This is just a reference thread to remind each other of who we are so we don't get each other mixed up and makes it easier for new people to make sense of us!

Put whatever details you are comfortable with that you think will help people to remember you (no life histories required!)

I'm estar, I'm 30 and live in Lancashire and am a SAHM but also leading a church with DH.

DS1 - 7
DTs (boys) - nearly 6
DS4 - 1 and 10 months.
DC5 - due in March!

D'y ever wondering since 2006.

Momma . I did correct myself on the d'y ever thread though. Hear you might be back up in town towards the end of this month...Mars and I were thinking retail therapy, then cocktails . After you've done the important study bit of course .

triplets · 15/09/2009 23:33

Seems like I have put an end to this thread!

firsttimetwins · 17/09/2009 16:20

triplets, I think I'm un-ending your end! I just added myself to the d'y ever thread and have been instructed to make myself known here too.

So, I'm 30.
I'm pregnant (31+1) with identical twin girls. These are my first. I'm very excited about them, but also more than a little scared...
I'm Scottish but I've been living in Berlin for 3 and a half years. Before that I lived in Spain.
I'm a freelance translator but am now on maternity leave and won't be working for a year and a bit.
And I'm fairly new to MN.

NotQuiteSoBigBird · 17/09/2009 19:15

Oooh, can I come back and join you? I'm back at work after having my two and finding myself lurking, which just won't do...

I'm 39, have DD1 who is 4-going-on-44, and b/g DTs of 9 months who are delicious. I live in London and am a lawyer, with a rather marvellous (most of the time) DH who is sharing the childcare with me so I can go back to work.

Lovely Mars helped my DTs into the world, she is a Mar[s]vel .

TeaSleepFood · 03/10/2009 11:44

Hello,
I'm 37 with B/G twins who are 2 in december.
Back at work part time and living in Dorset.
Very tired. need more tea and sleep. Oh, and food.

Flumpity · 05/10/2009 13:23

hello, i'm a bit lurky but now just gone on maternity leave so maybe i'll have more time to post. you're a hard bunch to keep up with though.

london but trying to move as we need a bigger house!

OohBlimey · 19/11/2009 16:36

Hello, this thread was a while ago but I am hoping you will still have me!

I am 34, I live in Suffolk, I have twin DD's 4 and half years.

I have 'dabbled' in mumsnet and am hoping that I can come back more often for support/encouragment/laughs etc..as......
I am finding these years quite tough, although DD's are funny/cute/adorable/clever/amazing - I find the arguing/fighting/testing times - well.... very testing!!!

You guys all seem fab and very supportive and better to learn what the hell I am supposed to be doing from you instead of from a crappy book or TV programme hey?!

Oh I work 3 days a week and live with DH, and my DD's start full time school in April, blub blub argggghhh!

Thanks for listening!

curiositykilledhaskittens · 19/11/2009 18:03

Course we'll have you oohblimey! Welcome and get yourself posting on the proper thread!

My eldest just started full-time school in September so know how you feel! Blub blub!

Derv78 · 21/11/2009 20:58

Hello everyone,I'm Derv, am 31 & live in Belfast.

On maternity leave at the minute but work in Mental Health (I love my job, but glad to be finished for the time being!). I hope to return to work on a PT basis when my DTs are about 8/9 months.

Have been married since August '07, and happily ended up pg with honeymoon baby .

At the minute I'm mum to DD1, aged 18moths. She is a wee star, but starting to feel tired keeping up with her at this stage of pregnancy!

I'm 34+2 pg with MCDA twins. Don't know sex for definite but DH convinced they are boys. We'll know for definite in the very near future!

jennyroper · 23/11/2009 07:15

fairies - holy mother of God that is one SERIOUSLY impressive list of children. Have you stopped having babies yet?

I'm Jenny, 34, live in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand with my husband and son (3) and id twin girls (1 last week).
This is what we did for their first birthday:
about 90 people including masses of children at our house, a bouncy castle, lamb on a spit, mountains of sausages, 4 kegs of beer, lazy boozing in the sunshine as all the children had fun bouncing on the tramp, bouncy castle, tearing the place up culminating in dancing on the deck in our garden to loud 90's music until 2am. I can't think of a better way to celebrate.

I love MN and try and to post fairly often. I've always found all the regulars to be uber friendly and funny. A perfect mix

Timesofhope · 23/11/2009 14:07

Hello! I am Timesofhope (aka Nikki) and have been MN'ing for probably about a year although more of a lurker than a writer.

I have id triplet girls who are nearly 15 months old. Am a southerner born and bred but have lived with my partner in Liverpool for almost 7 years.

Don't do anything for work at the mo, as getting treatment for anxiety and PND, prior to having the girls I had just finished my degree in Psychology and Sociology.
