Do you? Hmm, no, I'm not that impressed with it. 3 or 4 people I know have said they don't want to go this time as last time was the old stuff and this will be the newer stuff which they don't like. I'd still like to go but I do agree - I'm not as bothered as I would have been last time.

Tutter · 02/03/2007 14:10

i'm with lth

can't be faffed

saw them just after robbie left, and have seen robbie twice since then. can't quite muster the enthusiasm

mosschops30 · 02/03/2007 14:33

woo-hoo have just received my confirmation can now breathe a sigh of relief

Nbg · 02/03/2007 14:39

i love their new album. its that and fact that their last tour was so good that i want to go again.

i think the websites have been crapola too. you'd have thought they'd have learned their lesson last time.
if ticketmaster hadnt called me, they'd have been getting a good telling off.

nailpolish · 02/03/2007 14:43

oh come on

they are not going to come on stage, sing their new album and then finish

there will be loads of old stuff

they know thats what we are really going for

cant wait!

nailpolish · 02/03/2007 14:44

even robbie sings TT stuff in his concerts

Hulababy · 02/03/2007 14:44

I agree - reckon they will do a lot of new stuff, but with a fair number of older stuff in there too.

nailpolish · 02/03/2007 17:20

i cant believe 2 tickets for the glasgow concert are going for £600+ on ebay

Twinkie1 · 02/03/2007 17:22

Was going to take DD but they can go swivel if they think I am paying those extortionate prices - what a complete piss take alright Gary is loaded but they could be a bit more reasonable about the prices!!

NuttyMuffins · 02/03/2007 17:22

Was just telling my dad about it and he said to email watchdog but is there any point ?? Ebay won't not let people sell them as they get so much from the listing fees etc.

It is ticket touting though at the end of the day isn't it, which is illegal isn't it ??

Plus my dad said that it states in ebay rules that you cannot auction off anything which you aren't actually in posession of, anyone know if that is true ?

nailpolish · 02/03/2007 17:23

look 7 K for london tickets

Nbg · 02/03/2007 17:23

Did you not see the 2 tickets for london selling at £10,000,000.00 with 68 bids????

nailpolish · 02/03/2007 17:24

must be a mistake nbg

Nbg · 02/03/2007 17:25

Oh no, no mistake!
I looked at the bid history and it was ridic!

NuttyMuffins · 02/03/2007 17:27

How on earth do normal people stand any chance of getting tickets when this goes on.

Nbg · 02/03/2007 17:28

I want to know who is buying them!
Who has that sort of cash, just to spend on concert tickets?

Hulababy · 02/03/2007 17:34

Twinkle - to be fair the tickets for Take That are no dearer than others such as Robbie, and no where near the abscene amounts for concerts for people such as Madonna.

Agree about the ebay ads though - horrid to see TBH. But if people are willing to pay.... What it needs is for ebay to take a stance, but they won't - they'd lose too much money.

MrsMills · 02/03/2007 17:36

I GOT MY TICKETS!!!!!!!!!

Hulababy · 02/03/2007 17:36

How come the bidders for the expensive tickets have no names, just bidder1, 2, etc. ?

Whizzz · 02/03/2007 17:36

If you haven't got tickets, its often worth waiting until 4 weeks or so before the concert & then check on Ticketmaster every day. Usually extra blocks of tickets are held back & then released. Its a gamble, but I wouldn't pay hugely inflated prices on EBay
It was certainly true of the George Michael tickets recently
