We are working with M&S over the next couple of months or so, to find out what you think about three of M&S's key ranges:

~ shapewear
~ kidswear
~ Simply Fuller Longer (this is only available in store - see store locator for your nearest store)

M&S have asked us to recruit a panel of MNers to take part in product tests and give their feedback. Panellists will be given M&S vouchers to spend on shapewear or Simply Fuller Longer, and asked to take part in a discussion about kidswear, which all MNers will be able to take part in. There will be a prize draw for every project.

This is open to all UK MNers who have at least one child. It doesn't matter if you currently buy M&S products or not, they are looking for both buyers and non-buyers. If you sign up and indicate that you'd like to take part in the Simply Fuller Longer product test, then please note that you will need to be within easy reach of an M&S store as the vouchers for this can't be redeemed online.

If you haven't yet visited the M&S pages on Mumsnet, please do check them out here.

If you're interested in taking part please add your details here.

Thanks and good luck
MNHQ

And I agree with pp, what you lose by having a tight fit on the waist you definitely gain by no vpl.

Just typed out a long post and it has gone so not happy. Tech sort it out!

I have spent my gift card on 2 items. these in pink and these in nude.

I haven't worn them yet as waiting for AF and don't want them ruined.

Other reviews wanted as follows -

The member of staff who I asked for help was so friendly, kind and knowledgable I wonder if she is aware of this test as generally the staff there are pretty dismissive and are great at making you feel stupid if you aren't sure what you need.

I was very impressed with the number of items in the range. I never expected there to be so many. The stock was messed up in places with different items on one hook but I know that is often down to the customers.

I thought he colour choces were okay if predictable but a navy and deep red would be nice.

I spent £37 buying both items but paid £32 as I had a £5 voucher from the paper. I spent the remainder in the food hall. I would say they are good value for money if they do what they say they will.

Hi shapewear testers - thanks for all the feedback that you've posted on here so far. There is a feedback thread for shapewear which I've just started - here.

Please can I be a pain and ask you to copy across the feedback you've given here onto the feedback thread? A big Thanks to all who oblige!

Erm....

My voucher still isn't here.

BUT

A ParcelForce van delivered an enormous box today, with a label saying it was sent from Marks and Spencers. It contained.....................

A pop up tent (which I most certainly have not ordered) Hmm Grin Grin Grin

Is this meant to be some sort of insult on the size of my arse? Where is my voucher? Is this instead? As well?

It is just bizarre!

Its not an M&S branded tent, just a cheapo looking one - it has no packaging, no label, no instructions, no billing info, nothing. Just a pop up tent (a black one, with windows) inside a huuuuge box with my address on and a sticker saying it was sent by Marks and Spencer PLC. I absolutely definitely haven't ordered it, I don't want or need a two man pop up tent! And I cannot imagine who the hell else would have sent it to me.

DP gave it the Hmm face and asked if I was sure it wasn't the underwear.

Not ready to post a review yet as items not yet arrived, but already a bit annoyed with M&S.

I ordered mine online using the £35 gift card and adding £4 from one of my old birthday gift cards as I went slightly over. Because they hadn't delivered to this address before, it said I had to enter my credit card details as well Hmm. Not very happy, but it wouldn't process it otherwise.

Turns out I was right to be wary. When I received an email confirming dispatch of the good, it said £25 taken from the gift card and £14 from my credit card!!
I have queried it and they are refunding, but very odd - not at all obvious why this has happened.
