The country manager is hosting a q&a and has asked for questions. Fairly sensible questions about people wanting sample size products... however of course forever don’t want to do that... they want the FBO to have to buy the full size products themselves. Also question asking about offering free p&l at this time as that’s being absorbed by the FBO. The FBO is the customer. I wonder what questions they will choose to answer.

Eyes had personal experience of a family member being in the Amway cult and it was very destructive in his family. He had done a lot of research and had very useful info; it wasn’t always written as clearly as it might have been but full of valuable content

HailHydra · 16/04/2020 22:14

I remember Eyes. I think I reread something like 30 odd threads right from thhe beginning. Incredibly long winded but loosened up a bit. Good luck to him!

Nurse is giving away a c9. Which means she's bought one herself to give away. Sigh.

BSintolerant · 17/04/2020 08:21

Nurse is her own best customer.

OP posts:
CodenameVillanelle · 17/04/2020 08:54

Of course. That £140 'profit' she made was entirely from the c9 she bought herself, this extra one and the aloe gloop she buys every month. Idiot.

CodenameVillanelle · 17/04/2020 08:55

Must have a minimum of 50 entries Grin yeah right. She's copied that from Uber's post. She'll be lucky if she gets 5 replies from fellow bots and her mum!

Spongebobette · 17/04/2020 09:26

Where has she put that? On her FB page where she gets no engagement?

CodenameVillanelle · 17/04/2020 09:27

Yep

fromdownwest · 17/04/2020 09:51

So the smoke clears, and Nurse's 'Profit' was ... shock horror, her own purchase. In the desperate attempt to generate a larger contact list, she is not GIVING it away.

If it wasn't such an evil and destructive system, I would actually admire the business model.

BetsyTiger · 17/04/2020 10:41

PhD offering a monthly payment plan for her services because she doesn't 'want money to be the reason you don't change your life'.

Would you trust somebody whose company is being struck off?

RogueApostrophe · 17/04/2020 10:50

PhD will just explain that away by saying she's set up a new company in Australia. Not that anyone will look into her background. Her fanbase seems remarkably loyal and encouraging of her hair-flicking nuggets of wisdom.

Spongebobette · 17/04/2020 11:11

Interesting questions on that thread on the country manager's page

Postage costs seem to be an issue -

'Is there ever going to be a reduction in p&p and minimum order? £6.99 is an astronomical amount & I lose alot of orders (smaller ones) as I won't pay that much in delivery say for a £50 order (especially if a customer is only buying a hand soap for instance but i hsve to make it up to £50 spend) - we're losing more than 10% profit straight away. It's one thing that's always baffled me the price of postage, I've never known anywhere to charge this much. Thanks'

Spongebobette · 17/04/2020 11:15

Does that mean you have to spend a minimum of 50 quid each order? Such a clever strategy - if a bot has a couple of orders from customers they are then basically forced to spend their own money on additional items to bring it up to 50 quid, or make the customers wait till they've collected more orders. And who, in this day and age, want to wait more than a day or two to get what they've ordered?

No wonder Nurse is always posting 'order going in - anyone want anything?'

CodenameVillanelle · 17/04/2020 11:21

I think they mean the postage is £6.99 however much you spend so if you only order £50 of items you pay all your profit in postage
What a ridiculous 'business' these people are in

CodenameVillanelle · 17/04/2020 11:22

Not to mention the postage only gets the crap to their homes, they then have to get it where it's going which means more postage!

Spongebobette · 17/04/2020 11:34

They have to buy a minimum amount of product to stay 'active' though don't they?

CodenameVillanelle · 17/04/2020 11:37

Yes and it's quite a lot

fromdownwest · 17/04/2020 11:56

A bot who used to play a sport for GB has just posted on her insta timeline how busy she is. Showing a spreadsheet of contacts, job title for most of them is Unemployed...

However, the main thing is that each of these peoples emails, names and telephone numbers are clearly visible for all to see.

A huge GDPR breach that would result in a huge fine in any other profession. Do these people even hold and IPO licence?

Spongebobette · 17/04/2020 12:38

Which MLM is that?

acatcalledjohn · 17/04/2020 13:02

Any clues for the sporter?

BSintolerant · 17/04/2020 14:11

If it wasn't such an evil and destructive system, I would actually admire the business model.

The very few who are making millions out of MLMs must be ruthless psychopaths - especially the CEOs of these companies. How can they sleep at night knowing that they’re selling an impossible dream to people, many of whom will end up in debt to line the pockets of those at the top of the pyramid?

One day there will be a reckoning:

“You see, evil always contains the seeds of its own destruction. It is ultimately negative, and therefore encompasses its downfall even at its moments of apparent triumph. No matter how grandiose, how well-planned, how apparently foolproof of an evil plan, the inherent sinfulness will by definition rebound upon its instigators. No matter how apparently successful it may seem upon the way, at the end it will wreck itself. It will founder upon the rocks of iniquity and sink headfirst to vanish without trace into the seas of oblivion.”

They just make up the £50 with things for themselves eg drinking gel, tooth gel (shudder), skincare, that mpd all purpose cleaner (£22!) or even products to give to relatives for birthday presents. An old bit friend of mine posted pics of big hampers of FL shite she gave her mum and sister for Christmas. Now ex bot as she couldn't afford to keep up the spend.

acatcalledjohn · 17/04/2020 15:37

Found her! I'm in touch with the ICO to report that public insta story as that is A LOT of data to be posting online without consent. It's so easily visible too!

acatcalledjohn · 17/04/2020 15:39

Can we henceforth refer to her as Ping Pong Bot please? Grin
