am looking for more but so far no luck

GeorginaA · 24/06/2005 19:26

um, nemo - I did a rightmove search on Liverpool earlier and there was 2 pages of properties in the 60-70k mark. Admittedly I don't know the area at all well and they may be dire areas, but none of them were burnt out shells.

Really, we're trying to think positively in the worst case scenario that essbee does need to move away and start fresh, and see realistically what she can expect and what areas might be good to focus her search. Please don't exaggerate this and make it into a competition into the worst property you can find in your area - it's so unfair considering the circumstances

Nemo1977 · 24/06/2005 19:27

esbee can understand that
where r u? or where do u want to go?

Nemo1977 · 24/06/2005 19:29

aloha · 24/06/2005 19:30

GeorginaA - not everyone is aware of essbee's situation - I wasn't until a couple of threads ago - so I don't think that any of these posts were being deliberately cruel, they were just answering the question posed.

aloha · 24/06/2005 19:32

if you don't mind saying, how much equity & motgage is there atm?

GeorginaA · 24/06/2005 19:34

Fair enough, was erring on the over-protective side, I admit.

Janh · 24/06/2005 19:36

This is 15 mins from us, essbee - we have friends who have lived in this road forever - it's not good, but not bad either. (No garden...you can get ex-local authority with a garden in Acc but not sure you'd want to!)

However like the others I'm not convinced AH can get away with doing what he wants - remember Twinkie's divorce? Dig your heels in, he has to do what's best for the kids, go to CAB if your solicitor's office is useless.

Nemo1977 · 24/06/2005 19:37

jan must be good they have left car outisde with no roof and its still there...rare in liverpool..pmsl

Janh · 24/06/2005 19:38

(Friends put a 3rd bedroom in the roof and their bathroom is huge, the same size as the kitchen).

Janh · 24/06/2005 19:38

That'll be the estate agent's car, Nemo - in the viewfinder at all times!

Nemo1977 · 24/06/2005 19:40

3esbee i would check with solicitor or citizens advice though as im near 90% sure ex sh*t cant do that

Nemo1977 · 24/06/2005 19:41

mm maybe he likes his car a lot then jan..lol

bubblerock · 24/06/2005 19:46

Here you go Essbee £22,000 with 3 beds fully furnished & by the seaside, loads to keep the kids busy too
HERE

You could invest the other £50,000, buy a house when you're ready and rent out the other one - no probs

Aragon · 24/06/2005 19:55

My God - that place is quite big.

Doesn't it depend on the park and what planning permission they have? (seem to remember the one near my mum's which is a park & caravan site is only allowed to be occupied certain months of the year)

Janh · 24/06/2005 19:59

Yes, you can, essbee.

(Well it depends if the park is intended that way but it's possible.)
