I was right - you are a marvel. Now I am a married single mother parent myself, I find the idea of someone doing this single-handed for real awe-inspiring.

You're bound to have a special bond with the first one, after what you went through, but it can't go backwards, I mean, your experiences can only make it even better in future.

Very nice talking to you RRR and finding out about you. I'm going to go to my bed now, hope you haven't posted a question or something and I'll look rude not answering it when my message comes up. Night night. Have a happy time unpacking. Here's what I think you might find in your car:

kettle
half used packet of student foodbeanfeast
dying pot plant
dirty laundry
posters with bits of bluetack on the corners
a book.

Have fun x

RRR - Ta those piccies are uber-cute (even if I do say so myself). Think they must have been around 12 weeks then. All baby grows and fluffy velour clothes. They had grown up jeans on today and they looked so big. The time really zooms past don't it? They'll be dating next and i'll be collecting my pension (nearly :-)).

I've finally found out how and why Lydle joined us! I was worried that I'd missed something pertinent. She started a thread asking to join the asylum us!

She's a bit like OJ... loves is addicted to our company.

Once again Lydle... welcome!

shabster · 18/06/2008 23:24

Good evening vietnam girls. I bet everybody has buggered off to bed?

shabster · 18/06/2008 23:36

Hiya Mars - you ok love?

MarsLady · 18/06/2008 23:38

I'm alright angel puff! I need to go to bed because my client's waters have gone and I know she'll call in the middle of the night. I should've stuck to my original appointments and then she'd've had the baby by now.

How's my nephew doing?

Your hols are soon aren't they? Ooh I must send that package off to you! Will try and do that in the next couple of days.

Must go to bed. Someone make me go to bed!!!!!!!!

shabster · 18/06/2008 23:49

oooggs - TIRED!!! AAARRGGGHHH!!! oh and very grumpy - took myself to bed at 9pm last night cos I was snapping at DH about everything. (you'd think after trying for a baby and then succeeding, I'd be happy, which I am, just so exhausted and low though!)

How about you Oooggs? How far are you now, have you had a scan yet?

Hi Tigger - you are sounding upbeat girly, well done...how are things generally?

Mars, did your lady produce on time?!

Shabs - how are you?

LG&T, how was the scan - I seem to remember the first one is over very quickly....for us it will be etched on our memory forever "hmmm....have you been feeling very ill?" "not really doc, why?" "it's twins"

oooggs · 19/06/2008 09:25

Neeerly - feeling very sick 24/7 (threw up at 11pm last night - horrific)
seeing midwife this afternoon, I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and haven't had a scan yet
my blood pressure plumets and I feel very dizzy - but hey ho

Neeerly3 · 19/06/2008 09:31

I have low blood pressure too, did last time, have to be careful standing up.

Not sick yet, but only 5 wks at the mo.

Do you think they will offer you an early scan due to having twins before?

shabster · 19/06/2008 09:49

You are a fertile lot on here....xxxx

largeginandtonic · 19/06/2008 09:53

Morning all!

The scan was super quick, i was screen transfixed looking for two. I had expected to possibly have my nuchal fold as the midwife thought i may have 12 weeks so i handed over £10 to get the cd and pics. The scan took 3 mins and the baby looked like a giant kidney bean so the tenner was not worth it! Still cute to have for later i suppose. I have the nuchal on 5th July. DH will be away again >

I am starting to feel better, not so fug engulfed and not so sick. I ate a huge bag of pick and mix last night Sod it i though

Hope you lot start to feel better soon, ooogs will you be scanned at 12 weeks? Good god ehat if it is twins again? I had forgotten yours are fraternal!!! At least you have the double buggy already

Mars did she deliver last night or are you still there?

My friend phoned last night about 10 in major distress. She is 21 weeks pregnant with her 5th and had just passed 2 huge clots and lots of blood. I zoomed down to see it and got her to call the hospital. She had to go in and be scanned, the baby is fine but as i suspected she has a very low lying placenta. They have kept her in. I had her 2 girls this morning and took them to schol but i feel useless as dh is away a dn i cant really help. I want to go and see her, she must be so terrified, no kids on the wards though! Aahhh.

Shabs are you packing yet?

FG where are you?

shabster · 19/06/2008 10:05

Morning G&T

Hope your friend is ok - bet she was glad you could help her.

DH has been packed for about a month

I will get started - Im sure I will!!! Probably the day before we go.
