MNQ's - Would you like to join other MNers for a Q&A with the Deputy Prime Minister?

Hello,

We're going to be holding a live, in-person Q&A session with the Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, on March 25 between 12.45 and 2pm.

The audience will be solely composed of Mumsnetters. There's a possibility that it will be filmed for broadcast, so you'd need to be comfortable with that - and for security reasons audience members will need to be accredited in advance.

The venue will be confirmed to the guests nearer the time, but it will be in central London (apologies - we know this is annoying for those of you who aren't in the south-east).

If you want to know where the DPM stands on all the issues, please do add your name to this thread. If you filled out our election survey and gave your contact details we might contact you via email as well.

Thanks

Yes I'm in with toddler. The toddler only holds strong views on the amount of yogurts he should be alowed to eat. Grin

MrsWembley · 16/03/2015 22:29

Oh no, Liney, I was going to ask you to ask a question on my behalf...Sad

Heckler · 16/03/2015 22:47

Line - might your back be better by the 25th?

I will ask your question for you MrsW, if liney cant, and if they let me go. As long as it is not about his skin care regime

AKnickerfulOfMenace · 17/03/2015 06:23

Just mooching on to offer sympathy to Liney.

LineRunner · 17/03/2015 09:48

Ah thanks, guys. It's a slipped disc. It was improving but it 'went' again. It means I can't sit down! I don't think my being wheeled in on a chaise longue is quite the look MN are aiming for.

Heckler · 17/03/2015 10:06

The chaise longue could work. You could team it with an Austin style empire line dress and ringlets?
Grin

On a more serious note, sorry you can't make it. I hope you feel better soon

OutsSelf · 17/03/2015 10:19

OOO, am I too late? I can make next Wednesday in London town, I've got childcare and everything. I won't swear!

RowanMumsnet · 17/03/2015 10:35

Hurrah!

(We will email everyone with more details soon)

RowanMumsnet · 17/03/2015 10:41

@LineRunner

Actually could Heckler or someone else definitely have my spot because I have just put my back out again and I'm not going anywhere on a train any time soon. Sad

Oh no Sad Sorry to hear that LineRunner

OutsSelf · 17/03/2015 10:42

Puffins and Heckler will sit on me, Rowan! I've even talked over my questions with them Smile

Please count me in.

ThatBloodyWoman · 17/03/2015 14:56

Given that he'll soon be completely insignificant in the political arena,as he was before the blip that gave him his 5 minutes,I'll pass...

KKCupCake · 17/03/2015 15:07

Oh I would love to do this, but I can't get there. I have been a Libdem voter all my (voting) life. I just can't/won't believe ANY of their soon to be shown to be lies promises after a) getting into bed with the Tories and b) Uni Fees

LizzieWaterworth · 17/03/2015 20:00

Sending my apologises, got prior work commitments, but would like pass on the message that; I voted Lib Dem in the last election. Due to the coalition, I will never ever EVER do so again. Ever
