She and her downline started banging on about something happening in "8 weeks time"... I wonder if that's how long it's going to take to get them all signed up to Ariix?

NewRug · 04/08/2017 22:19

Is salon boy the person who drank her piss? And made her children do so too (sorry catching up 🙈)

NewRug · 04/08/2017 22:19

Salon bot*

Just had a conversation with a Valentus rep about the Trading Standards issue, and this is what she said:

"Ahh ok. No what it is is valentus is not fully registered in the U.K for personal resale yet but we are very close! Us reps have personal links to our own websites that people can purchase from if they are interested in the products.

This sounds like word salad to my uninformed mind? Either it's approved to be sold, or it isn't? According to the rather long FB live video, the other Valentus was adamant that she immediately had to cease "trading" as the products are not for resale in the UK?

miffytherabbit1974 · 04/08/2017 22:24

And this is the Valentusbot's second response to me (my bold for emphasis.)

"I think if you wanted to buy from the Valentus website you would need to create an account which is $20. Or you can buy from a rep. Yea it's a bit confusing because there's lots of different things going round where we are a fairly new company. However we are literally weeks away from registration so it will be all clearer soon!"

This reads to me as meaning they do not yet (after all of this time!) have permission to flog Valentus products in the UK. However, it's been weasel-worded to appear opaque.

SSDGM · 04/08/2017 22:25

so the "Ruby" distributors who have recently parted with the best part of £500 to get a promotion are risking prosecution if they sell the stock.

danbarnes · 04/08/2017 22:29

I don't really understand why ValentusLiveBot was visited by Trading Standards? She's just a sales rep for the company, surely Trading Standards would visit Valentus themselves and tell them to cease trading, not individual customers business owners.

SSDGM · 04/08/2017 22:45

She's not allowed to distribute it because of the weight loss claims from what I can figure out. It's not been tested to uk standards so cant be sold with any sort of claims. Individuals can buy it and use it, but the selling to others is a no-no.

ScrewedUpLittleFace · 04/08/2017 22:51

Those weight loss claims are almost certainly illegal.

SSDGM · 04/08/2017 22:58

Any MLM weight loss claim is illegal. Including sodding Juice plus and Forever fucking Living. Hence the term "detox" bandied about. "Detox" doesn't mean anything so they can claim it.

ArbunneHun · 04/08/2017 23:03

But if you don't sell to others, it is a PYRAMID SCHEME. By legal definition. No external sales = illegal pyramid.

Ladiva1971 · 04/08/2017 23:22

Lol Stokeflatbrokebot just did an awesome live resigning from skinny coffee..............

Sean1984 · 04/08/2017 23:26

LoL brokeflat bot as "washed his hands" of the shitty coffee.... any TV producers around so we can make a comdey series with these people!!! Of course he "alway knew it wasnt sellable in the uk"....HmmConfused ffs , oh these people. Can someone PM me who your one is that trading standards visited her

SSDGM · 04/08/2017 23:28

He said he sold 90 boxes of coffee. gets calculator out

SSDGM · 04/08/2017 23:32

90x £50 a box X25% commission = £1125 earnings. He was with them for 3 months. Even if he had a small downline he can't have earned any more than £500 a month flogging the crap stuff.

Ladiva1971 · 05/08/2017 01:03

PM me please the TS visiting Bot :D

screwthepyramids · 05/08/2017 07:36

Could someone pm this live video please? Not had much luck finding it

ScrewedUpLittleFace · 05/08/2017 09:43

SSDGM
Can't imagine it's easy to sell £50 boxes of coffee either. Less than £500 per month for a lot of work (well hustling).

SSDGM · 05/08/2017 09:54

To hear him talk he was raking it in. No wonder he had to come back to Birkenhead. I shouldn't laugh. But I am.

CurlsandCurves · 05/08/2017 10:21

Hmmmm, just been to see if Salonbot had posted anything further re the coffee company. Her page is down. Can someone check it's not just me?
Interesting...

CurlsandCurves · 05/08/2017 10:25

Her Facebook page, that is.

cookiemonster888 · 05/08/2017 10:25

Found this thread as my sister-in-law has been sucked into the Forever shite. She seems to find a way to shoehorn Aloe in to every possible conversation, along with dodgy scientific assertions such as "Fluoride is a heavy metal which is banned in the US".

I am wondering where Avon fits into the MLM pyramid? One colleague has jumped from younique to Avon and many of the scripts seem exactly the same.

Supersoaryflappypigeon · 05/08/2017 10:38

Curls did you comment on John's post on Juice Plus Lies? She's blocked everyone commenting on that post I think. I can still nosy from DH's Facebook Grin

TrippleFlappyDiamondSparrow · 05/08/2017 10:39

I am so happy Valentus have had a knock back like this. Hahahaha. smug grin
