I snorted a bit when I saw he now has to get a regular job to pay the rent. They guy is a spiv, plain and simple.

Interesting to see on his now ex's rant that more than 1 ex bot is telling the truth about MLMs being a scam. Just a shame they have to learn the hard way.

Oh dear... a lovely friend of mine has just gotten into arbonne. She's a really nice person but I fear a tad too trusting :( she has a chronic illness and has done all the 'clean eating' stuff - she's even done 'bible diet' (she's an evangelical xtian...)

Any tips on gentle refusals for the inevitable approach? Do I risk telling her this is all woo? How bad is arbonne?

You'll find more information about the company you mentioned there. I should warn you - like the others, it doesn't make for pleasant reading.

That scouse bloke is really something else. I have never seen someone brag about themselves so much - now he's claiming he's so amazing at normal sales jobs that he will have employers biting his hand off to give him a job. He's also saying he can't pay his rent while at the same time pretending he was amazingly successful in MLM. I can only conclude that he's a bit simple!

I think he must be. Claiming to be super successful in NM and yet can't even pay the rent. He doesn't even have a car to run so he must be flat broke. If you have a very successful NM business, it doesn't just stop paying you immediately. It's reduced over time so I can only conclude that his success was somewhat exaggerated??

Having done some timeline stalking of ScouseStokeFlatFormerNuSkinOneCoinAriixEDinarNewCoffeeBot, I don't believe he's passed his driving test.

The lines are very blurred between fact & fiction in his life. I suspect that 'broke and desperate' is closer to the truth than 'got 500 people defecting from Valentus to Lean Java Bean and I'm buying a mansion'.

It's very sad. A personality disintegrating before people's eyes, likely helped by ...........iced tea. I hope it comes as a salutary lesson.

Just say no, and don't justify your reasons. If she persists, say no again. If she still won't stop banging on about it, tell her you're very happy with the products you're using now and will let her know if you change your mind in the future - then simply don't.
