There's been more than enough fodder on FLP on here + elsewhere to hopefully show the vunerable not to be brainwashed + not be tempted by the wolves in sheeps clothing ...that like to dangle things like castles + barns to tempt people !

darceybussell · 25/08/2017 13:59

RealBarnbot - do you not feel that the MLM business model lends itself to that bad behaviour though? The way to make a lot of money very fast isn't by recruiting a few people and everyone selling a bit, it's through recruiting as many people as possible and having them pay in. Then the market becomes saturated, the products are expensive and people can't sell them anyway, so the recruitment becomes even more important.

As a result you end up with a chain of people who are not selling very much and are all paying in. The people at the bottom then inevitably will lose money.

If everyone did it how you did it, with everyone in the team selling a few products, it would work fine, but the lure of the giant bonuses causes people to behave differently, and that is where the nastiness and bitchiness comes in.

Fullyloaded1 · 25/08/2017 14:04

She's reeled plenty of vulnerable people ....then walks away 😂

TheRealBarnbot · 25/08/2017 14:23

Hello fully loaded. The lady who was warned by police to stop harrassing my children! You were and still continue to be a local dickhead with nothing better to do than rip me apart. Started on the daycare too! Didn't your son do flp?? And didnt you support me in flp until i started to do well? BYE FELICIA ✋✋✋😂😂😂

GavinFromTradingStandards · 25/08/2017 14:34

Yes fullyloaded-you picked the wrong thread if you think you can come on here and start on barnbot-not a fucking chance you'll get away with that. There's a lot of respect on this thread for her and all the time and effort she's put into helping other people.

And harrassing children?!? Classy Hmm.

TheRealBarnbot · 25/08/2017 14:40

Recruited one person after I moved to the barn. So epic fail if I moved for mass recruiting purposes hey

cozietoesie · 25/08/2017 14:45

I haven't previously come across them, tall, but a quick look see told me enough! Sad

TheRealBarnbot · 25/08/2017 14:45

Yea called my pregnant daughter a C**T every time she saw her. After a few reports of harassment police took it further. Now she just goes to friends houses telling them what a liar I am. Yawn ✋😂

TheRealBarnbot · 25/08/2017 14:47

darcey thats always been my argument. Theres no need to pressure and bully and make people buy products they cant afford. No need at all and if people come first it stops all that bullshit. X

cozietoesie · 25/08/2017 14:51

But how many uplines do you know who actually put people 'first'? And what would happen to the company if they all did?

You, personally, may have had good experiences but others?............

Spongebobette · 25/08/2017 15:06

Wasn't FL selling products with an ingredient in that was banned by the EU?

They neglected to mention it and I wonder how many bots ended up with stock they couldn't sell

Natasha you may think it's a solid business but it's a business built on very dodgy ethics. The way that people can behave so manipulatively and the company takes no responsibility is downright wrong

TheRealBarnbot · 25/08/2017 15:06

cozie not enough unfortunately. A handful of genuine successful leaders that actually care more about downline than income. Sad but true. I always believed we could make a difference but I was fighting a losing battle and its why I will no longer be in another MLM company

TheRealBarnbot · 25/08/2017 15:07

You have to understand its so complex an industry theres so many layers. Its not so black and white

TheRealBarnbot · 25/08/2017 15:10

The irony that a user on here not mentioning names fully loaded works for a bookies! If thats not an unethical set up I dont know what is. fully if you want to discuss ripping off vulnerable people so they end up in debt and only a handful doing well.....lets start there shall we? 😂😂😂

fitgirl26 · 25/08/2017 15:19

My major issue with the whole MLM industry is the Bots who lure people in with the promise of untold riches. I've been watching the Royal Xerveo couple - I know they are supportive of Barnbot but I suspect they're just happy that she's causing people to leave Valentus and sign up with them. In the last week he has posted about being able to have 100K work done to their house thanks to the "business" and photos of a Merc costing over £100K. She posted about car shopping with a picture of a Maserati and has boasted about sending her daughter to private school thanks to "the business". Until people like them are forced out of MLM I can't ever take it seriously as a business model.

Fullyloaded1 · 25/08/2017 15:28

Eh ?

TheRealBarnbot · 25/08/2017 15:41

fully you've got no interest in the issues of mlm you're here for personal reasons that are irrelevant. Go and spend your time being productive in a campaign more suited to you..... plenty of them! Or better still feel free to contact me directly instead of using an anonymous forum to have your moment. You know where I am hun😂

SSDGM · 25/08/2017 15:53

I will forever loathe FLP as that was the original MLM that took my friends. I stated a dislike, as a businesswoman, at the mlm model and quickly found stories of bullying uplines and finally pages and pages of "testimonials" that aloe sodding Vera had cured AIDS, cancer, Autism, Fybro, Acne, etc etc etc. Finally when I shared the Daily Mail article (yes, I hate MLM more than I hate the DM -and that's saying something) and mentioned I questioned the ethics and business model of FLP I was deleted without so much as a goodbye, regardless of the friendship we had. I can't tell if either are still in the business now, but this was back in 2015 when everyone around me started joining up. It was like you were nothing if you weren't in their gang.

cozietoesie · 25/08/2017 16:00

Let's not make it so personal, eh? Smile

SSDGM · 25/08/2017 16:01

Well how about that. I just logged on to my LinkdIn and someone with the initials DP has requested to connect. Googled her name as her bio is vague and it looks like she's all up in FLP's shit. 😂

TheRealBarnbot · 25/08/2017 16:04

I didnt see anything bad until after I came on here and started to watch people more. Started speaking to people about their bad experiences and by june I had enough. Sat back and just retailed, supported team I already had then walked in January when I was sure I could no longer be a part of it. Ive spoken with BBC this week too. X

TheRealBarnbot · 25/08/2017 16:05

SSDGM Vile woman if its the "millionaire"

SSDGM · 25/08/2017 16:22

Canadian by birth by any chance?

Spongebobette · 25/08/2017 16:25

SSDGM my thoughts exactly

I loathe FL

My friend got sucked in, she had to make a dream board of all the things she wanted to achieve. One was to create enough income that her husband wouldn't have to work away from home during the week. Her upline encouraged her to think this was possible, as well as taking her kids to Florida, buying a new car and a bigger house. 'Dream big and set goals' she was told, and to identify her 'Why'

She saw others in FL with enviable lifestyles and constant positive posts ( possibly faking it till making it in some cases) All of this cleverly hooked her in and her good judgement went out the window. I know she bought stock for those 'pupp packs' or whatever they are called, and she replaced all her household products with FL.

She became a global business coach or some shite like that

A couple of years on... she never qualified for any of the 'incentives' that she posted about, she's spent money she can't afford on 'success days' and she has recently gone very quiet about FL. I expect she feels that it's all her own fault that she hasn't reached her goals.

It's so infuriating. It's clear that she was the customer, encouraged to buy products, and that her upline would recruit anybody and everybody regardless of how many reps there already were in her area and with no regard to whether someone might actually be any good at selling.

The 'training' is pitiful. It's exhortation rather than training.

The fact that there might be some 'good' uplines does not change the fact that as a business model it is exploitative and unregulated, doing terrible harm to women who can least afford it

I detest FL in particular for their disingenuousness but all MLMs are terrible IMO

Spongebobette · 25/08/2017 16:30

And Natasha, I'm pleased you have seen the light, albeit partially, but I wish you'd done some due diligence earlier.

You seem like a bright woman and have a degree, it's surely clear to you now that with a bit of research you might have informed yourself more fully and much earlier?
