Trips and Shabs soak up the sun, Nikos is cooking sardinas, Takis is pouring the wine, this is unlike any pic-nic I have been on:) Cannot believe this time tomorrow we will be on our way home:(

The last night is always good - we have to do the rounds of all the bars we have been in - just to say goodbye, then down to a few of the shops on the main road to say see you next year.

Will take you up to Aquarius bar - you get there by walking along the beach...its fantastic! Massive restaurant, big bar and a huge beach shack next to it. By about midnight they get everybody pole dancing on the top of the beach shack bar!!! So a double tena lady for me tonight. Nikos said that he will take us both to the airport tomorrow - but he will have to pick us up in his work clothes..... so that is Rigger boots, jeans with rips across the knee and a tight t shirt....a tight MUCKY t shirt........

Slaps Shabs across face with a wet sardine.....somehow I think this is going to be a night to remember my friend.......pole dancing.......watch me:)

They have all been so kind Shabs, treated me like one of the family too, I am going to miss them, but more than that I shall miss you, I cant tell you how much this has all meant to me....... Got to start thinking of excuses as to why I havent got may photos to show them, will have to hide some of them.....I mean look at this how the hell did I hang upside down on that pole!! Look at you and Nickos,where did you go that day on the back of his bike? God we`ve had some fun:)

The Gatwick flight goes about half an hour before the Manchester one so we will have a giggle in the airport. It will be very busy because they are coming to the end of the season.

Oh poo Trips - Takis and Tas' children are going to be back from school by the time we set off.....cue tears all round from everybody!

Lets go Shabs, Nickos is revving up, Gloria and the staffe are all lined up outside, feel like the Queen!! I hate goodbyes, lets make it quick before I cry again............Trips and Shabs rush out and are lifted up and hugged, cries of "coma back soona" run and get into Nickos`s car, notice Shabs slides into the front seat and hoists her skirt up! "Byeeee and thank you for everything".......Nickos gently brushes tears from Shabs eyes..........

Couldn't talk before Trips - too sad by far.

OK darling they are calling the Gatwick flight...Safe journey home my friend....Wave to me as you are getting on the plane ......

Starting our descent into Manchester - its grey and looks like it has been raining....it matches my mood.

I did my usual routine in Rhodes - walked up the plane steps and turned to look back at the island, then I always blow a kiss and say 'see you soon.'

Ruby - it was me....it was my wedding anniversary on Tuesday and my first day in a new job so I've drunk all the wine!

PS I was alone on my wedding anniversary!

Just my luck..........plane delayed, drunk on board who refused to get off..........no it wasnt me! Could have cried leaving Shabs, God knows when well see each other again, she is a breath of fresh air in my life. So taxi just pulling up at my house wonder what will greet me?
