Let's try not to fill this one up too quickly Grin

I think everyone had an absolutely smashing month in June, with lots of luck thrown in at the end of it for good measure. I think we're all proving it's possible you can earn £10 a day from the comfort of your own sofa.

I'll pop together an updated list of earning methods later, I haven't had coffee yet Grin

All new joiners are welcome Smile

Just started with Crisp on the training data and realized it’s a bit less straightforward to identify risks than I expected! Glad not to be on live data just yet, going to try and learn as much as possible at this stage. Finding it interesting though.

DB761 · 06/07/2019 15:39

Thank you @Otterses x

whatthewhatthewhat · 06/07/2019 16:48

@ShinyButtons I had to chance mine twice.

The moderation training stuff is quite different from the tests! Think I did about an hour... but very slowly!

whatthewhatthewhat · 06/07/2019 16:48

*Change

TheLolaMontez · 06/07/2019 17:04

See it's not all bad @ShinyButtons Grin
I think it helps me knowing that they think they're talking to the girl In the picture somehow.

whatthewhatthewhat · 06/07/2019 18:06

@TheLolaMontez the picture thing is grim. Sad what women have to do to make money, worse what men are prepared to spend their money on :-(

Anyone else in Crisp Training/moderation mode and feeling like they are getting it all wrong!?? Arggghhhhhh

TheLolaMontez · 06/07/2019 18:09

Grim in what respect @whatthewhatthewhat ?

ShinyButtons · 06/07/2019 18:10

@whatthewhatthewhat I've changed mine 3 times and then blocked myself for trying to many times, now got to wait till Monday for the nice people in the unblocking idiots department to sort it out for me Blush

@TheLolaMontez It wasn't bad at all I quite enjoyed myself, it's quite fun pretending to be pretty and and brave and talking about all sorts of stuff that real me would never ever do Grin

whatthewhatthewhat · 06/07/2019 18:12

@TheLolaMontez Grim that they think they are talking to some fantasy woman

What's the pay like @ShinyButtons?

TheLolaMontez · 06/07/2019 18:16

Each to their own I suppose @whatthewhatthewhat it is what it is 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've found it far easier than expected too @ShinyButtons Smile I actually think it's quite nice chatting to some of the older men on there, I had one telling me about his plants in his garden the other day Grin

ShinyButtons · 06/07/2019 18:25

@whatthewhatthewhat I think it's 10p a message but it's surprisingly easy to send a lot of messages when you get onto a conversation with someone.

@TheLolaMontez aww I want to chat to nice old men about plants. I only stayed on for about 30 minutes, I'm easing myself into it. I just had anal guy, another guy telling me about his car and a few that were just replying to the starter message thingy. I'll have another go at it tomorrow if it's busy enough.

TheLolaMontez · 06/07/2019 18:33

The starter messages are really easy, as are the user reactivation ones, you don't have to put much thought into those ones Grin it's quite nice when you get a good conversation going. It's nowhere near as bad as I expected, I thought it would be constant sex but it isn't at all

whatthewhatthewhat · 06/07/2019 18:52

@TheLolaMontez how much are you making an hour?

TheLolaMontez · 06/07/2019 19:14

Between £10-£15 per hour but it depends on time of day and how busy it is on there. I've not been doing it very long yet (less than a week) so I don't have much to go off but that's what I've been doing so far. @whatthewhatthewhat

BlackCatFan · 06/07/2019 19:16

Cloudworkers people - have you managed to book shifts? I only did a few hours and then stopped because I realised the work would be mostly weekends which I can't do. But apparently you can "freestyle" in some situations.. keep thinking I'll be fired if I don't book any shifts.

Has anyone been paid from them yet or is it mostly your first month(s)?

TheLolaMontez · 06/07/2019 19:17

I booked some for next week @BlackCatFan but I've not booked 12 hours worth

SorryDidISayThatOutLoud · 06/07/2019 23:21

@whatthewhatthewhat yes I am in training mode and I just think I might be getting it wrong. Most of the finance ones I think are not a risk, and most for other companies too. I suppose only time will tell if I am crap or not.........

lannister · 07/07/2019 08:07

Thanks @nervous84 and @snowqu33n I've used your referral codes. Trying to sign up to other sites to increase the income the big earners on here Appen & Crisp seem to not be interested in me 😔. Is there a referral link for cloudworkers?

TheLolaMontez · 07/07/2019 09:54

You don't need a referral link @lannister - you just go on their website and fill in an application Smile

Bemystarlord · 07/07/2019 10:02

I’m super impressed with how many messages you are sending @TheLolaMontez i seem to average 50-60 an hour!

The money is in euros so works out about 8p a message. It is definitely better than I expected but I can’t honestly say I enjoy it, mostly lonely people looking to chat with a few raunchy ones thrown in for the mix 🤣

TheLolaMontez · 07/07/2019 10:09

Depends how focused I am @Bemystarlord some days I can't make my fingers move fast enough 😂

snowqu33n · 07/07/2019 10:45

@lannister I haven’t had any luck with Appen so far either.
I had a project from Upwork this month, might be worth giving that a go too, all kinds of random work available.

GoodPlaceJanet · 07/07/2019 11:25

Hello all.

I never have anything interesting to add to these threads as I'm on waiting lists and nothing is happening :( been on the waiting list for Crisp for a couple of months so it's disheartening to see people getting straight in (although happy to see people succeeding too!) Waiting for 5 Appen projects too.

Failed Lionbridge and the transcription site.

Just twiddling my thumbs with prolific. Even Enlightly has stopped giving questions :(

I'm closer to a tenner a month than a tenner a day. Sorry to be a misery it's just a bit depressing applying to so many things, spending time on applications and tests with nothing to show for it.

Bemystarlord · 07/07/2019 11:50

@Goodplacejanet I totally get that, I am hopeful Crisp will get to us that have been waiting awhile soon. There must be a system because there is nothing for them to judge applications on other than the test so fingers crossed it wont be long.

Have you considered cloudworkers? I know its not everyones cup of tea but I see it as at least its bringing something in for the time being.

GoodPlaceJanet · 07/07/2019 11:59

@Bemystarlord thank you, fingers crossed we both hear soon.

I looked at cloudworkers but it's just not for me.
