Following Dallas I don’t think I ever saw one bit of interaction between Yawn and roomie.
That entire trip was a disaster. It doesn’t surprise me that there was even more going on behind the scenes than we were privy to!

Am I wrong to be slightly irritated at Roomie’s constant victimhood? We all saw the response she got from her family over the book. How many other women in bad positions financially and emotionally did she take advantage of to grow her team? We saw her recruiting even after she was being so horrifically “bullied”.

Yeah and still saying MLM is good it's just the people being bad, and that it's not a cult (you can see the friends who had reservations about FL coming out of woodwork in the comments - she should be glad they are still around for her)

Oh Roomie was a hardcore, desperate to succeed bot alright.

I "knew" her before she came to the attention of these threads (from the school playground). She ate, slept and breathed FL and was also guilty of the classic NWM tactic of changing her story to suit the situation (and still does!).

Don't believe the penniless, living on handouts 6 years ago rubbish or the network marketing enabled my children to go to a lovely independent school story as at least 1 or 2 of the children have always been in private school!

We all know what she likes to listen to ….people telling her how wonderful/clever/creative/beautiful/talented she is.

Just looked back at Roomie, BFF and Yawns profiles. No evidence that Dallas even happened. All erased. Not even a plane photo or a big hat. Seems some big shit went down that week.

Roomie must have felt like the holder of the golden ticket when she was the chosen one to be Yawn's plus one on that trip.

The reality was obviously something else though.

Clearly Yawn couldn't keep up the pretence of a supportive and successful upline 24 hrs a day when sharing a hotel room and not getting a cheque. I can imagine she didn't mince her words about the photos either.

Whilst i'm sure some friendships in MLM have survived the test of time and also the moment when the participant decided to call it a day, what cannot be denied is the utterly toxic level of behaviour when it comes to senior uplines and the fake friendships they form with new victims who sign up only for them to be thrown aside when the initial warm market dries up and the distributor refuses to bow to the pressure applied from above to make purchases of their own to earn promotions.

The lack of conventions and local meetings due to Covid-19 are an absolute nightmare for the upper level bots as it's much harder to keep the lower level ones involved.

I seem to remember it all started unravelling when someone posted the apparently innocent question about her not travelling business class at about the same time as she would have had to switch her phone to airplane mode and thus been unable to police her feed as assiduously as she normally does...

In terms of BFF, there does not appear to be any interaction between her and Yawn, they used to be all over each other's posts. I also note that Uber is now all over BFF, after having her over for a one-to-one meeting, while Yawn was noticeably absent from Uber's big CoVid restriction breaking get together.

Trouble at the Thatch?...

The only sympathy I have for anyone involved in MLM bot world is for the children.

Yawn, Roomie, Broke and Nurse et al are greedy parasitic dickheads who'd rather scam than do a proper days work.

I mean she kinda has a point. These threads do focus a lot on a handful of individuals (and there has been regular discussion about where the line should be drawn) rather than the industry bad a whole. Very very top bots who do lots of damage escape with relatively little attention as they haven't been cottoned on to. And owners get off very lightly. When did we last look into where US MLM owners are donating their money? Bots talk about companies aligning with their ethics and values but it is easy to ignore the ethics and values of the owners if they aren't talked about. Are the various MLM charities still going? That company that was doing pregnancy loss packs? What about the rather famous investor in Tropic - is he still a government advisor? How does he get away with setting up an MLM and don't have more criticism sent his way?

Eye's posts on the early threads were hard going but at least they meant there were regular posts about the industry and connections to cult behaviours alongside the posts about individual actions.

@terrywynne all very good points. I know we've touched on the 'big bosses' on some threads, particularly with FL and TS-Shite but these threads to tend to concentrate on the sellers rather than the owners.
I'd hate to think it's cliquey but I guess it can come across that way because of the pseudonyms we have to give people.
