What is it with Sleaze and selfies taken in public toilets, complete with puddles of piss on the floor - if this is attraction marketing, what is his target audience?

fromdownwest · 27/09/2019 12:23

I am sitting on my hands here and so tempted to reply to a bot's insta story.

I hope you are reading this, and it is not bullying, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Your 'donation' to a McMillan (sic) coffee morning is a pack of pre bought biscuits and a copy of 'Aloe Life'!!!!! Forever's magazine!

Shame on you.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 27/09/2019 13:20

He's only 41?!

Boy, he must have had a tough paper round!

Gotmychocolateimgood · 27/09/2019 13:29

Sleaze just loves taking selfies from high up doesn't he?

Bluewavescrashing · 27/09/2019 13:34

Nurse was quiet for a couple of days... I was hopeful she'd seen the light. But no, she's starting her Christmas campaign 🎅🎄😔

Norma27 · 27/09/2019 13:43

Wish I had a lovely boudior.
Luckily I can afford a dictionary or know how to use spell check!

BSintolerant · 27/09/2019 14:49

Forever Fibbing’s accounts are due in five days according to Companies House. Can’t wait! Can you?

Whiterangey · 27/09/2019 15:35

I can't wait. I'm sure the bots are just as eager as we are to see how FLP are doing in the UK.

Norma27 · 27/09/2019 15:43

Also can’t wait. Going to be very interesting reading.

hunzuncovered · 27/09/2019 16:15

Baconbot runs a good con. She's one of the sneakiest out there.

leasedaudi · 27/09/2019 20:42

FLP ACCOUNTS UP

leasedaudi · 27/09/2019 20:43

False alarm- they're done but not up yet

SnoogyWoo · 27/09/2019 21:00

That’s a right tease!

Twentytwentyhindsight · 27/09/2019 21:05

Companies House are such teases!

Bovneydazzlers · 27/09/2019 22:11

Place your bets on turnover and number of new sign ups (2017 was £45m and 12,000)!

The problem with pyramid schemes is that just like they have years of exponential growth, when it is in decline the decline is also exponential. By nature of it being, pyramid shaped.

I'd say £19m. It could well be less though, particularly on the number of new distributors.

Based on the following estimates, which are pretty baseless but still fun:
2500 loyal bots - £3k each - £7m
7500 new distributor sign ups - £1.2k each - £9m
20% remaining bots from last year's intake (12,000), at £1.2k each, an optimistic £3m

SnoogyWoo · 27/09/2019 23:17

I said £18M earlier so will stick with that. 4500 new sign ups.

worcestersauce29 · 28/09/2019 02:31

I know that this is properly mean but as an uber bizniz leader.........wonder and wander are a tad different ;)

The accounts are up!

£32m turnover (drop of 24%) and 8,500 new sign ups (drop of 30%). I think I underestimated how much the loyal base plough into this (probably from their own pocket) in my estimate.
The company just managed a small profit.

Their revenue from events and literature dropped by a bigger proportion than the drop in sales, really struggling to pack those events.

Number of employees dropped from 121 to 78.

They expect 2019 to be consistent with 2018 (although their 2017 accounts said they expected growth in 2018 so I'd predict tough 2019 too...hence the change in cc policy).

Anyone thinking of getting into this- be aware it's a declining market.

Gotmychocolateimgood · 28/09/2019 07:49

Thank you Bovneydazzlers for reporting back on the accounts 🙂

leasedaudi · 28/09/2019 07:51

But the net profit is £74k down from £893k! That's down more than 90%! Surely they must exit the market before they don't even cut a profit?

Bovneydazzlers · 28/09/2019 08:11

You're right - Profits are down significantly (92%)!

I'm not sure they would exit the market unless the losses were significant.

Even if The uk company was loss making, the Utah clan get their money from selling the products to the UK company, and also have extra annual income (£100k in rent alone) from the UK company.

Saying that, it will be interesting to see their Ireland strategy, which I'm guessing will be loss making.

Whiterangey · 28/09/2019 11:01

Merry Christmas everyone!

They are worse than I thought they would be, at some point they will level off as people will always join, the bottom will be reached at some point and will then stay at that point, it won't go up again.

I also think 2019 has been worse for them than last year, just based on the middle bots who have left, and those who have gotten J.O.B's.

Only 8504 new bots signed up in 2018, a high proportion of which wouldn't have lasted the year.

It's new business they need for a cheque isn't it? That would explain why the UK cheques only just made it into 2 figures.

The new bots are the most important figure on the report in my mind as that directly relates to how the top bots are struggling to find new recruits.

If it falls again in 2019, which it will, likely by at least 20%, this year they may be struggling with only 6000 signups, or even less.

Forever is really expensive, why pay £100 for a C9 when you can lose weight with a variety of cheaper weight loss products, like Valentus. None of them work and all are dangerous, but if magic weightloss is your thing why pay £100.

I can't remember which bot it was, it may have been Homeschool, I read something from 2015/16 where whatever bot said they had something like 2000 people in their downline.

Now there is only 8000 new people per year. I wonder how many total bots there are in the UK.

Some who used to get cheques are now working proper jobs.

It''s glorious how far they have all fallen.

Still 8000 people who lose money each year which I don't consider to be a victory.

Though getting it down that low is definitely down to the anti-mlm lot who have tirelessly done lots of work over the past years. They rock!

They keep getting others to join them, anti-mlm downlines now have thousands in them. The top anti-mlmers don't appear to be buying range rovers though.
