I still haven't tried the Yazoo in my parents' fridge. We leave Saturday afternoon - I will see if I have the courage before then. I'm sure it's delicious but banana-flavoured milk isn't my thing Grin

It will be chilled, Twunk. That should make it fairly OK. Smile

gottaloveascamhun · 05/05/2016 21:24

I craved milky drinks when pregnant and drank quite a bit of yazoo :)

FLhahaha · 05/05/2016 21:39

I like the East End stuff too. My Tesco does those cans with the offer above, and the big packs of spices I have seen on LTW pics. Does anyone have prices? Would love to compare.

cozietoesie · 05/05/2016 22:06

Anyway - enough of wampum. Wink

Has anyone got the links for Timeless Vie and Botwatch so that people can read the latest? (I'm not really up to doing links, here.)

BeckyMcDonald · 05/05/2016 23:00

Just read the blog post Toobusy. That's an outstanding piece of journalism. No wonder it's being viewed by thousands of people. Keep up the good work.

Thank you Becky.

Perhaps not MLM but had my first interview as I'm getting back to OK mental health again, I got lied into going to an "interview" for Zenith Windows, no actual salary just commission based and according to online they accept anyone, basically it seems they have a team leader and you're part of a team you get £600-£800 a sale, and basically the team manager gets a cut from Your cut so they have a downline. Apparently the minimum people get is 25k a year upto 172k

cozietoesie · 06/05/2016 07:29

I trust you didn't accept a position, eyesores?

xenu1 · 06/05/2016 07:55

eeyorestails replacement windows is a tough biz but AFAIK Zenith is not an MLM, in that you don't pay to join, you don't have to buy endless windows yourself (and store them in the garage) and I don't think they charge for tools/training. However i'd be interested if they allow anyone who's signed up to be able immediately to recruit others?

cozietoesie · 06/05/2016 08:05

I'd also like to know just how they presented these projected 'returns'?

DoTheMLMHustle · 06/05/2016 08:35

I'm finding it quite amusing that the MLM trolls that join our thread seem to think that we are under some kind of obligation to stick to 'compliance'. This is a chat forum!

We are all individuals with our own opinions. We don't act as one voice. If someone writes something, Mn can delete the comment, but we dont have admins here like other forums.

However the MLM's do have laws and regulations they have to stick to, and regularly don't.

My bot seems to be ignoring the rules around declaring how much you can earn a month. I wonder if I could make her pay met he amount she's stating as it looks like it's guaranteed by the way she's advertised it

cozietoesie · 06/05/2016 08:44

It's a chat forum, sure, but it's not our chat forum. People should always be mindful of that, Do. They post on this site/thread within certain rules which, while they may not be statutory, are nonetheless present.

You're right of course about MLM compliance - or otherwise in the case of some adherents. BotWatch might be interested in anything you have to tell them? Smile

Toobusytowee · 06/05/2016 09:09

Eeyorestails, I agree, it doesn't sound like an MLM but it still sounds stressful. You probably need a nice standard job where you go to work, go home and get paid a set amount each month. I wouldn't last ten minutes in a commission only business.

DoTheMLMHustle · 06/05/2016 09:39

We have guidelines Cozie, which I think most of us stick to. There are threads on here that talk about celebrities etc and it's fine, it's chat, I can say I think Trump is a twat - and that's fine. We are not under the same laws and regulations that the scam MLM's operate under.

That's why we're here, because they don't stick to the rules. And for a laugh about the way our bots pretend to be earning millions

Toobusytowee · 06/05/2016 09:44

DotheMLMhustle, if an MLM recruiting advert seems to be giving the impression of a good wage without being realistic, e.g comission only, takes a lot of work, you can report to the ASA. I reported a couple of ads for that. They are investigating one of them.

It is easy to report them, just google ASA complaint. Look for the online form to fill in and then send it off. It only takes a couple of minutes.

Or if you prefer, you can refer it to Bot Watch if the advert allows comments to be made under it. A little reminder of the rules might be needed, and then a formal complaint if it isn't fixed.

DoTheMLMHustle · 06/05/2016 09:56

You already have this one I think Too

Fakeittillyourakeit · 06/05/2016 10:26

I totally agree dothemlm we do not need to have the rules constantly pointed out to us, we are all intelligent, educated grown ups here (well, mostly) If MN feel that something breaches the rules, they will remove it, otherwise there is no other need to keep going over and over and over the topic. The bots have great fun diverting the thread with it and we keep indulging it. Enough please, It is a chat forum, if we cannot openly chat about the thread topic then whats the point?

cozietoesie · 06/05/2016 10:48
