I've just found out that a friend is expecting triplets! She is 17 weeks pregnant.

Has anyone on mumsnet got any experience?

Haven't seen Tessiebear on here for a while, although I am meant to be catching up with her in person next week. We will have to arrange something.

She is fine, looking good in fact! Yes we three must get together, that would be nice.

Pinkchampagne · 23/11/2006 20:44

Sounds good, triplets! I will speak to TB about it next week when I see her.

My friend seems to be doing well. She has had two miscarriages this year and then this pregnancy, all natural. They don't have any other children. She is a very organised person but I still can't imagine what it will be like for her.

Did you buy a buggy for all three of them and if so where did you get it from?

Hi everyone
Hope you dont mind me butting in. I'm a Romford SAH mum to nearly 2 1/2 old G,G,B Triplets. Its hard work like any children are but with organisation i'm loving it. We've had three different triple prams in past but now got the maclaren twin pram as they are bigger now and like walking and also take it in turns going to pre-school so twin pram is easier.

I've just heard some very sad news. My friend went into labour last night and tragically delivered all three babies at 20 weeks.

I can't imagine what she is going through. She has now lost 5 babies in a year .

dingdonglapinroseonhigh · 05/12/2006 22:14

Oh God ladidadi your poor friend, I cannot imagine what it must be like to go through anything even close to that

triplets · 05/12/2006 22:27

Oh I am so very sorry............how very cruel life is, poor poor girl, please tell her if she needs to talk I am here. I lost my first born son in 1994, he was 14, my then only child, the pain is with me to this day. I feel very sad reading this. xxx

whatwouldjesusdo · 05/12/2006 22:49

Oh no, what a terrible thing to happen. Cannot think of anything helpful to say, but am praying for them all.

Thanks for your responses. I just can't get my friend and her babies out of my mind. It makes me feel so lucky to have my dd.

FrumpytheGrumpyreindeer · 06/12/2006 12:31
