The absolute lack of any pretence of coherence or sense in Scamversity's 'promotional materials' is really doing my nut. We've had such shite as 'unfiltered transparency' and the like, now they're 'the first & biggest online freshers week ever' - surely if they're the first, they are also the smallest, the most average, the shitest, the least shit, etc.
(Quite apart from the fact that during lockdown many REAL universities, with far more students than C&F's totally ridiculous claim of 1,300 held genuine online freshers' weeks).
Going back to their claim of '1,300', the Closed 'campus community' FB group boasts less than half that number, with a very large proportion being 'insiders' and plants...
Fierce is probably busy planning her exit strategy while Castle desperately tries to drum up the numbers required to save her bacon (which we know won't come).
The next few weeks/couple of months will be messy. I, for one, will be enjoying it.

They really are an absolute joke

The world’s biggest online Freshers Week is just another indication of how little they know about real higher education establishments.

Some of the biggest, most prestigious universities in the world did online Freshers due to covid. All of them had many thousands of students.

Also they don’t seem to realise university terms are different to school terms so are out of kilter there.

How on earth are they going to sustain this - they have so little content.

Fierce’s comments about £60k in 6 weeks also sounds impressive but for someone with multiple 6 figure income streams and selling herself as a 7 figure coach that should be about an average week.

It’s all a big, stinking pile of BS.

@Meem321 Flamingo Paperie used to be Phoenix Trading, lots of people lost money when PT went out of business. On BBC Sounds there is a Woman’s Hour interview (3 June 2020) with a Flamingo Hun who has absolutely been tricked and who proudly says something along the lines of “I’ve made back my initial investment in 10 short months and soon I’ll be in profit” (initial investment c£200), which doesn’t sound great does it?! Also on that interview is the director general of the “Direct Selling” Association and Talented Ladies Club Hannah who does a sterling job of correcting the director general of the DSA’s fundamental misunderstandings of what Pyramid schemes are. Scamversity’s spammy emails are landing in my special shite receiving inbox with increasing regularity. They reek of increasing desperation. They know that “pre-launch” is the best chance they’ve got to recruit and now that time is up. Today is as good as it gets for Scamversity. @Twentytwentyhindsight you're absolutely right that Fierce has other options. I notice she’s has two FB profiles on the go and other ‘coaching” endeavours. But Castle? She’s backed herself into a corner; she must be panicking and turning her parents upside down and giving them a shake to see if there is any money left in their pockets.

I hate to see anyone being scammed but watching Castle being scammed by Fierce is interesting.

Fierce seems to have endless energy for this and would have been the snake oil salesman in the old travelling shows.

Castle briefly got lucky in FL - the planner business was only ever another arm of FL, whilst she was the show pony.

This will play out in it’s own time but I suspect Castle will be fucked and Fierce will breeze on to the next thing.

PT used to be one of the better ones... most of the income for most traders really did come from product sales. And cards and wrap aren't some bs pseudo scientific weight loss mumbo jumbo, they are something most of the population use. It was never going to create a full time income but it was feasible to generate a useful extra.

No idea if its new incarnation is better or worse. Anyone know why PT did go belly up? I was surprised when I heard it had.

Sounds like Castle must be bricking it. How are they going to disguise the low uptake?

I think PT went into administration in 2017 (I think) having overstretched itself by trying to launch in the US which was expensive and it just didn’t take off there.

Fierce talked about moving too closer to the sea. I’ve stayed in a place like hers in Spain, there is very little inland where she is but closer to the sea is so much more expensive.

I think castle pinned her hopes on getting a 1000 plus signing up. Has she gone quiet about the Air BNB? I bet fierce had a word with her about that, doesn’t look good when you are flogging courses on the back of being a multi millionaire but telling everyone you are living in a motor home at the weekend while you let your house out lol.

Well perhaps more signed up, but were too busy working their other revenue streams ie jobs to listen in live.
