MNQ's - Would you like to join other MNers for a Q&A with the Deputy Prime Minister?

Hello,

We're going to be holding a live, in-person Q&A session with the Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, on March 25 between 12.45 and 2pm.

The audience will be solely composed of Mumsnetters. There's a possibility that it will be filmed for broadcast, so you'd need to be comfortable with that - and for security reasons audience members will need to be accredited in advance.

The venue will be confirmed to the guests nearer the time, but it will be in central London (apologies - we know this is annoying for those of you who aren't in the south-east).

If you want to know where the DPM stands on all the issues, please do add your name to this thread. If you filled out our election survey and gave your contact details we might contact you via email as well.

Thanks

LineRunner · 16/03/2015 16:51

Heckler must be in it! I'll give up my place for her (if I get one) although I'd love to be sitting next to her!

PuffinsAreFictitious · 16/03/2015 16:52

Line, we can smuggle her in, she's only little Grin

RowanMumsnet · 16/03/2015 16:55

@jonicomelately

I'll do it. I'm not in the SE though so it would have to be on a day I can arrange childcare.

Joni and pipsrainbow - let us know if you think you can make it.

LineRunner · 16/03/2015 16:56

She can sit in the the hood of my parka.

Nessarosehas4 · 16/03/2015 16:58

I'd quite like to be primed too, Buffy.

JuliaRae · 16/03/2015 17:09

Yes please! In fact, long time lurker just joined because I would really love to do this. Have many, many questions :)

PuffinsAreFictitious · 16/03/2015 17:19

Oh lordy Buffy! Can you write down the meanings to the longer words? Grin

And yes Line she'd fit neatly into the hood of a parka.

SukieTuesday · 16/03/2015 17:26

Is he definitely going to do the web chat? Did he promise to?

Heckler · 16/03/2015 17:49

I'm in if you'll have me. I am sure that Puffins and Line will egg me on keep me in check Wink

Heckler · 16/03/2015 17:51

Humph at fitting into the hood of a Parker. I'm small, but I'm not that small.

LineRunner · 16/03/2015 17:52

I have a massive head, though, Heckler. Smile

ThisIsSylviaDaisyPouncer · 16/03/2015 17:53

I would be free and I would love to do this. I work in central London so it's relatively easy for me.

LineRunner · 16/03/2015 19:23

Actually could Heckler or someone else definitely have my spot because I have just put my back out again and I'm not going anywhere on a train any time soon. Sad

LineRunner · 16/03/2015 19:24

God I sound like quasimodo.

Heckler · 16/03/2015 19:42

Boooo. No! Line I really want to meet you.

MrsHathaway · 16/03/2015 19:48

Will someone ask him what he thinks about London-centric government and the future of autonomy for the regions?

Shaping up to be another MN election, huh.

PuffinsAreFictitious · 16/03/2015 19:54

I'll be able to write that many many times over as I head to London from the provinces Grin
