It’s so hard naming one baby let alone 2. Please fire some twin girls names at me... go!

We had a long shortlist.

Then we chose one first name and one middle name each on the morning after they were born, because they needed to put them on the computer.

It is good to have your own name that is complete in itself, and not one that is half of a set/puzzle.

I have Haver and Jersey
But we also had as choices:
Esmae and Henrietta
Faith and Ella
Mollie and phoebe
And Luna and Leia

I love the name Mabel haha even though I know it sounds like an old lady's name, I think it is super cute! I also have a friend called Caris and think that's a lovely name.

littlebillie · 10/01/2018 16:12

Think about how it will be shouting it across a playground and introducing them as children. Baby names to adult can be difficult

Charys doesn't mean anything in Welsh. It isn't a Welsh name. Carys is.

Welsh is phonetic and Ch is pronounced like the "ch" in Scottish loch.
Please check before making incorrect announcements about Welsh names.

Congratulations OP ThanksThanks

Jemima and Henrietta
Esme and Sadie
Katie and Mollie
Anna and Lucy
Robyn and Harper
Freya and Lucia.

Please don't match them. My opinion is that it's tacky. I've got twin boys and their names are completely unrelated, just two names DH and I liked.

Can I just say (as one of twin girls), as well as not choosing 'matchy' names - although Benson and Hedges are kind of cute Smile, try to choose names which are of equalish elegance and length. I have one of the dullest, frumpiest names in the English language, whilst my sister has a much longer and elegant name.

I quite like Maddox, Piper and Karis. All two syllables, twins have same no of letters and similarly unusual

littlebillie · 10/01/2018 22:48

Love Esme and Sadie they sound like interesting grown ups.

summermeadows · 11/01/2018 12:22

littlebillie, Esme and Sadie are 2 of my favourite names for a girl but no girl's name's were needed as we had 5 boys Smile

summermeadows · 11/01/2018 12:47
