I'm struggling with money as I've just started my own business but she gave me some money to help get stuff for me and my son like she does every month she takes half of it away witch makes me struggle and I end up feeling like I have to spend all my money when I get it just so she won't use it thing is she doesn't even ask she just takes it and then I end up struggling to even look after my son,

Hi I was also a teen when I had my baby. Short term do you have food for you and the baby and Nappies? Does the child benefit go to you?

Long term ask dad to help you contact your school or college to return to study. I did similar it’s definitely worth it x

I don't really get an income I'm under 16 so not many jobs really

I’m sorry, I knew you was young but didn’t realise under 16. Your mum should be able to claim for your child and give it to you - if you trust her to do that. Maybe citizens advice can help you with alternative options, not sure what they would be. I’m sorry it is this difficult for you

She would not get rehoused anytime soon.... so it was a thought for OP to plan ahead. It doesnt sound quite right.

Are you claiming UC @Brodiemummy

As she is under 21 and living amd being supported by her parents she won't be able to claim UC but her parents can claim for her and for the baby. It might be that which she means in her post
