
I did not find any difference in the fine lines/ wrinkles.

Q5. How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not?
My skin feels smoother, but drier.

Q6. If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments?
No one has noticed or commented, sadly.

Q7. Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not?
Probably not, as i feel it is quite expensive.

Q8. The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not?
I think it is a bit expensive for what it is, so not good value for money. abot £25 would be more appropriate.

Q9. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not?
I dont think so, as it has not made a huge difference in terms of fine lines/wrinkles as it claims.

Q1. What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like?
The packaging is great. I love that it isn't glass (I'm always dropping stuff in the bathroom). The product itself applies very smoothly, and is easily absorbed. Very pleasant & not overly perfumed (BIG plus).

Q2. How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply?
Extremely easy to apply - the container measures it out for you. I found 2 pumps to be ample. It is absorbed into the skin very easily, and is light and not sticky or greasy. Perfect in that respect & a pleasure to apply morning and evening.

Q3. Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way?
I would say it is a little brighter & smoother.

Q4. In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum?
I didn't notice much difference - I would say that my skin overall looked better so I guess my wrinkles look better.

Q5. How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not?
It's really hard to say - but I do think my skin overall has been looking better since I have been using it (about a month), so I guess the product has made a difference.

Q6. If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments?
No comments. I did have a comment that a recent photo knocked 20 years off me but I don't think that was ALL down to the serum Grin.

Q7. Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not?
I'm not sure. I do essentially like the product. But I am a little confused as to if I still use a night cream on top. I would really prefer just to use one product especially in the evenings. (I've been using the serum on its own at night). The price would be the main reason why I wouldn't continue. £46 every couple of months just for serum is a huge investment.

Q8. The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not?
I think it's pricey, however the product is lovely. But to be good value for ££ I would want to pay less.

Q9. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not?
I like Origins products. But they aren't selling miracles. If a friend could afford it I would suggest they give it a try, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it. Perhaps it might be good for people with sensitive skin & I might recommend it then.

Q1. What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like?

It smells lovely and goes on really easily. I like the pump dispenser.

Q2. How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply?

Easy to apply. I used 2-3 pumps each time. I started with single pumps until I knew how much I would need.

Q3. Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way?

It's smoother and firmer. My dry stressy flaky patch has gone. I think it's quite glowy. People have said I look well.

Q4. In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum?

I don't have many lines and wrinkles but my skin just looks better.

Q5. How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not?

Much smoother. The flaky patch has gone.

Q6. If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments?

Yes, people have said I look well.

Q7. Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not?

It's quite expensive but if I can persuade someone to buy me it as a present then I will definitely keep using it.

Q8. The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not?

I think it is over-priced, outside my everyday budget.

Q9. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not?

I'd recommend it because it was good for my skin, and then they could make their own mind up about the price.

I wanted to add a comment to my original one.

In the last week I think I can see that my skin is improving from where it was at time of last comment [5 days ago].

It seems smoother and firmer. Also the one major wrinkle I have horizontally across my forehead seems less deep and less noticeable.

So will keep using the serum and see if skins keeps improving!

Thanks for letting me trial it!

Q1 - What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like?

It is a lovely soft serum, glides on and has a lovely consistency and absorbs quickly.

Q2. How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply?

I used 3-4 pumps and I was using on neck area too. My skin is parched so I tended to use a lot.

Q3. Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way?

I think being dedicated to using it everyday made a difference as I would say that use of serums was a bit adhoc before as I normally forget and had run out of my normal ones (which are too expensive for me to replace atm)

Q4. In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum?

My skin feels fuller but lines have not disappeared :(

Q5. How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not?

No feels plumper but not more firm.

Q6. If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments?

I have noticed a difference, no one else has. I am constantly knackered from looking after DD and not sleeping well, so I don't think anyone is paying me those sort of compliments at the moment sadly.

Q7. Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not?

I will continue to use the bottle and may purchase more if I had spare cash.

Q8. The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not?

I was talked into buying Elemis pro-collagen capsules which were great and they were £60 so cheaper than that. Although teh benchmark imo is the boots cream which I think is only £20ish, so it is quite pricey.

Q9. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not?

Yes I'd recommend it, but overall I think you mainly have to be dedicated to a skincare regime and not forget about it with teh daily drones of being a mum.

Q1. What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like?
I loved it. It was easy to apply, smelled delicious and was a perfect base for my makeup. Aside from the price of a new tube, what's not to like?

Q2. How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply?
I found it really easy to apply. I used 2 pumps which seemed to be plenty. It smoothed over my skin incredibly easily without dragging and sank in without leaving any residue.

Q3. Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way?
My skin feels a lot softer and smoother. It seems to look a little more youthful too (or perhaps DS is sleeping better).

Q4. In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum?
My wrinkles and fine lines certainly haven't got any worse, and I think they may even look slightly better. I was never too crumpled of face, but I'm starting to look less like my mum and more like me.

Q5. How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not?
My skin feels much, much softer and smoother

Q6. If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments?
Nobody has made any positive comments, but then again, nobody has told me I look terrible recently, and i mix with some honest people!

Q7. Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not?
If money was no object, mod definitely. I may put it on my Christmas list and hope that someone treats me to some. As a SAHM, I don't have spare cash to splash on treats for myself.

Q8. The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not?
It's definitely the nicest skincare product I have used, but I couldn't justify spending that amount of obey on myself regularly - sorry.

Q9. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not?
If I had a friend with lots of cash who was looking for a new moisturiser, I would definitely recommend it - my skin feels so lovely and it is a product that is such a pleasure to use. I think the price would put me off recommending it to most people though.

Thank you for letting me test this product.

What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like?

Overall I thought the product was a good size, and good consistency. I liked the smell of the product very much. Undecided about the colour of the packaging.

How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply?

Found it easy to apply. Although 2-3 pumps were advised, I found using one was sufficient. Found I had to wait a while for it to dry before I could apply my moisturiser though, would prefer to put on after moisturiser - but don't know if that would hinder the product?

Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way?

I think I can see a difference around my eyes, the skin felt firmer, and felt nice too.

In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum?

I (would like to think) don't have any wrinkles, but I was getting concerned about lines around my eyes - I think that area looks firmer.

How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not?

see above

If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments?

No one else has noticed, but I think I can see a difference.

Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not?

No, can't afford it

The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not?

I'm not sure how much these serums usually retail at, but I think it seems like a very large sum of money. However, I would assume one tube would last a while so in that respect it may work out good value.

If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend it as a product but I think the price may be a little steep for most people.

Q1. What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like?

  • Overall I liked using it :)
  • Liked the smell, the feel of it on my skin, the packaging, the name.
  • Not overly keen on the colour but didn't put me off.

Q2. How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply?
  • I used 3 (2 wasn't enough) pumps
  • Found it very easy to apply
  • No, tried 2 pumps first day and realised that wasn't enough, so went onto 3 pumps.

Q3. Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way?
  • It does feel better moisturised overall but haven't noticed any decrease in wrinkles although I'm not sure how drastic a change in that direction would have to be in order for me to sit up and take note!

Q4. In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum?
  • I haven't noticed a change but see above.

Q5. How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not?
  • Skin does feel a bit firmer and smoother.

Q6. If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments?
  • No, annoyingly not!

Q7. Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not?
  • I'm not sure. If I'm honest (and I think this goes for a lot of people) a product would have to have had lots of amazing publicity for me to specifically go out and buy it at that price level. I'm a sucker for buying things that 'everyone' seems to be buzzing about, so it might depend on that - whether I'd had it recommended to me. At that price level there are quite a few similar products so it would be a tough call for me to say that THIS is the one I'd go for.

Q8. The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not?
  • In theory it seems a lot for something that is plant based - my instinct tells me that I'd be prepared to pay more money for something that sounds science-y (I know this is ludicrous and that I am a sucker for it) and as though it had a high-tech ingredient that was going to work wonders on my skin.

Q9. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not?
  • Yes I would, but I wouldn't be urging people to use it - if they were already a fan of Origins or plant-based products I think I would be inclined to mention it, but I don't think it feels so extraordinary that I'd mention it other than that.

Actually - I have something to add. I went away this weekend and forgot to take my serum with me. After a couple of days my skin was noticeably drier and greyer - this may be enough to prompt me to buy it again (I said above that I thought I probably wouldn't).

Sorry for any bad grammar, spelling and the really short answers. I am typing on a tiny phone screen and had already written my post 3 times before and they all dissapeared. I gave up with the long, detailed feedback and typed as fast as I could just to get it posted.

Q1. I liked the packaging, the pump bottle, the smell was really nice and I actually really liked the colour. The consistency was good as well.

Q2. Really easy to apply. I used 2/3 pumps in the morning and 3/4 in the evening.

Q3. Unfortunately no difference.

Q4. No wrinkles (yet!) but I have a deep frown line on my forehead. It's still there ):

Q5. No difference.

Q6. No difference. No compliments ):

Q7. I will use it until the bottle is finished. It didn't improve my skin, but it didn't make it worse either. I don't think I would not buy that particular product again though.

Q8. £46 is really too expensive for me tbh. My usual moisturisers cost no more than a fiver. I felt like a queen when using the serum!!

Q9. I honestly don't know if I would recommend it..

Thank you mumsnet and origins for letting me try this product. I'm sorry if the feedback seems a little negative. I really wanted the product to work for me. I have tried skin products for mumsnet before and the same thing happened.. No visible differences.. Me and posh face creams are probably best avoiding each other!

Q1. I liked the packaging and the design of the bottle very much. It shouldn't matter, but packaging does affect the way I see a product and this looked and felt 10/10 for me.
The product itself was lovely. It smelt delightful and did not make my skin itch or tingle.
Nothing I disliked - perhaps price is a bit steep.

Q2. Easy to apply. I used 2 pumps per application.

Q3. I think some of the finest lines around my eyes and mouth are not so noticeable.

Q4. As above, I think the very finest lines have certainly been reduced. I noticed the biggest difference after about 10 days of using it. My sister said she agreed that the skin around my eyes looked better. She is going to buy some!

Q5. Smoothness wise, I think it has improved. Firmness has not got any better I don't think.

Q6. My sister commented but only after she had seen the product in my bathroom and asked if it was any good.

Q7. I am certainly going to finish the whole bottle. I thought it would all be gone by now, so it has lasted well.
I am not sure if I will buy it but I doubt my budget can stretch to it.

Q8.
It has a lot of nice ingredients in it, so I suppose it's quite good. Am not sure how it compares with other serums as I have never tried a serum before.

Q9.
Yes, I would recommend Origins Plantscription to others because i really liked the smell, the consistency and felt I was putting something nourishing on my face.
Thanks for letting my try it.

Q1. What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like? I liked everything about this product. The packaging is appropriate - no shiny white 'lab' appearance, the labelling was clear, the product felt and smelt lovely and has made a visible difference to my skin. There isn't much I can do about my genetics, I have lines just where my mother and grandmother did but my skin is softer, smoother, the tone has improved and I do not have any sensitive patches on my red cheeks

Q2. How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply? I used three pumps which was perfect for my whole face and neck, the bottle is easy to handle, the pump works well (some designs you struggle with as the spring is too strong, or the next doesn't quite fit..)

Q3. Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way? See Q1, it is better in almost every way, tone colour, texture. The moisturisation is even too, no big shiny nose and forehead slicks of grease!

Q4. In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum? The wrinkles I have are lessened, as I mentioned in Q1 the lines are going to be there whether I like them or not but this serum has made difference especially around my eyes and mouth

Q5. How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not? yes, skin condition is significantly improved, I always cleanse and moisturise twice a day but this serum has made a marked improvement in the overall feel of my skin

Q6. If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments? My husband has been paying attention as i have been taking a few pictures over the month, he usually laughs at the range of potions and lotions on the shelf but for the whole month I have only used two - the serum and a sunscreen which has amazed him.

Q7. Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not? Yes I will go and buy some more when the sample runs out, I really like it and the results have been extremely good

Q8. The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not? It is quite expensive but I am 40 now and I guess it is time for me to start investing a little more in my face. The results have been very good and I have recommended this to my friends

Q9. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not? yes, see Q8, we are all of around the same age, we all hate the march of time across our faces and want to do something about it!

Only just found this thread!

Q1. What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like?

It's lovely to use, it soaks in beautifully. Nothing to dislike.

Q2. How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply?

Very easy. I followed the instructions and used 2 pumps. That seemed right for my skin. I tried 3 which seemed to take longer to sink in.

Q3. Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way?

My skin looks clearer. I got a few bumps under the skin around the bottom of my cheeks and chin at first, but perserved. This has happened with a few products over the years and I've always stopped using them when this happened. I carried on with this one as I knew how expensive it was and wanted it to suit my skin!!

Q4. In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum?

Hard to know. Although I have a wrinkled forehead and loads of wrinkles around my eyes I can't say I've ever measured them Grin. I think they look better. But again, this might be because I want them to look better because I'm using something to lessen them.

Q5. How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not?

I think yes to this one. I can see a bit of a difference.

Q6. If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments?

No!! But I'm not blessed with a group of friends or family who are likely to make those sorts of comments anyway. And I've just had a week in the sun so if I look well they would assume it's that!

Q7. Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not?

I'd love to. Finances are tight so I'm waiting to see how long this one lasts to see if it justifies the cost. I'm very wary of using new products on my skin (hence why I've stopped using things in the past if something changes like bumps or spots) but now I know this suits my skin I'd like to carry on. Also I think I've reached an age where my skin needs all the help it can get and that I should be using something in addition to moisturiser. I'd also like to try some of their other products now too.

Q8. The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not?

I'm not sure. As above, firstly I'm waiting to see if it lasts. Secondly, I haven't looked before at serums and know nothing about how much they cost so I can't say if it compares well, in terms of cost, to other brands.

Q9. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I would. I'm wondering if I should have been using something like this 10 years ago so I wouldn't look so lined now! I would recommend it because it's lovely to apply and I can see an improvement in the appearance of my skin.

Feel very honoured to have been chosen to be part of this, a moment of light in a tough life at the moment! Thanks
