Just crunched the numbers from my former upline. The new mascara sold $12 million in 2 hours (just in her team, $14 million for the whole company). That equates to 400K sold. Considering there's over 1 million "active" presenters (97% of whom are in her team), that's not even half of them buying the amazing new mascara (which looks worse than falsies).
Nothing like half your customers not even being good customers to dampen your new product launch, hey?

MyCatHogsTheBed · 02/05/2019 23:42

Probably not really a meaningful exercise Jasmine, based on 2 hours of sales.

Jasmin82 · 03/05/2019 00:07

How many companies do you see who advertise their first 2 hours of sales of a new product? When you have presenters using that as a way to get more people to join (and it will have been advertised in the presenter only groups by the founders), it has to be countered by breaking it down. Especially as every presenter will have been told to get themselves in the line to buy as soon as it launched, whether they had purchased pre-launch or not.
It also shows up the type of company Younique is that, the top bots were on a "relaxation retreat" in Colombia when the launch happened and were still expected to push sales/get their teams to buy more stock in the first few hours. So much for "uplift, empower and validate."

I thought yawn was staying indoors yesterday because of the rain.
So how did she manage to come home to the sight of her lovely thatch! Or is she just trying to get pics in of her house to lure more victims in.
Might as well take pics now yawn as you won’t have that house much longer.

MLMsuperfan · 03/05/2019 08:00

Nursebot says that the days of her putting work ahead of her boy are gone. Must have been someone else the other night, doing a promotional live while her son was screaming for her attention in the bath.

Nu Skin's Influencer bot from the BBC documentary has claimed to have had a very trying week. Seems there had been a number of pissed off people commenting on her pages before getting deleted.

Notice a lot of the top bots are commenting on her posts now, looks like they are trying to rally round her via the medium of love bombing.

Now she is gushing about her latest upcoming success trip.

SSDGM · 03/05/2019 09:57

Broke is selling illegal TV sticks that magically generate money? I don’t understand.
Is he still sleeping on his ex’s sofa (again)? Last time that happened when he went off with Stoke Bot and came back with his tail between his legs his daughter was conceived.

Yawn had her measurements in her page a while ago when she went through a previous fad and employed a personal trainer - her measurements were more like an 18-20. If she’s a 12 again then whatever she’s bought with that label must have a lot of stretch.

(I am on my own journey to battle Middle Aged Spread in addition to 2 stones of “happy fat” since I met my husband and it’s really fucking hard so to see her trying to sell essentially a wave of a magic wand boils my actual piss)

MLMsuperfan · 03/05/2019 10:41

Nothing tacky whatsoever about posing with a fan of 20 pound notes in front of your infant child. Nice one Broke.

Jigsawpuzzle · 03/05/2019 10:43

Castle has had her 3 sleeps, now what?😴
Her siblings are quiet 🤐

JackDelaney · 03/05/2019 10:45

I follow a Nu Skin bot who is absolutely brainwashed. I've followed her for years and her facebook is an absolute train wreck.

She frequently boasts these excessive lifestyle posts which talk of her amazing success but then she'll mix them up with 'cries for help' like "The universe rewards stubborn people who refuse to quit".

She seriously needs intervention.

Only MLMs can indoctrinate people until they are shells of people.

I know that Anti-MLM activists care about these people more than the MLM companies do. We have empathy and realise what's happening to these people.

When she finally burns out completely there will be no going back for this woman and Nu Skin won't give a flying F about her.

gotmychocolateimgood · 03/05/2019 10:48

Castle has blocked me so I need updates please!

edit + Cults and religions.....they also indoctrinate people until they're shells of their former selves....

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 03/05/2019 12:22

Thoroughly enjoying the fact that Mr Yawn had to stand on a chair to take the latest photo of Yawn's miracle weight loss.

BSintolerant · 03/05/2019 12:41

Was the chair Mr Yawn standing on reinforced? Grin

Nurse bot has really drunk deeply of the Kool Aid

MLMhun · 03/05/2019 13:43

Nurse bot must have drank deeply of the Kool Aid to think anyone is interested in her monotone monologues! (Ok, she’s getting views but it’s mainly us!) I had to switch off within seconds after “I’m just back from the dentist... well I’ve been home forty minutes now”. Dear God!

Yawn has said on her latest weight loss post that she’s a vegetarian, is she?

Rinse repeat , rinse repeat , rinse repeat, you get the picture Nurse bot. You are not the only mother who does hectic.
My DH was one of 12 (parents and some siblings now gone) this was before we had all the bells & whistles at our disposal.

JackDelaney · 03/05/2019 14:24

It's just so deluded and cringey and horrible all at once.

Challenge myself to two weeks of lives, but I might try and do the whole month? For what purpose? I literally don't get it.

Has Yawn just told her that's the way she's gonna acheive financial freedom? By talking about her hectic mornings. I suppose it's the whole build yourself an audience thing, create engagement. Then sell and recruit to your audience....

My career is in sales and it's quite obvious that some people just aren't born sales people, some people are not dynamic, some people haven't got the gift of the gab and some people can't create interest just by their charismatic magnetism. SO THEY'RE NOT EMPLOYED TO BE SALESPEOPLE...But in MLM literally everyone gets told they can be great, obviously because uplines need a downline and they're not picky about who is in their downline, they'll make something from them in some form whether they're absolutely shit or not. Anything is better than nothing when it comes to MLM.

This is why people like Nurse bot get roped into these cringey situations. Aimlessly doing lives which serve no purpose, making fools of themselves, wasting their time. FFS, she could be doing a million other things rather than trying to make yawn money.

Nurse has put her belief into Yawn wholeheartedly and Yawn has told her that she can and WILL be successful. She's done the whole "where do you want to go on holiday" pitch. Nurse believes in Yawn.

When the penny drops, Nurse will end up blaming herself. Yawn will blame her. Nurse will look back at this MLM chapter with shame and embarassment and feel frustrated at herself that she didn't listen to those around her warning her about it.

Then Yawn rinses and repeats this all day every day to hundreds of people to prop up her own lifestyle.

This should be labelled as a form of abuse because that's what it is.

JasperRising · 03/05/2019 14:30

I always wonder what the bots mean when they talk about recruits from 'the banking industry' or 'corporate' background. It is always phrased vaguely enough that you could think of 'bankers' as in investment banker level with huge salaries and stress (who are now able to replace all that income shilling an MLM while having less stress etc...) but I suspect they mean high street bank employees whose salaries and bonuses are not those of a 'banker'. I am not a high earner myself but I have friends and acquaintances who are in genuinely high earning City financial/legal/consulting jobs and the idea of any of them swapping out their, admittedly stressful, jobs for an MLM because they can earn the same income for less stress is laughable.

MLMhun · 03/05/2019 15:21

Brilliant post @jackdelaney
