DS 4, has a badge he calls “birdie friend.” I may post a photo later! It’s a badge with a bird on.

Birdie Friend seems to have the gift of the “sight!” “Birdie Friend says Bob and Rose are here mummy, they like to have tea with us. Bob and Rose are DH’s grandparents who died many years ago.

“Birdie Friend says the men who lived upstairs looked like you mummy when their faces burned off.” We used to live in a former military hospital and I had a sheet mash on my face! The ward upstairs had indeed been a burns/plastics ward!

“Mummy, Birdie Friend says the end is coming soon.”

OP. Has it occurred to you that you don't have to get pregnant for your DS to have a sister?

I'm sure Birdie Friend would tell OP if her husband had a pregnant mistress @CircleofWillis , BF is hardly the spirit of diplomacy and tact. Plus, if the OP is having a baby that means we all get at least 9 more months of life before armageddon takes us. 🙌

Seeing as we work on the same site and we car share I think it’s very unlikely that DH could squeeze a mistress in a la BoJo! 😂

We took BF out today. The shopping outlet used to be part of the Royal Navy. DS was wittering on saying “BF says this used to be the stores, this is where the moo moo cows came, this is where the guns lived.”

DS is walking around the house with BF singing “this little light of mine.” We’ve just made pain au chocolat which involved BF being pushed into the pain with cries of “feed birdie friend, feed.”

I’m still seeing shadow people out of the corner of my eye. DH confessed he sees them too. As a military pilot, he is the most sensible, down to earth person ever. An avowed atheist who had the Catholic wedding to please me.

Mind you, I barely slept at Jamaica Inn for seeing things and woke up with a pillow covered in blood spots. DH snored soundly all night.

I can’t help but wonder if it’s me that’s haunted, not the badge or the house but something following me?

This reminds me of me as a kid 😂 me and my friends were in a ghost club and thought we could see ghosts, we even married ghosts. We also said the devils dog (which was a pug with red eyes) would come and see us during school lunch time. We turned out ok....

If this kind of thing hasn't happened to you before (except in a famously haunted hotel) then it's much more likely that it's the badge that's causing it.

From what I've read spirits attract other spirits, so if BF is channelling some otherworldly shit in your house then all the spirits around will gravitate to that energy and feed off each other to get stronger. You need to end this before BF attracts something that's really bad or difficult to remove. Honestly I would have chucked BF on a bonfire the first time your DS started making prophesies; the longer it goes on, the harder it'll be to get rid, and things can attach to children much more easily than they can attach to adults.

No input on BF but when I was at Jamaica Inn last year my 1 year old who had just started talking kept pointing to one part of the pub saying 'he's stuck! He's stuck!'
I managed to get it on video. Still freaks me out.
