Bot Watch 50 - watching the mighty fall.

Its forever living's global rally. Watching the top bots collect greatly reduced cheques.

Remember to always check companies house to check if someone in your upline is really earning what they say.

My FLbot has started to

P O S T . L I K E . Y A W N

This morning she is gushing about all the many Forever products she’s using: protein shakes, gel drinks, toothpaste, skin care range including powder mask, forever vitamins (be your own best customer indeed) and how amazing and alive she feels, like a new woman and more confident and happy...

I know those statuses are part and parcel of the MLM territory, but do you think they genuinely believe that the products are amazing when fully botted up?

Spongebobette · 21/05/2019 10:26

I wonder how much all that lot cost her!

They seem to believe that using the products and posting all about how great they make them feel will result in actual sales

Whereas in reality they are the customer; the likes of Uber have convinced them that they have to be ‘a product of the product’. Then Uber laughs all the way to the bank.

Whiterangey · 21/05/2019 10:38

Those 2 nights would cover the rally so you wouldn't actually see Australia

@ClubSandwich - in my experience, they do.

On top of developing an insatiable thirst for aloe gloop, OH not only replaced everything in the house that could conceivably be substituted for an FLP product, she discovered a need for stuff she would never have considered before (handful of pills daily, shakes & other supplements, 20 different skincare routines...).

She also started forcing the gloop down our kids' necks, feeding them multivitamins and replacing their toothpaste with the vile fluoride-free FL stuff, despite our dentist friend being strongly against it.

I surreptitiously made sure the kids used my toothpaste at least once a day, and there doesn't seem to have been any permanent adverse effect.

As for the multivitamins, my OH had previously been rightly suspicious of the need for them, except in specific cases (our kids eat a well-balanced diet, and have always been in robust health). The issue came to a head when I pointed out to her that the FLP kiddy vitamins contained an artificial sweetener that she had previously treated as the work of the devil. She tied herself in knots trying to defend FLP aspartame as somehow 'more natural' than the common or garden stuff. I won that particular one, but she didn't talk to me for a few days (funnily enough, once it had been established that the kids were not having the FLP stuff, she no longer considered it so important for them to have supplement).

The boys had to wait for her to finally move out to be relieved of the daily dose of gloop, but their reaction to having fresh fruit with their breakfast said it all.

The depth of bottedness can completely defy any rational thought, whether financial, relational, medical etc...

ClubSandwich · 21/05/2019 11:12

twenty I can’t even begin to imagine what living with a fully botted bot was like. Do you think she will ever see the light?

Bots portray such a perfect lifestyle over social media, but I can’t imagine anything worse than being completely consumed/obsessed by aloe. I find it quite sad really Sad

Fortunately for me, my bot hasn’t been too pushy and took no for an answer when she asked if I wanted to join her team.
Is there any way I can find out who her upline is? I’m curious to know whether it’s Yawn, got me wondering when I saw her recent change of posting style.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 21/05/2019 11:53

The artificial sweetener in question was sorbitol, not aspartame.

Jigsawpuzzle · 21/05/2019 12:09

My JP bot has left her DD in hospital whilst she helps sons get ready for school (Exams) but is also disrespecting people who commute.
I suspect that a lot of her income is actually tax credits and therefore people who work in these offices are contributing to the economy .The country would grind to a halt if nobody worked.

leasedaudi · 21/05/2019 14:08

@messyroundhill just linked to an article in a baby magazine, featuring none other than Uber and her downlines. Link is on thread 49..

Twentytwentyhindsight · 21/05/2019 14:19

I believe that the ad had been flagged up on this thread before.

What an absolute vulture! Also laughing at the way neither she, her sis. or the other shills mention anything about FL- they talk about 'joining the company', which suggests some sort of employment rights and wages...

I have also emailed Toddle About to complain about them providing a platform for a pyramid scheme that uses deceptive practices to prey on young parents.

MontanaSkies · 21/05/2019 14:36

Yes, I flagged that up a while back. There was also an article in Toddle About about a year ago (actual editorial, not ad) listing ways for mums to make money. MLM was listed as a valid means of employment. I think there was a list of pros and cons, but it read as pretty supportive of MLM.

I also notice that Uber and some other prominent bots have got their eagle claws into a local personal trainer (I live in prime Bot-land). This woman seems really nice and pretty smart, so I'm hoping she doesn't devalue her already successful brand by signing up to flog aloe.

Jigsawpuzzle · 21/05/2019 15:38

An advert popped up on FB for a train 🚞 tour round Australia 🇦🇺 19-29 days from £3995 , check down back of sofas bots. I would imagine they also have to buy visas.
When DD was in China the visas were expensive

Paddy1234 · 21/05/2019 16:15

I can't watch any of Uber's videos - it's her voice. Simply her voice. It grates on me.
And while we at it - the eyes. Dead.

CanoeDoYouThinkYouAre · 21/05/2019 16:33

Visas can be really expensive. DH has several for his work (and two passports which according to an old MN thread means he's definitely up to no good!) and he recently renewed his Indian one which cost hundreds.

However his boring old J.O.B paid for it. Bloody actual jobs, paying for business expenses like mugs.

When he's not traveling he works from home too, just like Yawn et al. Except he has an office here because working from the sofa would give him a bad back!

ImpracticalCape · 21/05/2019 16:33

Visas for Aus for UK citizens are free and usually issued in minutes online.

However

Flights are £800-1000

Sydney hotels are regularly booked up and are extraordinarily expensive when the city is busy - £200 a room not unusual
However you can't do Aus for 2 days! I live here and you'd need 2 days for the flight and another 2 just to recover from it! They'll need at least 5 days on the ground to get anything worthwhile from the experience other than falling asleep inside a darkened conference centre.

Aus is as big as Europe so for 5 days you'll see the Harbour and maybe a beach. They won't ''do Australia". If they do want to then travel costs rise incrementally

My point is that unless it's fully paid for bots are going to have to fork out at least £2k just to be there for 5 days of which at least 1 will be in a fog of jet lag. Food and drink expensive so another 1k needed for that.

Can't see any of the lowly bots having the funds for that.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 21/05/2019 16:34

Confirmation if FLP's 'global incentive' to entice bots to spend more go to Sidney.

Only one will actually get flights!

Where do I sign huns!

fromdownwest · 21/05/2019 16:40

I can't wait to 'expeirence' Sydney! Seriously, do they even not proof read their marketing literature!

I suppose going by most bots spelling, it's not really necessary!

FleeBee · 21/05/2019 17:03

What if one opportunity could change your life? Yeah I know lots of companies offer a life changing opportunity but what can you really earn when there's so many people around you selling the same thing?

There's only about 2000 Temple Spa consultants in the UK and about 120 managers. There's only one manager in the whole of your area so yes, there are real opportunities to be had here and in case you're wondering we are NOT an MLM company.

If you want to take the family on that holiday, if you want a new car, maybe you just want to make the monthly bills a little easier to cover.

Swopping one night in front of the tv and being a temple spa consultant can achieve that.

Whether an extra £50 a week would change things for you or you’d like to earn £500 a week the choice is yours.

Your only limit is you. Stop calling it a dream and make it your plan

Not an MLM ???? Looks like one to me?

SunsetBeetch · 21/05/2019 17:14

Oh god, in the past few months:

One of my colleagues has got into Arbonne (she's just come back from some sort of conference in Las Vagas).

My old neighbour has started trying to flog Younique on Facebook.

My mum's friend's daughter is advertising some food supplement pills and shakes with berries on Facebook. No idea what, but having read some of your threads, it's some kind of strategy to not name the company? I mean to me, that's dodgy right there.

I thought I was safe!

Twentytwentyhindsight · 21/05/2019 17:19

@FleeBee - Methinks they do protest too much.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

From a Temple Spa hun consultant on a beauty salon forum (the key word is 'recruiting'):

"Hi, I am a Temple Spa consultant and a self employed Therapist. The products are gorgeous but by joining TS you agree to sell their products primarily via skin care classes. There is a monthly target to hit to remain "active" which is achievable with just selling to clients but you will benefit best from doing classes and recruiting."

shortaris1 · 21/05/2019 18:22

I've just read this whole thread as I've recently started my own actual business and am fucking sick of the hun bots talking about their bizness at every networking I go to.

I was doing some work with a group of disadvantaged young lads and posted on my page asking for any local employers who might be able to help. The bot left me a voice message at 8am on a fucking Saturday morning saying she thought they'd be smashing at Forever. I don't think so as they are chronically shy and can barely raise their heads. Oh and have NO MONEY.

I politely said it wasn't for them and she left ANOTHER message saying she wasn't sure why I'd think that???? Eh, becuase I know them!

She's requested me on linkedin today saying 'I see you are looking for opportunities' I'm not. I did add her to see what she's up to and she immediately sent me TWO videos about the business opportunity.

Unfortunately she didn't check what she was sending and has addressed them to Frank. I'm female and not called Frank!!!! I'm also fucking raging.

It's really hard to start a business without her and all the huns pestering you at every opportunity.

Whiterangey · 21/05/2019 18:28

Found a temple spa consultants Facebook page. She used about 20 hashtags on one post.

MLM confirmed.

SnoogyWoo · 21/05/2019 18:40

@shortaris1 well done for starting a real business, I did nearly 3 years ago. Good luck with it all.

I hate all the bots at the networking events, boils my piss.

fromdownwest · 21/05/2019 19:45

I stopped going to networking events - guaranteed there would be at least half of the attendees would be either MLM, business coaches or it specialists (build you a website, so not actually IT contractors) they would get offended if I didn’t listen to their pitch and I’d waste my time trying to sell my actual services. Spoke to a few professionals who did the same, we started our own networking group just six of us with a no MLM policy.
