What is Recurring Revenue and is it anything to do with MLMs?
I have briefly googled it but it still didn't really make sense other than it's some sort of alleged passive income.

Roomie has just posted a link to her Recurring Revenue coach and I'm getting those scammy vibes about it.

The coach's website has such gems as "gotta love recurring revenue - I just received £130 whilst having a back massage" and it also has an "Earnings Disclaimer" at the bottom of the page.

MarchXX · 01/06/2021 17:20

@CompleteBarstool, oooh I have recurring revenue - from my J.O.B. every blooming month actually, and it'll soon be turning into recurring pension Grin.

Malin52 · 01/06/2021 19:56

Just noticed that Nurses only downline hasn't posted anything in her bizniss page for two weeks and nothing FL related since 5th may. She never did her promised C9 either. She was a one a day poster for sometime.

It's not rosy in the world if nurse us it?

It's a term I've generally seen in relation to coaches (coaching coaches). I think it's when you set up some sort of online course or group that people pay to join but once you've set up the content, you don't have to do work on it every day (disclaimer: I have never signed up for a free course so might be wrong on this!). The term often appears in conjunction with lead magnets, and sales funnels, and evergreen something or other (I get a lot of FB ads for coaches!)

The coach you have come across works with the FL rep who went into assisted publishing and seems to have found herself a good business niche there - I imagine that is the link to Roomie as she published with said ex-FL rep.

CompleteBarstool · 02/06/2021 07:32

Aaah OK, thank you.

There just seems to be a constant stream of MLM off-shoot "businesses" and I don't trust a single one of them.

They must just see wannabe bots desperation to succeed and be part of something so tap into it with their coaching, publishing, planner/tacky hoodie businesses to fleece them a bit more.

I find the coaches harder to understand than MLMs. I struggle to work out exactly what they are selling (without signing up to intro courses) or how to judge their experience/success outside their own marketing blurb. At least I know what an MLM is.

I also see a lot of these MLM off-shoot "businesses". They're all just vultures, circling around the MLM reps; trying to get their piece of the pie before their funds dry up. Coaches and gurus promising the magic formula, funnels promising to funnel new recruits their way. The low level 99%ers get milked from all angles

@Waveafterwaveslowlydrifting

Is it Salon or Sacked who is now with Nutonic? She posted today Beach days 🏝 Calls this morning, playtime this afternoon. A cheeky Malibu and the most gorgeous salad 🥗 🍹 Kids living their best life and a reflection of how many dreams we have ticked off ✔️ Our dream home in the U.K. which is now a investment property 🏡 Our kids growing up in Spain 🇪🇸 Private education 🏫 Retired hubby 🙏🏽 All around 3 kids.. I’m not someone who’s main focus is business, dont get me wrong it’s a lot of my time but im a mum who needs to do baths, bedtimes, homework, hobbies & everything inbetween! It’s not that easy when you have a family.. but you prioritise!! Find something that you love and which allows you to earn whatever it is that your wanting to achieve and run for it. Work life balance!! Don’t take advice from someone who hasn’t achieved it AND remember who the haters will be - they won’t be the successful ones I promise 😉 Life’s for living. It’s one big adventure. Are you living or existing?

What's the deal with her accounts?

Salon is THE worst IMO. She is cozied up with the Nutonic CEO's, and sits at the top of the pyramid. The 99% look up to the 3 of them as if they are saviours. Have a look through the profile of the Nutonic male CEO. It's an online shrine to the top 3. There is one live of a lady in absolute bits (22 May), crying and thanking the 3 of them. It's pure heart breaking as she is clearly believes that her life is about to change for the better. How can Salon and Co... scam these people like that.

There is another further down (22 May) making elaborate health claims, mentioning almost every illness you can think of, claiming that their produces have cured all these illnesses and diseases.. but admits that hers' haven't even arrived yet??? like WTAF???

terrywynne · 02/06/2021 12:30

I think it's a bit more complex than coaches are an off shoot of MLMs. There are some MLM reps who decide to become coaches and gurus for MLMs. But there are also lots of coaches who have come at coaching from another angle - some of whom attract custom from current/ex MLM reps.

CompleteBarstool · 02/06/2021 15:14

I've just checked in with LanzaBot's fb page for the first time in ages ..... her new venture is all about ..... .....Passive Income!

VolcanicEruption · 02/06/2021 17:53

Not many takers for passive income 🤷‍♀️
I often wonder if the Mr bots grin and bear the photos/videos in the hope they will get rewarded later 😂

SnoogyWoo · 02/06/2021 21:20

They are only trying to coach due to MLM not making any money for them. No one goes in to coaching if they are making loads of money in their main business. I know we don’t need anymore proof that MLM will make you no money but there it is lol.

CompleteBarstool · 03/06/2021 10:33

I see Castle's pissed off at being criticised about how she's bringing up her newborn (not sure where the critical posts are though, maybe an anti-MLM page??)

What she doesn't seem to get is that if you put yourself out there on social media, documenting every little bit of your life believing that you are some sort of celebrity then you have to take the rough with the smooth especially if you're doing something as controversial as weaning your baby at 10 weeks!!

Was it the brief few years of being FL's poster girl that has made Castle think that she is some sort of celeb and that she's above criticism?

She seems to think that everything she does is the best thing ever and that everyone should bow down at her knowledge - pro-planners, tacky hoodies, dealing with an unsettled baby, she's the guru...apparently Hmm

fromdownwest · 03/06/2021 11:04

This is what happens when the FL celebrities are exposed to the outside world. It is not full of people gushing at their every action, and they do not like it one bit.

The narcissist mindset of some of these bots works well when being adored, however, when critical views are placed upon them they really don’t like it.

As an aside - castle business planning workshop, was ground breaking. Use some nice coloured highlighters to block out time blocks….

Ground breaking

Spongebobette · 03/06/2021 11:27

It really helps if you have narcissistic tendencies when you are a bot
You have no qualms about pushing yourself forward and grabbing the limelight and sounding certain that you are right

Malin52 · 03/06/2021 13:07

Oh dear. Nurse is posting about exciting new opportunities. Trusting a gut feeling. Cant say too much. Lots of things happening and very excited.

Who do we think she's jumping to?

I reckon it's a bath bomb MLM Grin
Malin52 · 03/06/2021 13:28

@Beeeeeeeeeeeeeep ha! We've seen more of those bath bombs than anything FL related. You could be right.

I'm dreading it being NTonic

MarchXX · 03/06/2021 17:50

Hopefully she is going to start her own bath bomb business. If so, I will order some (as long as they don't contain aloe vera Grin).

Twentytwentyhindsight · 03/06/2021 19:16

@MarchXX - problem is, she might the invite you to join her pre-launch biznis as a ground-floor founder level pioneer in the next big thing that will set the world alight...

BSintolerant · 03/06/2021 20:20

If Nurse were to set up her own business selling bath bombs I hope her new venture pays homage to her last tango with MLM. She could create a pyramid shaped bomb called “Just Deserts”, a spherical bomb called “Global”, an invisible bomb called “Blank Cheque”, a bomb which resembles a Mulberry purse called “Whore’s Handbag” and a brown turd-shaped bomb called “Insolvent” which doesn’t dissolve, floats in the bath and is too slippery to pin down.

Spongebobette · 03/06/2021 20:37

Where has she said that?

And a bath bomb called “C9” that doesn’t dissolve, it just gets bigger and bigger each time you use it.
acatcalledjohn · 03/06/2021 21:52

The C9 Bomb would be lavender scented.
