The thread where network marketing / multilevel marketing goes local - not global.

Where was the house? It looks stunning!

Bungalowbeth · 15/04/2019 06:01

Sorry was away at the weekend. Some of my former bot friends don’t talk about their time in FL. One still remains hopeful of hitting it big like Yawn. I did point out the lack of cheque last year but she still remains blinkered, “But she qualifies for all these trips”.

Just caught up (without seeing videos) on castle and everyone’s antics. Do find it a bit strange that someone went to the trouble of finding the Air BnB listing and messaging the owner. Yes, it was disrespectful behaviour from Castle but maybe there’s a bit too much over investment going on here too? Preparing to be flamed but meh.

Perthsmurf · 15/04/2019 07:40

@Bungalowbeth the videos were pretty out of order. Several people dancing on a marble worktop which had a very expensive hob built into it.

I think one reason people felt so strongly was that there was a genuine arrogance to using a house (which specified no parties or events) for a party, then treating that house in a way you would never have sanctioned in your own home, AND then filming it to show what a great laugh FL is.

I can think of no “normal” company that would think that type of behaviour is okay, in fact it would be a disciplinary if something like that was associated with the brand. The whole point here is that MLMs encourage this kind of behaviour because it’s all about recruiting rather than selling. If that means leaving babies at home and trashing someone else’s house then so be it.

Remember, while we were watching in disgust, other potential bots were being hooked into FOMO and might sign up/repeat the behaviour.

On reporting, yes it’s arguably outside this thread’s scope but I cannot disagree with someone here helping the homeowner to reclaim fair damages. It was predictable that the videos would disappear, potentially leaving the homeowner with little evidence, meaning that they might have to reply only on insurance. Now they have that evidence of deliberate disregard for the rules and will hopefully not be out of pocket.

Norma27 · 15/04/2019 07:54

Personally I think it is good the owner was messsged. The listing wasn’t difficult to find on air bnb.
Who knows what lies the owner would have been told otherwise. At least they know the truth now and can make castle and family pay for the damage.
I am still gobsmacked at how appallingly they treated another person’s property. And as said above the house cannot be rented out until the hob is fixed.

leasedaudi · 15/04/2019 08:26

I think the owner deserved to know where to find evidence of a party and I hope she screengrabbed images (as advised) to prove how the damage was caused before the bots deleted them. You'd think Castle, who is also trying to sell a mansion and renting it out in the meantime, would have more empathy.

The house is in moreton morell. It's just beautiful.

Bungalowbeth · 15/04/2019 08:29

It sounds like Castle was going to repair it before the owner was messaged anyway?

In no way am I condoning Castle’s behaviour but these threads are getting super stalky lately.

Norma27 · 15/04/2019 08:31

And how long would it take her to get it repaired? What if the house was to be rented out again yesterday.
And what sort of mess did they leave the place in after their ‘fun and frolics’?

UnapologeticallyUnhinged · 15/04/2019 08:40

Yeah I'm in agreement with the majority. We saw them vandalising someone's property via social media AKA in the public domain. And someone said something. Hardly stalking. We all know who these bots are and watch their social media because what they do is morally wrong. When it passes over into criminal damage I think it's personally reasonable to inform the owner.

BangingOn · 15/04/2019 08:59

The issue I have with Castle’s post asking for who ‘does’ Miele hobs, is that she didn’t specify where she was so naturally got recommendations for Wales. If she was serious about a recommendation and wanted a replacement fitting urgently then she would have been more specific. At best I think it was a brag to imply she wanted one for herself, at worst it might have been for the Castle Fam to snigger at- “ha ha, we are so crazy we broke a hob”.

I do agree that this thread can get a bit stalky, but on this occasion I’m pleased someone messaged the poor owner to make sure she had evidence in case it was needed.

Hunbot · 15/04/2019 09:16

As someone who is a landlord I would be greatful for someone telling me what was going on.

The person who owns that property has put a lot of time, effort and money to have that house look so beautiful and to have people come in and trash it must be heartbreaking. As others have said they now have the evidence they need as to how their property was damaged incase they need to take it further.

If the castle siblings want to post their damaging other people's things on social media then they can't be surprised to then be in trouble for it

I hope the owner isn't out of pocket

Spongebobette · 15/04/2019 09:23

That mum of twins upset me too, she’ll nevet get these precious days back with her tiny babies. Trying to turn your life into an Instagram story is so tragic; she’s started a ‘shred’ when she should be eating properly and enjoying her babies.
I looked at her company accounts. £600 in the company does not seem that impressive to me.

Spongebobette · 15/04/2019 09:25

It’s not stalking when it’s on multiple public social media accounts

I just hope Castle hasn’t asked the other attendees for a contribution towards the hob; there isn’t a lot of cash to spare amongst that lot

fromdownwest · 15/04/2019 09:29

I hope that she does ask them, may make them think twice about the 'generous' and 'amazing' company they work for.

Found this on Timeless Vie.

I'm not sure if this has been posted before but I thought it was worth posting again.

ChicCroissant · 15/04/2019 09:40

It is a bit strange for someone to go to the trouble of hunting down the B&B owner and reporting the videos, especially if you didn't know any of the people involved/the owner. I bet you don't do that with every FB post you see, leasedaudi! I do think tracking down the owner of the B&B is a bit stalky actually.

I'll be stepping away from the thread now, thanks.

spanfan · 15/04/2019 09:47

For me these threads are about pointing out what is real in Bot posting.

When I first found Castle, I thought it was real. I was never tempted but I was very curious... Which lead me here.

I like to point out when things are not as they seem. The castleparty was a car crash and I want people who might see this thread to see the other side.

Reporting Castle is well beyond what I would do but it is important to call out bad behaviour when you see it. They have tried to see if the owner of the property and it looks like they've been caught out which to be frank serves them right.

leasedaudi · 15/04/2019 09:49

Can't say I've seen any other people damaging someone else's property, so no I haven't shopped anyone to a landlord before.

Sorry that I've driven you away though.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 15/04/2019 09:52

Surely it's not that different to walking down the street and seeing some youths damaging a car and running off.

You wouldn't just walk on, you'd knock on the door of the nearest house to find the owner and report what you saw or even report it to the police.

Someone once did that for me when a lorry hit my parked car. A passerby left a note on the windscreen with the lorry registration number for which I was very grateful.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 15/04/2019 09:54

I agree with PP, this has overstepped the mark considerably.

The owner will have been fully aware of the damage caused by the group as soon as she visited the property, and as Castle is on Air BNB herself it won't be difficult to get the required funds to make repairs and/or report them to Air BNB so they won't be able to use them again.

It's one thing criticising someone for shilling MLM, but this is vindictive.

Whiterangey · 15/04/2019 10:48

They weren't going to fix the hob before they had to leave as they only rented it for three days.

I think it was the right thing to do, £2000 is a lot of money and Castle and co should be held accountable for their actions. It's not stalking it's having evidence that can help another person out and giving that person the evidence.

If the hob had been broken because dinner was being cooked and a pan was dropped and hit it at just the right angle to crack it, that would be different. An accident and the owner would probably have an in insurance claim. This was a wilful disregard of someone else's property.

UnapologeticallyUnhinged · 15/04/2019 10:52

Castle will be thrilled she has disrupted our group btw.

Spongebobette · 15/04/2019 11:12

Let's move on.

Castle and family are all about getting engagement with their social media and I suspect that all of the views by people on here has helped their FB and Insta algorithms

I hope all this hasn't put anyone off joining in with the live reactions on this thread to the Global Rally this year?

I still think the landlady would be grateful to have been directed to evidence of how badly the Castle clan treated her home. I also think it’s relevant to this MLM thread because MLMs encourage recruitment through this sort of event and behaviour.

I also think it’s important that we retain credibility by keeping to valid observations relevant to the deception and damage of MLMs.

The work on these threads can help a bot see the light, they can help a potential recruit question what they’re getting into. We lose that effect if we make it too personal/stalky. We play into the hands of top bots who claim that we’re jealous haters. I am no fan of the likes of Castle or Yawn, but we do have to be careful not to detract from the MLM arguments.

I started following these threads when a friend was lost to an MLM. She’s slogged her guts out for years now for clearly very little money- she hides it well but it comes out with comments like waiting to the last minute for her MOT, dropping her life insurance (she has young children) to save on premiums, and waiting another month to vaccinate her animals despite them being due. She was connected to someone at that party and I suspect she would have wanted to be there. She might have been watching with envy.

I need threads like this to engage her, if she ever finds them, and make her realise how bad things are in her MLM world, not turn her off by being too personal against bots she considers to be friends.

acatcalledjohn · 15/04/2019 11:56

Perhaps Castle and fam shouldn't behave like animals publicly. And hey, pointing the LL to the evidence before it's removed (because we all knew it would be, surprise surprise) is kind to the landlord. Until that hob is fixed she cannot let out her property, so it's loss of earnings for her as a result of some scammers using the footage to sell a lifestyle to prospective bots.

If you can't do the time, don't do the crime. And if you brag about it on your very public SM then don't cry when you get called out for it.

You have to remember that this is all part of their scam, so I wouldn't consider it stalking. That's a bit of a stretch of reality. Don't even give the cunts a chance to claim that they dropped a pan when they really broke the hob through vandalism.
