I thought that with Brexit you now have to jump hoops to live there.
Some countries require proof of income.
Will the children go to school?

Spongebobette · 20/06/2021 20:41

Actually what strikes me most is that it looks like a parody account !

JaniceBattersby · 21/06/2021 00:09

Thanks for the Arbonne hun info. I think Arbonne are up there with the worst of the worst

LoopyGremlin · 21/06/2021 13:17

Just binge watching this week’s Coronation Street while I’m in isolation and the MLM story is coming to a climax. Really hope some people like nurse are able to recognise themselves as the victims of a con.

SSDGM · 21/06/2021 14:43

Had a quick look into Homeschool’s new scam and it is 100% a shitcoin ponzi. The irony of a bankrupt person giving financial fucking advice is not lost on me. I don’t know how she sleeps at night. Oz has a couple of articles about it on Behind MLM going back to last spring that prove it a massive con.

fromdownwest · 21/06/2021 15:14

The homeschool coin is just riding the wave of Crypto fever.
I follow some excellent Crytpo narrators on Youtube with next level understaning of the sector and markets.
The first two minutes of everyone of his videos are 'This is not advice, investing is not for the faint hearted, you could lose it all etc'
Then he moves onto his analysis.

I am noty sure how her promoting this is not classed as financial advice.

Someone buying too much aloe gloop is very different to someone actually losing cold hard cash.

If I were her, I would be very weary of any form of advice, as if it does go belly up, people will come a knocking.

VolcanicEruption · 21/06/2021 15:39

See Castles recent post re DPD drivers. Has Mr Castle finished doing his printing duties?
I thought huns didn’t believe in real jobs.

I would have thought that a slogan such as Level Up would have some trade mark attached to it?

The owners are the same fuckers behind Lifetree World...
BSintolerant · 21/06/2021 20:56

She could always add “Multi” to the Level Up slogan if she gets a threatening letter from an IP lawyer.

I wonder if she’s been studying at the Only Fools and Horses school of marketing and is taking her chances? Remember those “Free Nelson Mandela” T-shirts Del Boy couldn’t sell purely because that particular ship had long since sailed? He altered them to read “He’s free is Nelson Mandela.” Grin

VolcanicEruption · 22/06/2021 09:42

DPD have the usual paid holidays/ pension etc. They also have a recommend a friend with incentives. Another angle to use friends as an ATM although they don’t stump up directly .
Methinks the usual FL bots are getting desperate .

Spongebobette · 22/06/2021 11:01

Yawn is full on gaslighting

Don’t worry if friends and family won’t support you

Step out of your comfort zone

You need to be mentored by someone who is out of your league

Spongebobette · 22/06/2021 11:19

And how about this for a big fat lie

Why attack Castle for pursuing a non-MLM related activity? I would have thought selling T-shirt’s is preferable to Useless MLM products?

Mankyfruitbowl · 22/06/2021 13:03

Avid lurker here, currently agog at the Ibiza Arbonne hun! I've noticed a new MLM pop up on my insta, Cabi Clothing. Has anyone heard of it? Seems a bit like the old Stella and Dot model of "Stylists" holding parties to flog you stuff. Their website talks about "career opportunities" so it has mlm written all over it. The clothes look very expensive for what they are...

fromdownwest · 22/06/2021 14:37

@FranceTeam - This is a fair point, however, the basis of her market are the MLM bots. They will purchase items to curry favour with their mentors, once again, being taken advantage of.

Spongebobette · 22/06/2021 14:39

Yes, the MLM is the funnel for this business and it could not exist without it

FranceTeam · 22/06/2021 15:15

True, but at least people can decide for themselves what they want to buy and will have something with a more tangible use than aloe Vera shite.

And you will be covered by distance selling regulations if you change your mind on the purchase

VolcanicEruption · 22/06/2021 15:59

BBC headline cardboard in people’s garages causing shortage 🤣📦📦

Sleaze has been a property investor just 5 minutes and already has two deals going through (any idea what the scam is)... no sign of the Government being brought down with Coco though.

YouokHun · 22/06/2021 23:31

@Mankyfruitbowl yes Cabi got itself some fairly extensive promotion in the Sunday Times a couple of years ago. I had a good old whinge to the hack in question, turns out she was promoting a mate’s business. It seemed to be the preserve of the older Hun with a bit more money available to prop up her clothing biz.

I have a friend who made a series of podcasts about older female entrepreneurs and had a Cabi women all lined up to speak about starting “her” business. I pointed out it was MLM and boy did she get aggressive about it! Completely went berserk that I’d accused her of not being a true business pioneer and the real deal entrepreneur. A bit like Yawn and her aggressive repelling of reasonable criticism, only the Cabi lady had a touch more class (only a touch).

These clothing MLMs seem pretty obscure, Captain Tortue is another one (or Captain Torture as I always read it).

Shhhhh223 · 23/06/2021 09:20

@grumpytoddler1 yes we need to add the Arbonne huns! I think they have been going under the radar on this chat. I live near a NVP and see what they are getting up to. Arbonne is particularly cultish, they seem to think they are a superior mlm. The one you mentioned needs a code name! Also as the talented ladies club mentioned something strange has been going on with Uk Arbonnes accounts

Mankyfruitbowl · 23/06/2021 09:37

Oh that's interesting about Cabi @YouokHun. It's always infuriating when an MLM gets an air of legitimacy by being featured in a mainstream publication. Clothing ones are funny aren't they? As clothing choices are so personal you aren't going to get many repeat buyers surely?

I wonder if stylists need to have stock on hand - that must be pretty pricey. Reminds me of Lularoe reps in the US with garages full of tacky leggings Sad
