MLM Bot Watch 40 - Forever Living is 40! Yet still 99% of people in all MLM's lose money

Not making money with Forever Living?

Not making money with any MLM?

How to make money with Forever Living?
How to make money with MLM?

Maybe this report done for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by Jon M. Taylor, MBA, Ph.D., of the Consumer Awareness Institute may have the reason why.

www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/public_comments/trade-regulation-rule-disclosure-requirements-and-prohibitions-concerning-business-opportunities-ftc.r511993-00008%C2%A0/00008-57281.pdf

When someone urges you to join an MLM in their downline with tales of the riches you can earn, all they are trying to do is use you to earn themselves more money. They know the stats, they know you won't make money and you will lose money, and friends.

They will lovebomb you, be your best friend, be all over you and then drop you like a stone.

Look at the person who is your uplines facebook. See how the people who were tagged in her statuses a year ago the same way you are tagged now are doing. Are they still with the company? Many won't be. Those who are will still not be doing well, exactly the same as a year ago, or two years ago.

If you are in Forever living, check facebook for the global rally cheques of your upline, notice how they have been going down year on year? The market reached saturation point in 2015, it's downhill since then and things will get worse, not better.

Most MLM's in the UK are at the same point, we are not a huge country and MLM's have reached saturation point.

Iceland is expensive but utterly wonderful, I've visited a few times despite having a J.O.B. Hmm.

GoldenKelpie · 09/06/2018 21:33

Brokebot is rambling more than ever Shock, here's a screenshot, edited to remove identifying names. To much CBD oil? Note he now states 3-5 year plan... Hmm

I went to Iceland. Twice. For my J.O.B. Blue Lagoon, gorgeous dinners, sightseeing at the geysers. Didn’t spend a penny. Even enjoying amazing nights out in Reykjavik where nothing really even kicks off until 1am. Even in February.

Re: Broke - 3-5 years? He’s been at it for about 3 years and has got nowhere. The only bullshit I can smell is the stuff he’s shovelling. You’d think after 3 years he would have gained some sort of business chops, but all I can see is the same old crap every 4 months when he realises he’s flogging (yet another) dead horse.

SnoogyWoo · 09/06/2018 22:52

Can someone PM me the names of castle, yawn etc so I can watch Smile

Thanks

Whiterangey · 10/06/2018 00:05

@SSDGM Nothing kicks off until 1am? Wow! was it really weird with it being so dark at strange hours? Am I right in thinking in winter it's dark a lot of the time and in summer there is barely a night?

goldenkelpie (I keep an eye on this excellent thread and MNer's efforts to expose MLMs - well done, FWIW :) )

Wrt the screenshot, I've no idea whp these bots are but "brokebot" seems an old mlm-er. The quote is interesting as it shows that the easiest person to fool is oneself. And the longer you are in a cult; the more you invest in it, the harder it is to leave. I hope s/he is able to leave before all is lost.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 10/06/2018 09:49

It seems a couple of Roomie's team are a bit confused about their bonuses, sounds like they haven't got what they expected.

It makes you wonder if the whole system is complicated in order to bamboozle people so they sign up believing one thing but then discover the reality (hence the swift drop-out of many new bots). Or maybe it's never explained to them properly in the first place.

(By the way did anyone see Roomie's live rant last night which has since been removed? She really let her positivity mask slip with that!)

Happypuppy · 10/06/2018 10:24

I missed Roomies rant! What was it about?

Norma27 · 10/06/2018 10:55

Apparently yawn has had a significant pay increase from last month. Really?? Business is dropping like a lead balloon love. Lying to try and con more people into losing money. Absolutely vile behaviour.
I really wish people could be prosecuted for scamming people like this.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 10/06/2018 11:19

Happypuppy - it wasn't FL related. She was effing and blinding about a pub a few doors away having a band playing in the garden. Erm...then don't buy a terraced house (or seaside cottage as she calls it) near a pub and expect silence.

I guess she deleted it because it showed that despite being a "positivity magnet" (I still find that phrase in her fb intro fucking hilarious Grin) all is not rosy all of the time and like anyone else she is prone to getting pissed off and angry. Can't have anything less than perfect on their fb pages can they?!

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 10/06/2018 11:21

Also just noticed that Roomie has deleted the posts from her team questioning the bonus (or lack of) and general confusion.

Norma27 · 10/06/2018 11:23

Makes me laugh how quickly they delete any comments they don’t like.

Whiterangey · 10/06/2018 11:36

One of the bots who commented on roomies pay post has posted a screenshot on her own page showing a tweet from Victoria Beckham saying how much she loves Forever Bee Pollen. That sounds legit.

It doesn't look like she is selling anything, her page has no responses. She also posted to a local business and service page and has had her posts removed. She lists prices and has sales which i've not seen before, not to that extent.

What is that graph that Yawn has posted? Is it how much she owes on credit cards? 4 blue blocks with months under them and no values is meaningless, on purpose obviously, can't be giving away the truth.

I'm sure Castle posted a graph like that a while back and someone here said it is CC's. So if the graph is true, and current, she only just managed to make 4cc this month, the other months only just over 2. Is that right?

Roomie was ranting that a pub nearby had a live band and it was really late. It was 8.40pm. Lot's of swearing going on in that live.

OP posts:
Happypuppy · 10/06/2018 12:08

Thanks for that. 8:40pm! Crazy.

Twirlywooer · 10/06/2018 12:13

I just followed one of the messiah's disciples on FB (he has the same name as brokebot coincidentally!) and he instantly friend requested me. That's desperation for you.

Happypuppy · 10/06/2018 12:14

Here’s the actual tweet from Victoria Beckham:

Norma27 · 10/06/2018 12:33

Not forever bee pollen then. Of course! Have you seen all the forever bots replying? Trying to get her custom. What absolute dickheads. They are bloody everywhere.

fitgirl26 · 10/06/2018 13:23

I strongly suspect that if I suggested Forever Bee Pollen to my suffering husband who has just sneezed ten times in a row that I would not get a polite answer back. His prescription meds aren't even touching it at the moment.

Yawn is telling someone that they will be able to earn when they recruit.

I thought it was all about the product and selling it, I had no idea they actually make their money solely from recruitment and not sales.

It's apparently when they get paid team leader bonuses, so if you don't recruit you get nothing.

I'm shocked, I thought they made a fortune through sales.

OP posts:
Norma27 · 10/06/2018 13:49

I thought they made a fortune from sales too. Everyone I know buys so much of their crap. How daft are we?!
Victoria Beckham must be itching to sign up knowing how much more money she could make.

Looks like the South African number 1 (I think) has passed away. Very sad, but how sad she spent her life scamming others in such a poor nation.

Whiterangey · 10/06/2018 14:43

In true Forever Living style, other bots are using her death to try and sell and recruit.

I'm guessing they are not going to rely on pushing the health benefits of aloe vera while doing that.

Nobody in Forever will mourn her, it's all pretend, friendships are all pretend, as Yawn is finding out.

So many people will have ended up destitute in a country where there is no reliable welfare system, if you have no food you have no food. She will have wrecked lives, dreams, and families.

That's quite a legacy.

Bots will carry on using her death to try and recruit and then forget about her entirely. Her upline will be rubbing their hands with glee because I believe her entire downline will go to her, and her downline will be desperately trying to prove they were the closest to her in order to get anyone who was thinking of joining.

I’m just waiting for the ‘willable income’ line to be trotted out.
