Still going strong here at bot watch HQ on MN!

Previous thread here

Botwatch on Wordpress and on Facebook

Timeless Vie on Wordpress and on Facebook

Eyespeying's Blog aka #manhun, even if he's been banned by MNHQ

Hommetepreneur on Facebook

NEW Link to the Daily Mail article of 20 May 2016 regarding an ex-bot's treatment at the hands of her 'spline' at Forever Living UK

NEW Link to NastashaBarnbotShingles' refutation of the above.

We have our own regularly returning bots to tell us how bullying and hateful we are.

Glossary:

Bots: our affectionate name for victims of the MLM racket

MLM: Multi-level Marketing schemes - essentially pyramid schemes that are just legal because you sell a product. Reliant upon constant recruitment despite there not being enough people in the world to go beyond about 12 levels if everyone recruited 6.

Downline/Upline: the people you recruited and those who recruited you (going up and down the pyramid inverted funnel)

Timeless Vie: Parody of MLM schemes (though you might spot one in particular) that also carries out fearless investigative work

Hommetrepreneur: also excellent parody site focussing on the menz

BotWatch: Rather more serious, keeps an eye on what the Bots are claiming next, particularly in reference to health and income claims. Also fearless.

Inverted Funnel: Timeless Vie is NOT a pyramid - it's an inverted Funnel, OK?

Eyes: Our former member Eyespying who knows LOTS about MLM schemes. He's still our very own #manhun.

Twunk (AKA ForeverYazoonique) has a bottle of Banana Yazoo in her fridge. She's still too afraid to drink it. Yahoo is important as seems to be the primary retail product for Life Tree World.

Arrrggghhhh - Younique Bots are multiplying this week in my life. One has obviously infiltrated my Facebook circle of trust Angry

Just received this invite to an online party which I'm about to shoot down in flames but just look at the claim I've highlighted in red?!? They are not new to the UK, I've known about Younique for a good couple of years and am going to call bullshit on this post!

shot I love your username. 😂😂Would the bot who used that phrase to insult a very brave whistleblower use a gun, a crossbow, a peashooter, or a water pistol filled with aloe?

ForeverYazoonique · 27/05/2016 21:00

When did Younique launch? I honestly have no idea but it's at least 1 year as we started talking about it about 11 months ago...

OP posts:
Toobusytowee · 27/05/2016 21:13

Forever, Younique launched in the UK at the end of 2014. Which is recent if you consider how long dinosaurs were around and how long people have existed. I suppose.

DebbieDallas · 27/05/2016 21:15

Bumpingalong how about replying 'hi Hun I think you are using the 2015 version of the Younique script from when they were first launched in the uk. I'd have a word with your upline as that wording is never going to get you higher up the pyramid'

That or post one of those amusing passive aggressive Younique memes that are out there.

cozietoesie · 27/05/2016 21:24

Ouch.

Toobusytowee · 27/05/2016 21:25

Wow, I just read Timeless Vie's post on the replies Candice got for doing her article. All those people suffering in silence and then the two bots that beautifully demonstrate even further why people are suffering.

And what a fantastic insult to use! Are we talking bullets with tiny amounts of poo in them? Or water balloon type bags full of faecal matter? Because I think it makes a difference.

bumpingalong9386 · 27/05/2016 21:25

Grin or maybe go with - I don't want hairy spider lashes. k thanks bye Hun! Halo

cozietoesie · 27/05/2016 21:26

Anyway - you know better than to use the 'P' word. It's an ETM. Grin

BSintolerant · 27/05/2016 21:50

Those spider lashes are something else. I'd hate to go around looking like I'd got overgrown pubes superglued to my eyes - it's just wrong! 🙈😂

cozietoesie · 27/05/2016 23:45

I've just been trying out the MLM evaluation tool linked to in BotWatchBlog.

cozietoesie · 27/05/2016 23:46

Sorry - linked to in the first BotWatch piece. Smile

cozietoesie · 27/05/2016 23:53

I'm sure people will have noticed this thread.

It doesn't look as if AIBU posters need any input on the issue, luckily. 🙂

LMGTFY · 28/05/2016 08:29

cozie wow, that's awful.

romoca · 28/05/2016 08:53

A bank? A hospital? Where next? A funeral parlour??? Glad I do t do this anymore I would of never been able to set up stalls at a school fete let alone trying in banks & hospitals.Confused

cozietoesie · 28/05/2016 10:07

Gosh. The mere thought of such a product in a funeral parlour...

Not even the most determined adherent would dare.

BSintolerant · 28/05/2016 14:26

I don't know cozie, imagine what would happen if the bots joined forces and became network funeral marketers...

Forever Fibbing could embalm the body with aloe gloop, Youneeek! could make the deceased look ten years younger with pube-lash makeup, It Works could shroud the body in one of their wraps and LTW could use their well appointed HQ as a funeral parlour, deliver the body of the late Mrs Wampum (as well as the late groceries) to its final resting place in the back of white bot van driven by a chauffeur dressed in pink, and provide a buffet at the wake consisting of Yazoo and Weetabix.

It wouldn't last long because Jizz Plus has got a miracle cure to bring the dead back to life.

RIP? Fat chance! Grin

BSintolerant · 28/05/2016 14:35

Nearly forgot: professional mourning services to be provided by bots who eeeeek and weep a lot. 😂😂

cozietoesie · 28/05/2016 19:40

'IF YOU WANT MORE, GIVE MORE'. (From a sample meme on BotWatchBlog.)

Now that is heavily ironic. I guess that that MLM didn't realise what had been said. Smile

cozietoesie · 28/05/2016 20:36

Sorry - I forgot the link.

botwatchblog

🙂

BleakBetty · 28/05/2016 21:17

BSintolerant your MLM funeral post had me creasing.

My favourite part was the Weetabix and Yazoo buffet. And Mrs Wampum. And the bit about Jizz Plus.

My sides!

BleakBetty · 28/05/2016 21:19

They'd be trying to recruit all the mourners. Shame Mrs Wampum wasn't an FL bot herself. She could've lived on through her 'willable income'.

JoolsSchmools · 28/05/2016 21:30

Has anyone heard of Maelle? Its got one of those umlaut things on the first e but can't do it on phone.
Fb friend has just "launched" her page, looking for extra money blah blah.
Its a premium make up and beauty company launching in "the fall" apparently.

cozietoesie · 28/05/2016 21:40

That would be the ones with eg the compensation plan, the incentive trips, the events and the 'social selling'?
