I can't believe this has been going for nearly a year! I feel rather emotional

I'll pop the list up in a second for any newcomers.

After passing the test for crisp on 5th August, I have finally just received an email telling me I am starting!! The only issue is, I am pregnant and I am worried it will affect my SMP?? Anyone been in the same position?

I gave up on cloudworkers, for one I couldn't handle another condescending email. If you know, you know haha! Plus I think the money received for work put in was not enough.

Feeling rather left out with all these crisp emails I wonder if they don't want me because I didn't put many hours down?

@mynameisjune September I'm just being impatient, and if I'm honest I've got more than enough to do with my appen projects at the mo, it would just be nice to have something in my back pocket in case they dry up!

@MynameisJune yay :) I'm now worried though that it will be too hard for me and I will fail the tests :( Going to try my best though, baby stuff is expensive haha!

Is anyone now acting as an agent for neevo? I was offered the job yesterday and I need to start today but I’m so nervous!! It’s 15 dollars an hour apparently

@studenthelp ooh that sounds interesting! How does it differ from what we do normally?

@bananamuffin99 is your SMP through your 'normal' employer? I've looked into this a lot since starting Appen and as far as I can tell, your SMP from your regular employer is unaffected by any self employed work you do.

Apparently I’ll be acting as the bank in the call tasks that people are doing. They haven’t sent me a lot of info to be honest and I start at 10am

@studenthelp oh that's cool! I haven't done any of those calls because I'm always in the office when they're scheduled, but I thought you were calling actual agents at a bank to help them train!

I have no idea what the purpose of the task is as I thought the same too, initially. Feel quite happy they came forward and offered me the job but still worried about fitting it in as exams are looming and I’m just about to go home for Christmas.

They said I can do as much or as little as I want so I said I’d do 2 hours today and 1 on Sunday but I’ll see how it goes.

I didn't get the email for what you doing-good luck! That's great money.
I got the email for the normal pretend calls and did them yesterday from 2 until 6pm. I've tried to get back on this morning to finish them but nothings happening, I think I may need to wait for an email from them again, that's unless they are finished.

I have done about 80 validation ones this morning, I keep going back to them and when I've done them it says task finished, then I'll check again a few minutes later and some more are there again.

I've been doing the 100.000 ones. Done a few this morning but the last few days it's been slow to load them, so I battled on. After I had done some more only a few minutes ago it said 'no more tasks'
Anyone else had this?!

I’ll report back soon! Only just got my log in and I need to be at uni for the end of rectal week at 12 so I won’t be able to do a full hour this morning.

Unfortunately, apparently there are no calls available for me right now so I’m just sat waiting. Does this count as work? Do I log these hours?

I've just had an email from Neevo regarding the agent ones. They said they are doing them all day today and the weekend too.
But then it says it starts at 2pm today!

Has the neevo British English Pronunciation Validation finished or have I been kicked off?. I was really enjoying that!

what availability did you all put down? I'm wondering if it's because I said I could only do 10hours or so a week?

I wish I had made a note of exactly how many hours I stated but I know for certain that I put more than 10 hours.
I passed on the 7th of October so I will see if I hear from them.
Although it may not work like that!
