There seem to be a lot of expectant twin mums around at the moment - I thought you deserved a thread of your own !

My id twin boys are 4.5 - but I can still remember what it was like . Maybe some of us old hands can answer some of your concerns and questions.

congrats yardette very pleased for you, same as ladlemonke and you I'm expectin twins due 12th feb, The questions start from people findin out your havin twins and as we've heard just carry on lol
I've had things like how will you cope with DS and the twins when they come " I shall just sit in a corner and rock!" what excatly do they want you to say. Also I bet your hubbys gonna get done now (but then I do already have 3 youngest nearly 8mnths) I just say nope I'm going to chop his dick off, normally stops them in their tracks lol
I am gettin use to the idea of twins whilst it did put the fear of god into me at first I think its a truly amazin thing to be carry 2 babies, anyone carryin more than that I think I would bow down to them

Hi Expecting Kat and Ladlemonk and thanks to all of you for your support and congratulations!
Still getting used to the idea. When I get scared, I keep myself going with the thought of two little faces in their bouncy chairs, or two little faces peering over the end of the bed...

Ladlemonk: The book I mentioned with the quote is really good (I think anyway)its by Dr Carol Cooper and its called Twins & Multiple Births. It covers multiples pregnancies, labour, the first years, plus topics on individuality, adolescence, the school years. I'm finding it fascinating.

Have good days all and see on you this and the other d'ya ever thread...

i had mine at 33.5. my little one had stopped feeding both were fine spent 4 weeks in neonatal unit. bought one home first had 2 weeks practice before fun started and both home. my first year i have been caught in some funny positions mainly when i was breastfeeding both and the 3 of us were asleep on the bed. it is hard work but so rewarding my girls are 16 months now they chase each other round laughing-sometimes screaming but it is so nice to watch. Have fun enjoy them. xx
