This is just a reference thread to remind each other of who we are so we don't get each other mixed up and makes it easier for new people to make sense of us!

Put whatever details you are comfortable with that you think will help people to remember you (no life histories required!)

I'm estar, I'm 30 and live in Lancashire and am a SAHM but also leading a church with DH.

DS1 - 7
DTs (boys) - nearly 6
DS4 - 1 and 10 months.
DC5 - due in March!

D'y ever wondering since 2006.

pixiblue · 28/08/2009 19:51

Hiya,
Just adding myself to the list. I live in Mid Devon, although mostly loiter around Exeter when I get chance and was a born and bred Londoner until year and half ago when I plucked Devon off a map and we moved.

I have:
DS1 - 6
DD1 - 5 (almost)
DTs - 2.8 (b/g)
DS3 - 1.4

I'm studying for a psych degree with the OU, just finished my first year, only a zillion to go.

Found the D'y threads when feaking out pg with dts although lurking on MN from a few years before. Love, love, love having a big family and the moments each day when they're all getting along.

I'm 33(just) but haven't really celebrated my birthday for 4 years (too pg/bfing/poor) so am in denial about my age .

MarsLady · 28/08/2009 20:02

I'm Mars.

I just completed my OU Eng Lit degree 2:1

I have 5 DC

DS1: 16
DD1: 14
DD2: 11 (today)
DT1/DD3: 5
DT2/DS2: 5

I'm a Doula, I live in N London. I've been a D' y' ever-er since the beginning when darling FG started it.

dizzymare · 28/08/2009 20:14

This feels like an AA meeting, not that I've ever been to one

I'm dizzy, 35, from Lyndhurst. Mum to ds 20 months and 17+6 with twin girls.

H left me 15 weeks ago, so I am a single mum I guess

curiositykilled · 28/08/2009 20:59

I'm curiosity, 25 from a truly beautiful seaside resort called Southport.

I have two DCs from a previous abusive relationship:

DS - 4, just starting school born in hospital after a long labour and a transfer from MLU
DD - 2.11 born at home - amazing experience.

I was a single mum all through second pg and had a very tough time with the DCs dad, but very happily got married in February to a really wonderful DH! who I don't deserve

Found out 5 days before the wedding that I was pg and was then shocked to find out it was twins - absolutely no history of twins in the family. This is when I discovered MN, it has been one of the only things that's helped with my various 'twin panics'!

I'm 30+3 with boy/girl twins due on 3rd November.

Sorry it's long, just thought I'd better put everything that might be relevant! I have a big northern gob

shabbapinkfrog · 29/08/2009 02:38

Curiosity Im liking you more and more with every message

Awwwwww you are 25???? A baby!! My DS3 is 35 and my twin boys are 27 (one of my twins and my DS3 are no longer here physically but are eternally with me emotionally)

I think I am slightly pissed drunk....just wanted to say that the multiples thread ladies know my story but have never made me feel like I shouldn't be here - they are wonderful xxxxx

shabbapinkfrog · 29/08/2009 02:39

PMSL my DS3 is 25 like you!!! Not 35 - oh Im going to bed xx

Thanks for starting this Estar - I've always thought the D'you ever threads are great but a bit intimidating as everyone seems to know each other!

Hi I'm Charley and a fan of bagpuss as the name suggests. I am a serial lurker and usually show my face when I need support in the depths of night to Shabba and Trips reminiscing about vinyl.

I am 39, a researcher, live in Sheffield and have
DD - 4.10
Identical DT boys 2.5
Currently due number 4 in early December.

Currently panicking about VBAC.
DS is cuddling my huge bump and tells me it is wriggling. Am officially a weirdo EBF as tandem nursing whilst pregnant.

MNing since 2005.

KembleTwins · 01/09/2009 13:24

Hello

I'm Kemble. I'm 34 and a SAHM. DTs (identical girls) are just 3. I live in Gloucestershire.

Was a drama teacher before DTs were born. Will have to head back to the classroom at some point, I guess, but am putting it off for as long as possible.

MNing for short amount of time but am a bit of an addict...
