Any chance of you presenting Film 2010? I might actually watch it if you did.

JackBauer · 23/11/2009 12:38

Oh yes, any more screenplays? Answer Vicar, please!

Vicarinatutut, I'm snuffling around planning a couple of other fictional teleplays and the like at the moment. Don't want to say too much as I think that always jinxes thing. I was pleasantly surprised by the reaction to Dead Set.

Screenwipe is back in Dec for a Review of the Year special. Then Newswipe in Jan. After that who knows?

CharlieBrooker · 23/11/2009 12:40

They've just broken one of my fingers for typing Mumsnet with a capital 'N'. If I type slowly from here on in BLAME THEM.

And me.

For typing the N.

Skegness · 23/11/2009 12:41

Numsnet does sound a bit shit though.

sallydecker · 23/11/2009 12:41

That's all well and good, Charlie, but I still have no idea what to wear.

It's not all about you, you know.

Do you think I can get away with the red one? With my colouring?

M1ssy · 23/11/2009 12:42

Hi Charlie, Have you done much swotting up in preparation for celeb Mastermind? When is it on? Is it a Christmas thing?

Kisses and licks and stuff

PS Please people, it's lunchtime the worst possible time of day to be imagining Cameron jizzing

JustineMumsnet · 23/11/2009 12:42

Yeh watch it, or we'll take your biscuits away.

JackBauer · 23/11/2009 12:42

Spelling mistakes? Random capitals?

Must Do Better.

Dead set was brilliant, one of the few zombie films I can watch without having nightmares for some reason, even though it is quite terrifying.

(Ps. Kim? whiny bitch or useful cast member? I do need to know, it's very important)

sallydecker · 23/11/2009 12:43

Oh.

Have just been informed that it is all about you.

How unfair.

CharlieBrooker · 23/11/2009 12:43

Leningrad, that Jan Moir 'bitch / cunt' tweet wasn't mine; I was retweeting someone else. But it did make me laugh. As did that Jimmy Carr joke. I laugh at all sorts of dark and horrible things. I firmly believe doing this is very very good for you.

CharlieBrooker · 23/11/2009 12:44

There was a slight technical hitch there. I blame the Apple Mac they're forcing me to use.

SerendipitousHarlot · 23/11/2009 12:44

Couldn't agree with you more Charlie. All part of your charm

MissGreatBritain · 23/11/2009 12:45

Sorry I'm late Charlie. Did you answer my question about what your favourite game of all time is? If you have, my apologies. If you haven't, why not????

CharlieBrooker · 23/11/2009 12:45

M1ssy, I'm afraid I've had to pull out of Celeb Mastermind as my schedule got all crumpled. Maybe I'll go on it again in the future if they haven't blacklisted me now.

SixtyFootDoll · 23/11/2009 12:45

what soup do you like?

Ponymum · 23/11/2009 12:46

Charlie, if I remember correctly, some months ago in your column you declared the need to find yourself a wife. How is this project progressing? I don't recall any updates. Have you (a) come to your senses and abandoned this scheme, (b) are slowly coming to terms with your emotional side but it might take a while, (c) have had some success but aren't telling?
What sort of lovlee laydee are you looking for anyway? I am struggling to imagine a suitable companion who would not annoy you in some way.

MissWooWoo · 23/11/2009 12:47

Charlie

... if I said you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me?

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 23/11/2009 12:47

So you are a pc? he he

ThatVikRinA22 · 23/11/2009 12:47

ah well...cant have everything i suppose. thanks for answering...will look forward to the new stuff.

i dont laugh at the telly much, but the Street Doctor bit on Screenwipe had me howling. i couldnt breath...very very funny. the whole family gave me some very funny looks....)

cheers charlie!

oblong · 23/11/2009 12:48

Hi Charlie,
Are you a Guardian die hard or could you happily take the Murdoch shilling if circumstances altered?

Thanks!

OmicronPersei8 · 23/11/2009 12:48

Hello Charlie, is this webchat (ie Mumsnet) what you expected it to be?

TheArmadillo · 23/11/2009 12:48

Do or have you ever role played - and would like to point out I am talking about the dungeons&dragons type thingy not kinky sex games?

and what is your opinion of RPers?

CharlieBrooker · 23/11/2009 12:48

JamesandtheGiantBanana, I probably do self-censor quite a bit. I'm exceptionally lucky in that my job involves blurting the contents of my forebrain out without really considering the consequences, but it gets harder the more you do it.
