civil service, 16 hours, over 3 days - flexi time - so nothing major but would just be easier if madam would cooperate

frumpygrumpy · 26/03/2008 13:33

Ooogs, you are bound to need a new outfit and shoes to ease you back into the harsh world of paid employment i would think......

Rubester just re read your earlier thread. DS has a contract with Cambridge United - WOW and OMG - that is wonderful

I used to work with Ryan Giggs' mum at our local childrens hospital. She used to say how Manchester United were watching him but she couldn't see what all the fuss was about - she thought he was just an average footballer

shabster · 26/03/2008 14:07

Also 'useless fact of the day' - you would never think that Ryan Giggs dad was West Indian would you? Mind you his mum is a blonde with blue eyes. Just wait until I am on 'millionaire' and the 1,000,000 squid question is about Ryans parentage

shabster · 26/03/2008 15:27

Must admit that Tomster loves me reading Enid Blyton books to him - but please dont tell his streetwise mates We have to change some of the names tho - Richard and Flossy!! He just pulls the sheets up over his face and giggles if I say the actual names.

OMG he will be eaten alive at High School!! He is an excellent reader but does love me reading to him.

TiggerToTheMax · 26/03/2008 15:29

Shabs I read it to my three and I was sniggering behind the book the whole way through especially when Dick was a naughty boy and got a good spanking

shabster · 26/03/2008 15:41

Tomster spends his whole time saying things like 'Fancy them being allowed to play out without their mums being with them' 'You think someone would miss them when they get stuck in lands at the top of the tree' he ends up almost having panic attacks - awwww bless the little bugger lad.

TiggerToTheMax · 26/03/2008 16:08

Awwwwwwwwwwww...thats so lovely...unlike my mucky mind at that age

shabster · 26/03/2008 19:46
