Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!

Lots of love Mrs Mel Gibson William Wallace

Morning me loves. You all ok?

shabster · 08/04/2008 07:21

Lewis is 31 weeks today! I am becoming a grandma bore of the highest quality!!!

Made me feel a bit sad after their midwife appointment on Friday. DS1 came to see us and was very upset. When I asked what was wrong he said 'the midwife guessed about Lewis' weight and, oh mum, she thinks he is about the same weight as my twin'. 'He's not due for nearly two months but he's around the same weight.'

He asked how I had coped. How did I get through it. Did I think it would happen to them. I got a bit school teacher like with him and gave him a telling off!!

Its a strange feeling when your firstborn, grown child has so many worries and fears.

I threatened to 'ground him' which made my baby laugh and he had a cuddle. he is 26, 5ft 10in and built like a rugby player. BUT...he still likes a cuddle.

Morning Momma - thank you - he is a wonderful human being - Im one lucky mum

tkband3 · 08/04/2008 09:35

Oh Shabby, your DS sounds like such a lovely man - he's going to make a wonderful daddy. You must be so proud of him.

Momma, just popping on to say the package is going in the post today...although I was tempted to deliver it personally at the weekend - very of your weekend with the Vice-Chair . I meant to put a note in it, but completely forgot ! Don't think I'm rude for just sending the pump . Hope it's all in working order.

Off out to enjoy the sunshine while it lasts - when is spring going to get here!

shabster · 08/04/2008 09:38

Thank you tk - we have been on a long journey together, through heartbreak and disappointment. Just shows that no matter how bad things get, and I know they can get bad - there is the proverbial 'light at the end of the tunnel.'

Now I will try to get my big head through the door and get some housework done

TiggerTots · 08/04/2008 10:11

Shabs you keep him in line Chick
Happy,happy,happiness all the way!!!!!!

Dont know of a greater feeling, Rubester, than to stand back and look at your grown children and think.....'I quite like you, you are doing well.' None of us know how to do this parent thing, we make mistakes (cause we are human) poo happens, we get mad, they get mad, sometimes it feels hopeless but......there does come a time when you feel so proud you could burst.

My DS1 and his DP are just ordinary, hard working, humourous, loving people who have been lucky enough to find each other. They are not wealthy (except with love) high flying career people, they are just ordinary. But how great to be ordinary

Now if you could just fix it for me Rubester to have a peep at how my Gareth and Matt are doing I would be very grateful

OMG, can't believe I have actually forgotten to congratulate Pixi on the arrival of the newest Master Pixi . I thought about doing it so often that I thought I had done it, but I've just checked back through the thread and I haven't. So congratulations Pixi . And I also can't believe you have already managed to post - you are amazing .

Day 2 of the holidays just about survived . Back to fat club tonight though for some inspiration - have already managed to put on about half a stone since the wedding and will have shot up a stone by the end of the hols if I don't do something about it now .
