This keeps getting talked about but never happened, so here is a shiny new thread to try to get something organised. sign up with names and locations to start with then maybe we can talk about dates.

Kelly1978 · 03/04/2007 16:44

I have no idea yet, I think I'd rather go without mine!

dingdongjustforyoufg · 03/04/2007 16:48

Kelly1978 · 03/04/2007 16:55

I am interested in a meet up, I am in Cardiff, South Wales

piximon · 03/04/2007 17:28

I'd love to meet more of you. I'm in London at the moment. Prob in or around Maidenhead come Sept.
No problem bringing some of mine, the real fun begins when I have all four.
If it's going to be before I move I can offer the use of a sofa bed.

If we're bringing children should we be thinking some sort of park type place?
Only Greenwich Park is lovely, historical, has activities urmm (and is close to me lol)

Kelly1978 · 03/04/2007 17:30

I've never been to greenwich park, kept meaning to while I was more local, I've heard it is nice.

Harrogatemum · 03/04/2007 19:02

very interested - I am in the middle of the Highlands.

ONly joking - I am in Harrogate, incase you hadnt guessed......and ladies I will have you know it is pretty much in the middle of the country north/south and east/west!!

Not that I'm angling to have it round here or anything.........and am up for debate on whether to bring kids or not......

dingdongjustforyoufg · 03/04/2007 19:47

here's a suggestion...bring kids and DHs then we get to meet all the little lovelies, but DHs can babysit whilst we hit the town

Kelly1978 · 03/04/2007 20:02

harrogate is up in the wilderness! I'm jsut wondering about those mums right down south, hm. I even wondered if somewhere sort of north of london leceister way might be more middling.

tkband3 · 03/04/2007 21:55

I'm definitely up for a meet-up. I'm in North London, not that far from Marslady. Happy to offer a sofa-bed if required. Quite like the idea of getting all the DTs together as well but am easy either way .

piximon · 03/04/2007 23:08

Kelly think I am living your life but delayed by a couple of years. Moving from SE London to Berkshire, four kids more or less two years apart and twins to boot, only the sexes are different. Been thinking of going back to OU as well. LOL

Kelly1978 · 04/04/2007 09:15

ooh thats freaky!

Whereabouts in berks are you moving to?

OP posts:
MarsLady · 04/04/2007 09:25

Hang on............. how'd I miss this??????????????

Let me read what you've written. lol

MarsLady · 04/04/2007 09:27

Well you know where I am! N London happy to come with or without the wee beasts! Though I like Dingdong's idea. We bring OHs and meet the wee beasties then hit the town alone!

Where would you like to meet?

Oh FGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kelly1978 · 04/04/2007 09:31

Not sure if my dp will come, will go and ask him.

would love to meet up, im in Portsmouth most of the time apart from right now im in Plymouth. Bring all the children.... There will be six by then. They would love it though. Imagine all those twins together!!!

Quite happy to travel a bit, not brave enough to bring them all in to London though. If it was just the baby i might brave the train.

devondoris · 05/04/2007 08:50

Ooooh, ooooh, oooooh! Yes would luuuuurrrvve to meet up, only I'm in Devon (surprisingly!). London easy due to in laws and lots of friends knocking around there.

My only point about having all children with us is that as we all have twins there aren't any spare parents to do cuddles for the little ones. This is the main reason I go out at the moment... I often find I actually don't have to hold a baby at all, which is grrrrreat! Actually quite happy to bring the DCs really. DH definitely won't do it cos he's an unsociable old bugger.

Oh, and hello everyone! Hope you're all well. Just finished lots of horrid work and now I have to do my accounts but once I've done that I'll come and say hello properly and catch up on all the doings!

LG&T - mail me - [email protected].

Must go, have a howler and a lawn to mow...

Kelly1978 · 05/04/2007 16:49

kelly Ascot
overun Cardiff
Piximom South London
Harrogate mum Harrogate(!)
TKband3 North London
Marslady North London
Largegin Portsmouth
Devondoris Devon somewhere!
Steve Somewhere in the highlands, presumed missing

Most of us seem to be in the bottom half of the country (sorry hm!) so it'd prob be easier to arrange a meetup down south, unless some more northerners are interested?
]How do we fancy trying to arrange something for the summer holidays or the next half term? If mums need to travel it's prob going to be easier to arrange it out of school times.
I'm actually off for a week starting tomorrow, so I expect this to be fully sorted upon my return

I'm in London for Hampton Court Flower Show with babysitting facilities. Think that's the week of 3-8 July. Have a Vovlo so it's a bit heavy on the fuel which means I can't do too many trips a year... Is that a good time for anyone else???

triplets · 05/04/2007 22:11

Sounds good to me, I`m down by the seaside in Kent, would be happy to come to Durham though my brother lives up there!
