Lies, creative accounting and the Law of Reaction. Network marketers, we’re onto you - and so is the BBC:

@RelativePitch it is FLP heartland indeed! We're the UK's version of Utah just with rolling fields and Regency charm Wink

MontanaSkies · 24/06/2019 23:11

@RelativePitch and @VTechnophobe I've just realised I am your neighbour too! wave Saw the fundraiser on FB. Think this may be hard to avoid locally, especially as many people I know had their babies at that hospital AND that bot is a friend-of-a-friend.

Any ideas of something constructive I can say if it's mentioned to me? Don't want to come across as an awful grinchy human who doesn't want to support a good cause, but also hate the idea of people unwittingly depositing money into a bot bank account...

BSintolerant · 25/06/2019 00:31

Really want to ask Broke what exactly Gluccostiroids are....... apparently his snake oil helps anxiety/extreme stress by regulating their release

Gluccostiroids sound like sugar coated haemorrhoids. Grin

Hi @MontanaSkies - we really are in the midst of it. BFF is in my Slimming World group now!

I just say I don't support MLMs and would rather donate to charity direct. I think people know my views by now though as I haven't kept it quiet!

Norma27 · 25/06/2019 02:33

Surely FL bots don’t need slimming world when they have their own amazing products to help them lose weight?!

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 25/06/2019 07:28

It'll be interesting to see if BFF attributes any weight loss to FL or Slimming World.

I know what I'd put my money on Hmm

VTechnophobe · 25/06/2019 07:30

True although I suspect she's only joined to widen her net of potential victims. She doesn't need to lose weight.

leasedaudi · 25/06/2019 08:02

@VTechnophobe umm that's hilarious, I hope you're ready for lots of gormless selfies with BFF 😂

suedoname · 25/06/2019 08:50

@CatherineCookson that's who my friend was under.

He still uses 4 year old photos of himself on stage at an FLP SD to make him look like he's got the goods.

MontanaSkies · 25/06/2019 09:02

Wow @VTechnophobe let us know if you get the sales pitch!

I think you're right - if asked I'll keep it polite and factual "I don't support MLMs". And point them in the direction of the bbc documentary if necessary!

RelativePitch · 25/06/2019 09:30

BFF had a few of her down line poached by my friend who is a former FLP bot to go to Inteletravel. It didn't go down too well!

Whiterangey · 25/06/2019 11:28

BFF is always acting super sweet, is she a complete bitch? Would have been funny to see her lose her downline.

RelativePitch · 25/06/2019 14:52

Actually she's not one of the worst. My friend asked her 18 months ago if she should just ditch the day job and go for it full time with FLP and BFF told her not to. I think because BFF could see the bottom falling out of FLP and didn't want someone she liked to get into a total financial mess. I don't think other bots would have had such a conscience.

RelativePitch · 25/06/2019 15:02

BFF did however do the whole 'I've just moved into my dream house thanks to FLP' Yes it was a mansion, but RENTED at £2k a month. They stayed there just over a year. My friend certainly had her head turned by that. I remember her coming back from her first meeting with BFF and showing me photos of her house and the cars and gushing about her children being at private school. 'It's a no brainer Relative, it's a no brainer!' Sigh.

Sforsh49 · 25/06/2019 22:22

Why was Homeschool at School Sports Day yesterday????

SCM79 · 25/06/2019 22:55

Anyone got 10k for a treehouse?!

Whiterangey · 26/06/2019 08:21

Why take a selfie at sports day? Nobody else does. All other parents take photos of their child. I can't put any of the photos I took on social media as they have other children in them, so I just posted about sports day without a photo of me. Can't imagine turning every single thing into a selfie opportunity.

Why is she posting about how much she loves her body with a glass of diet shite in her hand? Cake would be more apt. If she wants to lose weight for health reasons then that's her choice but shakes or liquid crap should not be a part of that.

Norma27 · 26/06/2019 10:10

Receipt bot loves school run banter with the other mums. I bet they don’t and try to run away fast if they see her coming peddling her forever shite!

Whiterangey · 26/06/2019 10:48

I bet all the school mums are busy and need to rush home as soon as she comes into view.

I bet she doesn't very invited to their parties and bbq's either. I really hope they don't not invite her child to birthday parties because of it though, that would be so unfair to the kid but then I wouldn't want to have the hard sell at a kids party.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 26/06/2019 15:03

It definitely happens, White. When our first boy started school, prior to my OH being botted, he got a lot of invites to parties, play dates etc.

Once she got botted, these dropped off dramatically- fortunately, he was by then old enough to have the autonomy to go to his neighbourhood friends' places on his own.

It is one of the things that made me do as many of the school runs as I could for our second, as well as volunteer to take him to every event involving other parents. I did not want him to be a pariah among his mates' parents, although I wouldn't blame them for not wanting to be hunned to death every time he comes round.

Spongebobette · 26/06/2019 15:52

Banter:

-Hey how are you doing?
-Knackered, just want to sleep!
-that used to be me but I’ve got these great supplements I can show you, fancy a coffee?
-Oh god.

Itsjustlife · 26/06/2019 16:28

hi all, I've seen a post online (now deleted) which is a cancer patient asking for Aloe products as they help with her skin, she has said she was promised a cancer pack by forever but the person no longer responds to her messages and she didn't receive a single thing.
someone stated forever was full of liars
I have screen shots but i'm not sure the people in the thread would want all the info broadcasted

Twentytwentyhindsight · 26/06/2019 17:08

That would be the new low. Bad enough that they boost their CCs and fill the pockets of their uplines and FLP by appealing to people's charitable inclination to help people with cancer, but to then ghost a cancer patient who has been promised something? Just wow...

Whiterangey · 26/06/2019 19:10

I'd say that is the new precedent for lowness amongst bots but they would only take it as a challenge.

Spongebobette · 26/06/2019 19:40

OMG Nurse has cut out a piece of paper and stuck it to her laptop, it’s so pathetic
‘Manager November 2019’ it says
