To celebrate the launch of Mumsnet's new-look food and recipe section we've invited some very special guests to come and join us for webchats to chat about food. And with Christmas just round the corner, they'll be on-hand to help you prepare a feast to remember for Christmas 2013.

We're delighted that LORRAINE PASCALE is kicking off our series of foody chats and is joining us tomorrow (Thursday 28 November) evening between 9 and 10pm.

Other guests will be Natalie Coleman (Monday 2 December, 1-2pm) and James Martin on Friday 6 December (1.45-2.45pm).

Lorraine last joined us at Mumsnet in September 2012 when she told us about how she started out, baking with her daughter and the secret behind cooking and maintaining a whiter than white T-Shirt whilst at the stove. This time she's going to be telling us about her latest book A Lighter Way To Bake and answering your questions about cooking and baking for Christmas.

Lorraine I absolutely love you!as does my Dh,for the simple reason that everything I cook from your book 'home cooking made easy' actually works!
I'm not the best cook at all,but the recipes are easy to follow and I haven't yet had anything that hasnt come out less than perfect.
Im actually going to make your chicken teriyaki dish in about 10mins,made it last week for the first time-massive hit,dh said it was better than a takeaway-praise indeed.
Also made your raspberry muffins yesterday which are amazing and dh took one to work today and text me saying people had 'muffin envy'

Hi Lorraine, I love your recipes, they all work beautifully. I even tried the chorizo fougasse ... and it worked! What's your tip for lightening mince pies? I love them but they are high in fat and sugar. Thanks in advance!

It's my DH's birthday on Saturday. I'd love to make him something impressive but easy (I can make basic stuff but mostly puddings and muffiny things, all very forgiving). Any suggestions?

Hello Lorraine, I have a pastry question: I keep my (wooden) rolling pin in the fridge, so help keep the pastry cool which DH seems to think makes me a bit odd but, is it worth getting a marble/ceramic rolling pin instead.

I am the Editor of the Mumsnet Suffolk pages and wondered if I could post one of your recipes on our Facebook page here? We have one from 'A Girl Called Jack' but I wanted to ask your permission first.

Something easy, maybe festive and good to make with or for children would be lovely and all credit will be given.

I really love your books as does my daughter who is retraining as a Patissiere and she has asked me to ask you if you have any useful tips or advice for her regarding stages-where to apply, what would be a good one or general training and career tips?

Having you as a career role model has been good for her so thank you as she was a tad despairing that her original degree and career choice just wasn't for her and she knows you have worked in different careers before finding your metier.

We use your baking recipes a lot at home, they always seem to work a dream.
But we have a problem, we cannot find your recipe for the biscuits with melted sweets in the middle (like stained glass): it is nearly Christmas and our tree will look bare without them!
Is this recipe in one of your books? I will buy it just on the strength of that recipe!

Gosh, this recipe is not in any books as was done for the christmas special. I will try and dig it out and put it on my website for you :-)

How about a christmas yule log? with pomegranates on top and mint leaves. You could make it out of chocolate?

Thanks very much for your message. I would take vanilla, fruit and some icecream, so I could always have delicious food. Equipment would be my kmix, slow cooker and chopping board, and with those things I would be sorted! Thanks for the comments, very much appreciated.
