Hiya Tiggs - glad he likes them. Have sent two more similar parcels this morning!!! Will probably get more stuff from another friend who has two girls.

Funny you should say the Mormon thing Rubester - From the age of 5 till about 18 I and all my family attended the Mormon church. I cant tell you the ridicule I got at High school. The only Mormon amongst 1,200 pupils and one of the few council house kids!!! I was so greatful for the Osmonds - other kids would ask if they could come to church with me . Sometimes miss the friendship of all the people we have met - but after I lost the boys it seemed very meaningless. Still in touch with penpals in Utah after 45 years. Think I have joined the Devils gang over the last 20 years - its more fun anyway.

Right, bathed, shaved just trying to straighten my unruly locks. You may be pleased to know that I have my 'f**k off my name is Shabba head on.' Will report back if and when we cross the Greater Manchester border back into Lancashire

frumpygrumpy · 24/05/2008 20:35

Candle lit x.

TiggerTonkerTruck · 24/05/2008 21:19

LOL Ruby!!!

Go here:

Ruby can't do it

and click on the candle that is not lit. It will ask you to fill out your name. If it asks you what group, type in O.J.

i love you Rubes, just learn the way I do by banging every darn key on the keypad just the same as a hard bang (easy tiger) fixs all electrical appliences

triplets · 24/05/2008 22:03

JUST LIT MY CANDLE, MAY IT BURN BRIGHTLY FOR EVER MORE XXX

MerryMarigold · 24/05/2008 22:08

ooggs, before triplets we had a few names in mind. frankly, i always wanted 'marigold' (maggie for short) for a girl but dh firmly vetoed it! nothing firm or that i feel 100% about...

girls: erin, edith (edie), charis
boys: elliot, linden

we have an oliver.

I want names ending with a syllable (ie. not an 'a').

is shabs in faliraki then? hopefully its's better weather than we're in for the next 2 days. what about her 'emma'? isn't she due any minute?

TiggerTonkerTruck · 24/05/2008 22:12

Shabs is spending the night with the Osmonds
Just turn on the news tomorrow morning. I am sure there will be a full report of her antics!!!

triplets · 24/05/2008 22:20

Hi, ForgotShabs was out tonight, hope she is having a great time! She is a doll, she sent me 2 cd`s today she had made herself, all our fav songs! I have had a rotten day, H was coming home, all geared up for it, looking forward to it, then bang, everything had gone on for so long. I am dead beat, must get to bed, drank half a bottle of du vin rouge, eaten 2 pork and pickle pies and am knackered both mentally and physically .
Will have to go, cannot keep my eyes open, another day begins

Shabs

TiggerTonkerTruck · 24/05/2008 22:47

Night triplets, get some well earned rest.x.

shabster · 25/05/2008 00:07

Hiya girls - I am home. Swoon, swoon, The Osmonds rock!!

shabster · 25/05/2008 00:08

Alan, the eldest Osmond has MS. When they sang 'love me for a reason' he started off with a walking stick. Half way through the chorus started and he threw his walking stick away and did the dance with the rest of his brothers. I have shed a few tears tonight and sang until I am hoarse. What a wonderful night.

HarrogateMum · 25/05/2008 00:58

hey shabs - finally someone is up!! How were the Osmonds!!

MarsLady · 25/05/2008 01:50

Hello my gorgeous ones! Am just in from salsa.

My head is slowly getting better. I think I've lost my centre of gravity though. Need my whole head back I think.

Anyhoo... off to bed!

shabster · 25/05/2008 06:17

Morning girls. Nikos just woke me up!!! Not cause he is in my bed you understand!! Via Text. 'The swine.'

shabster · 25/05/2008 09:07

Think it is maybe a tad too early to start making Sunday dinner??

Everything is done - housework, ironing etc. I suppose I should thank Nikos for waking me so early Wonder why he felt it necessary to tell me he had just finished work at the hotel and was on his way home???????

frumpygrumpy · 25/05/2008 11:42

Because Shabs.....because.......its not long until your HOLIDAY!!!

Glad you had a great night, sounds fab! Bet not a dry eye in the house at the walking stick bit.

Neenztwinz · 25/05/2008 11:59

Thanks for all your messages of support/solidarity! DTs are now 19 days old and last night was quite a good night. I have been having two sleeps of 90mins to 2hrs each day which has set me up for the nights. My attitude is now 'I am not going to get any sleep so any sleep I do get is a bonus'.

DH is home every night and if it is really bad I can call on him at 2-3am if they are STILL not settled, and get him to take one or both babies for an hour or two so I can get some sleep. Obviously at the weekends I can call on him any time. I think we have both realised I can't do it on my own, unless they do both (miraculously) go down at the same time and I can get some sleep.

Last night was good: I sent DH off to sleep in our bedroom (I slept in the nursery) from 10pm and I tried (unsuccessfully) to settle the babies after their 10pm feed.

DH got up at 1.30am and took Theo - Esther settled and was asleep. He got him off to sleep downstairs by 2am and then slept on the sofa until 4am. Esther woke at 4am, so I'd got two hours sleep. I took her downstairs, fed and changed both babies and they both settled. But I then took them upstairs to the nursery and that unsettled Theo. I should have left them in the carrycot and gone to sleep on the sofa myself. But DH took Theo again then I got more sleep.

I know there will be more bad nights but having a half-decent night like last night makes me feel so much more positive. I am a happy mum of twins again today!!
