Darcey - you are spot on, the idea of the bosses walking across the office displaying their bonus cheques. I can imagine all the admin staff (who earn real wages) eeking and whooping.
I always laugh about the no other company treats you this well comment.
I never claimed to be earning what Uber and Bloodsucker are but have had amazing overseas, all-expenses trips, eaten in Michelin restaurants, stayed in top class hotels and have been taken away on a private jet when I worked for a great business. The FL experience looks average corporate to me.
However, I do know people who are senior in real JOBs - they are offered regular business travel, corporate tickets to Ascot, Wimbledon etc - concert tickets to Adele etc, several ski or golf 5 star trips every year. OK most of us don’t get that but FL is offering nothing special.
Nando’s take their middle management on some pretty awesome trips and guarantee them a salary every month, plus holiday pay, pensions, promotion opportunities and don’t con the people to think they should be grateful to work for them or make them queue to buy a mug!
