I wonder whether Yawn ever talks to someone on a ‘complimentary 30 minute call’ and says actually your idea for a business isn’t going to make you any money.

I also wonder if any complimentary calls ever convert into paying customers? I doubt it, hence the need to attach to others with slightly more concrete offerings. It’s a very bad time to launch anything when their small audience is likely to be dealing with school holidays and shelving their fledgling biz idea for the next few weeks (assuming their audience is mainly MLM/ex MLM). By the time people are focussing again after the summer this collaboration of experts will probably have got bored/fallen out/come to their senses about the value of it.

I would love someone to do a 30 min call and ask her about GDPR etc

I honestly think yawn is just plain vain - and the biggest buzz she gets is constant photoshoots etc -and short of being a model or an actress etc not many jobs are going to involve dressing up , making up and being photographed ! I no longer think it’s actually even about money- more just an ego boost

Excellent point - without the opportunity to get glammed up and have photos taken I think she’d struggle

@Spongebobette I honestly believe that’s what it’s about these days- somewhere in there isa plain Jane who got glam and needs others to see that !! if it came down to money then she isn’t that daft that she knows a standard job would probably pay better. If I was her H I would honestly find it tedious too

@cheeseomelette ‘Primark milkmaid’ - lol- that’s a good description - I agree I shouldn’t be fascinated, but I kind of am . Thing is I would be more impressed if she actually put up a bit of actual content related to business - ‘let’s look at price differential’ or ‘making sure you price correct factoring in postal costs’ or something as boring as that - rather than endless pics of wafting round fields being empowering - itsall a bit like a timotei shampoo advert circa 1988 - what she is relying on is the ‘you too can be me’ - which only really appeals to other good looking and pretty shallow people

I’ve been looking at the legal eagles’ posts about privacy etc on their FB page. It’s all a bit bot style but some sensible pointers which the average bot won’t have considered. The only trouble the legal pair have got is that at least one of their BuildaBot collaborators is failing to do what they say is necessary (whether it’s clear policies, GDPR, ICO registration, insurance etc etc). It makes me wonder what sort of legal expertise is on offer if they’ve failed to do any due diligence on the quality of their collaborators. That website you mention @Spongebobetteis woeful, every link to policies goes nowhere.

It’s now a month since both Boring Names stopped posting on social media because Mr was hacked (or he claims). Mrs BN wasn’t hacked so why isn’t she keeping their bizniz in people’s SM feeds? Can it really take a month to sort out being hacked when your social media presence is so important or has something else happened? I’d love to know!
