botwatch 82!! The latest thread in a very long series about the deceptions practised by mlms. Unbelievably people are still being hooked in by these schemes where 97 of those who join lose money?

A Greek David Brent? What might he be called I wonder?

Mr Skamolotobots!

YouOKHun · 01/05/2024 23:21

David Brentopoulos

BSintolerant · 01/05/2024 23:29

@YouOKHun 🤣🤣

DeliaDeetz · 01/05/2024 23:48

The monkey see, monkey do vibe is definitely strong at the moment.
Scotbot, headband and Uber have all recently done the "make up free at X age" post, obviously meant to show how wonderful their collagen/skin care products are!

It's also no coincidence that Uber posted a pic of her daughters hair the other day.
There is a post on UK FBO Facebook page with info for May and funnily enough the haircare stuff is amongst the products they are being encouraged to shift!

299 euro for a new starter box in Ireland. Now I'm no mathematical genius but didn't it used to be £199? That's a huge increase

Twentytwentyhindsight · 02/05/2024 09:10

@DeliaDeetz yes Mr Scamopoulos is trying very hard to get them doing synchronised botting, can't see how it's going to help FLP UK not go down the pan, but at least it keeps the bots too busy to realise.

@Sugarplum48 I seem to remember that the 'biznis in a box' being priced at £200 in the UK was due to some regulatory upper limit for 'pay to play' schemes, perhaps someone knows more?

Spongebobette · 02/05/2024 09:21

Yes I thought they had to keep any starter kit under £200

YouOKHun · 02/05/2024 09:40

@Spongebobette that’s what I thought too. In fact I thought it was less than that. I remember Younique charging just under the allowed amount which was something like £69 but I might be misremembering. I saw a picture of the new Bankruptcy in a Box (skincare) and it’s a feeble looking thing padded out with cheap as chips glossy literature which costs FLP almost nothing.

Spongebobette · 02/05/2024 09:41

Imagine the sheer ENERGY it takes to show all that excitement and enthusiasm.

YouOKHun · 02/05/2024 09:47

Just having a look and at first glance it seems £200 is the limit. I briefly went onto the DSA website and I see Mr Scamalopoulos is now on the Board. How very telling that a man who spends his waking hours pushing endless recruitment and internal sales should be a suitable representative of the “direct selling” Association.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 02/05/2024 09:48

Well, you don't much more 'direct selling' than being your own best customer...

YouOKHun · 02/05/2024 10:00

True! @Twentytwentyhindsight. The DSA UK has said goodbye to the previous Chairperson (the one who didn’t know what MLM was). They’ve also said goodbye to Twitter which is a shame because FB and Insta are echo chambers where deletion of anything “negative” is possible. They will likely blame Elon Musk but it’s probably a strategic move rather in the style of Hermes couriers who quit Twitter due to the public backlash they couldn’t control.

Sugarplum48 · 02/05/2024 11:37

My mistake, its 299 euro in Ireland and £199 here. Apparently CM is massively pushing the new kit

Spongebobette · 02/05/2024 12:56

It’s hilarious the way the bots are all complimenting each other on their ‘great skin’ photos

its all so fake - the comments are all from fellow bots so what’s the point?

Someone should comment saying it would be believed if you didn't all know each other 🤣🤣🤣 and is it me but l literally can't stand the sound of headbands voice. It's like rusty nails being filed.

I find Uber just monotonous. She's not the most motivational speaker I've ever heard!

PieonaBarm · 02/05/2024 15:25

No Yawn it's not the collagen that's stopped your joints aching it's the five stone weight loss.

Spongebobette · 02/05/2024 15:32

She’s lost 9 stone, hasn’t she??

OP posts:
PieonaBarm · 02/05/2024 15:40

Tbh I've lost count. I did think it was 763 stone at her last count but didn't want to do her an injustice

DeliaDeetz · 02/05/2024 16:17

Did Yawn lose weight?! She's never mentioned it....much! 😂😂

Oh, I wanted to say that but thought it might be uncharitable.
Headband, your voice is utterly tedious

OhMyGiddyAunt · 02/05/2024 16:59

Must be a very special time for FL because they've been allowed indoors rather than the tent.

Did Yawns invite to HQ get lost in the post though?

Angrymum22 · 03/05/2024 00:44

I was a little baffled by the sudden upturn in attendance at HQ on Wednesday. But there was mention of invites by some bots. If you send out enough invites to a champagne soirée to gullible bots then attendance may be sufficient to fill the smallish room inside. Note the company photographer is probably degree level in filters and optical illusions.
The tent has either had to go back/ was wrecked in one of the recent storms/ is now too big to fill with gullible mugs.

Sunsea21 · 03/05/2024 06:46

I’m so cross. A lovely friend of mine has been through the worst time recently, both of her parents died within a couple of months of each other and both deaths were unexpected. She then also had a miscarriage. She has understandably been really struggling. She posted on Facebook yesterday about how she was starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, the reason…. Some scummy ba**ard had recruited her into tropic 😡🤬😡🤬
I can’t stand how these mlm huns swoop in on those who are so vulnerable
