I am well aware that badgering is not allowed.

But I and many of my peers rely on tax credits.

WHat, precisely, is going to happen about this?

I really do not want to hear that you are going to think about it - you are in the running for primeminister. You should have already thought about it.

please, Mr cameron - Tax credits

To be fair, in Germany we pay 15% of our pay to fund the fabulous health service, almost half our pay goes on tax/health service/pensions/unemployment benefit.

The health care there is good because they throw a LOT of money at it.

daftpunk · 19/11/2009 14:51

slug..

even Nick Griffin is a white Cambridge educated millionaire...

wasabipeanut · 19/11/2009 14:51

Herbie, there are a lot of questions here. Mr Cameron may be drafting a response to yours now.

If he doesn't answer it at all I can see why you would be angry.

RTKangaMummy · 19/11/2009 14:51

thank you for your answer

BUT what can I tell them that YOU will do for them?

They worked in state schools all their lives and saved up and now are being penalized for it

What will you do????

Housemum · 19/11/2009 14:51

It's not just breastfeeding, it's the whole early days with a newborn. I totally believe that breastfeeding is best, and was very pleased that I could, Ihad support from NCT friends. But the HVs need to be clear that they are supporting the mother in whatever choice she makes - obviously that breast is best but they are there to support all new mums. I'm sure there are mums slipping through the net because they see breastfeeding clinics, but not early days clinics - thus alienating those who bottle feed (I'll probably be stoned for appearing to support formula now...)

domesticextremist · 19/11/2009 14:51

So hang on - theres to be no more taxing of individuals earning over 100k+ but families jointly earning 50k will be clobbered?

wasuup3000 · 19/11/2009 14:52

You seem to like to attack the labour party but have no real answers to our questions.

mmeLindt The heathcare was AMAZING, my husband was stationed in Germany with the army and we found public services 2nd to none. I was in Heaven, clean, ifficient etc

All I can say is the money was worth it. A German Doctor saved my life after DS was born after the British Doctor told me to take some paracetimol and have a rest.....

The problem with educating Health Visitors about breastfeeding is surely that, by the time a new mother is introduced to her health visitor (at 2-3 weeks?) it is often far too late for much advice, and the advice you are going to be given with in a Doctor's open clinic with your baby pissing on the scales while 20 other women watch your nipples bleeding through your shirt and your eye swollen with tears is probably not really going to help a lot...

wasuup3000 · 19/11/2009 14:54

Hello David

If your party is successful in the next election will you continue supporting the work by The Communications Trust following THE BERCOW REPORT for children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs and still support the year 2011/2012 as being the year of Speech, Language and Communication?

Many thanks if you manage to find a minute to answer this question.

ScattyKatty · 19/11/2009 14:55

sorry typing so fast should say efficient

PaulDacresCrackWhore · 19/11/2009 14:55

School run calling. That was disappointing.

Peachy · 19/11/2009 14:55

'I think Health Visitors can also have a role in linking new mothers with more experienced mums."

with due respect but, before I fall about laughing, tell me, how!

Do you actually know of what you speak here?'

They do that now

by referring to Homestart

where if lucky they might see someone after a year or so on my books (as was, before I gave up work)

Experienced mums rarely have time to do voluntary work- afact borne out by our recruitment rates.

Shoving workloads onto a voluntary sector won't work, there isn't the capacity.

MrsNeilTweedie · 19/11/2009 14:55

I would like DC to answer my question on Europe. But I understand there are a lot of questions. I think William Hague (much as I like him and think he is intelligent; his views on Europe are just untenable) is going to have to go and the Tories are going to have to leave their right wing group in Europe. Please do so soon - U turning after a wrong turn is perfectly acceptable. As Mr Brown has recently demostrated. Continuing along the wrong road is very silly.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 19/11/2009 14:55

morningpaper

definitely me too

tattycoram · 19/11/2009 14:56

I don't really get the "sure start" health visitors thing - are you going to take the name sure start and attach it to health visitors, while possibly closing down sure start centres?
