Yes, I discovered it about a month ago and I really like it. I earned about £20 over Christmas on various ‘big shops’ etc and I’ve already withdrawn it and paid it into the mortgage account. You can add credit/buy vouchers at the till and it usually takes a minute or two. I now tend to buy them in advance. But yes, never had any issues with the app and I like how simply it’s designed.

tryinghi778 · 14/01/2026 08:45

Thanks so much I’m hoping to give it a try

I use the principle (have done for years) myself, without using the app.

I find & use the best discounts, cashback, vouchers etc and immediately overpay my mortgage or transfer to savings.

@IdrisElbow I'm just signing up, please can you share your referral code?

I love it too. My code here. I think you get a fiver with it: I1CZVT0D

LondonCheesecake · 16/01/2026 06:53

I signed up but get much better rates with Jam Doughnut and EverUp- I have referral codes for both if any is interested. The difference is with Sprive the saving goes towards your mortgage, with Jam Doughnut and EverUp you get them money now so need to pay it towards the mortgage yourself. I normally wait until I have £100, cash out and pay mortgage. It adds up really quickly

I need to ask a dim question, please?!

How do the cash back companies make money from this?

My guess is that Sprive (and companies like it) spend money on social media advertising to get people like me to sign up. They’ll get a commission every time someone spends at a retailer through their site.

yoursweetpotatoesarebland · 24/01/2026 00:03

i thought the cash back rates were a bit misleading. It states it’s 11% or whatever but that’s the equivalent when you’ve calculated the reduction in mortgage interest charged. The actual cash back rate is like 2.5% - lower than top cash back and my employer rewards cash back scheme

Sprive owner/founder was on Dragons Den tonight.
He got 3 Dragons to invest/back him.

Naomixoxo · 06/02/2026 17:15

I've had Sprive for the last 6 months and it's brilliant. I've already knocked a lot of interest off my mortgage.

If anyone was wants a code here is one - H67PEQJS

Sprive referral code: WWM8EG91

I’ve just signed up using someone else’s code. Would be lovely if someone used mine. Absolutely great concept.

Coldiron · 07/02/2026 13:26

I stopped using Sprive after getting my fingers burned with a return. Wayfair failed to deliver the item and I could only get a wayfair voucher back which was of no use to me.

I now have a lloyds 1% cashback credit card and every time I spend on it I put money from my current account into an instant access savings account. I’m getting 1% back on everything including fuel and aldi shops and also earning interest on the funds until my bill comes in.

Just another option to consider

Thank you for that. Will bear it in mind and stick to supermarket shopping to start with as that should be fairly safe. 🤞

tryinghi778 · 22/02/2026 12:03

Hey, I've been using Sprive to save £££s on my mortgage just by doing my everyday shopping.

They were recently on Dragons Den, and did really well. Sign up with my code JM3PJBV0, get Sprive Plus for free, and be in with a chance to win your next mortgage payment.

Honestly it’s super easy when you get use to the app and it soon apps up.

Here is my referral code: H67PEQJS

You’ll get Sprive plus which means you earn more money.

hashtaghooray · 22/02/2026 14:20

What is this? Please explain

Addictedtobeauty · 22/02/2026 15:21

hashtaghooray · 22/02/2026 14:20

What is this? Please explain

It’s a cashback site, like Quidco, TCB etc but it can link to your mortgage so instead of taking a payout in vouchers or to your bank account, it can go straight to your mortgage. This makes overpaying small amounts really easy.

Daydreamsz · 23/02/2026 19:36

Also if you sign up before the beginning of March and buy one £50 voucher there is a competition to win your mortgage for a month.
