Broke gets worse in every live. How does anybody fall for that shit?

GoldenKelpie · 23/08/2020 11:17
Finally the best explainer video on MLM, well edited and should be handed to anyone who is thinking of joining or participating in any MLM.
Well presented and answers all those questions we have been posting on here from the very begining.....
This is another, quite superb, antiMLM video!

There are more and more getting made and every single one talks about how toxic, culty and extremely mentally damaging this business model is. I love it!

Yes it is, BS. And all the replies are telling her to stop doing it, its a scam, which is gratifying. Having said that, if I was a fully-botted hun I would hesitate to post that she should try harder and ignore the haters Grin, this is after all mn and not the cuddlier MLM-loving N*tmums.

Good grief. How old is Broke?
What an absolute waster.

ToBotOrNotToBot · 23/08/2020 13:51

Broke it's TEE total, not tea total!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️

acatcalledjohn · 23/08/2020 14:25

Broke.

This is why you don't get to see your kids. It's not spiteful on your ex's part, she is simply protecting the children from your drug and alcohol fuelled existence.

It's only a matter of time before someone passes this on to social services because holy fuck, those children deserve so much better.

AlexCabot · 23/08/2020 17:25

Lol at Broke recruiting people to make a second income when he doesn't even have a first income!

His nickname has to be the most appropriate.

Underhiseye2 · 23/08/2020 19:12

How can I find broke....cluesesses please

AlexCabot · 23/08/2020 19:21

Broke- First name same as Mr McFly from Back to the Future.
Surname- Something you wear on your hands in winter with an R at the end.
Be warned though, his Facebook can be 🤮at times!

BlackCatsRule88 · 23/08/2020 19:22

First name - Think of the male version of the East End star that had a perfect moment.

Second name - something you wear on your hand when it’s cold with an R on the end,

Sigh.....No negativity huns.

An old school friend is an Ambassador for Tropic Skin Care, she’s just put a fundraising post on our fb page to raise
money for a charity supported by a mutual friend that sadly passed away, by having an online party. So she’s flogging her skin creams under the guise of fund raising ( she will donate 25p per £1 spent) .
I really want to post a reply saying how distasteful this is but can’t get the wording right. Should I even post in case I seem unreasonable?

BSintolerant · 23/08/2020 22:20

@AlexCabot Grin - interesting thread.

Ooh, tough one. What about something like "its a great idea to donate to xx's charity, and I am donating £xx directly to it using this link"

There was a similar post on a local fb group recently. She had been selling one product but not supported In training so was looking for someone who could train and support her to do Avon / Body shop instead.

I did say it might just be that no one made money on them rather than a failing on her part....

Does yawn have any concept of how long it must take someone to make a macrame curtain? She wants to pay a local person £30.
I would imagine it takes a few hours at least.
She really is a twat!

TheHorseonSeventhAvenue · 24/08/2020 08:15

You would think a serving police officer would know the coronavirus restrictions and certainly wouldn’t want to be seen with their family on SM breaking them.

They would be aware of local rules, such as no mixing with other families outside your bubble. No meeting in other people’s gardens.

It’s certainly not ok for four households to mix indoors but one bot has brother, sister and BFF all in her house.

....but , let's not forget, a twat on a very tight budget!

Hence the cutting corners cheaply and not buying a nice, top of the range camper van.

Norma27 · 24/08/2020 09:32

@CompleteBarstool so very true!

Norma27 · 24/08/2020 09:45

I've just had a look at a ladies macrame page who comments on yawn's post.
She's not getting what she wants for anywhere near £30.

acatcalledjohn · 24/08/2020 11:40

Who'd have thought that FB live of Broke high on something would be deleted...

Law of reaction anyone?

fromdownwest · 24/08/2020 15:54

Castle has a new cringe and contrived podcast.

Top Tips on marketing - tip number 2. Never show the name of the product....It is not due to her not wanting people to research it, obvs....

Saatchi & Saatchi know nothing!

Tupperwarelid · 24/08/2020 17:18

There has obviously been a memo sent out to all the Body Shop bots. I’ve seen 3 today offering a free lipstick to 2 brides who have had their weddings cancelled due to Covid.

acatcalledjohn · 24/08/2020 22:34

Because what could possibly make you feel better than a BS lipstick when your wedding has been cancelled?

Next it will be an exclusive discount on a C9/infused clingfilm/fake fat burning pills for those brides who now have a bit longer to lose weight pre wedding.
