A brief history of the threads so far-

A few people were bemused at their friends' strange personality changes when they joined MLMs.
Eyespying told us they were tragicomic, thought stopping cultic racketeers.
We told him to go away, he was clearly obsessed, and can he go to his own serious thread?
We delved a bit deeper into the issues.
Eyes started creeping back. We told him he was too serious.
We became more horrified at the information being turned up and were sharing links.
Eyes told us aboutMerchants of Deception.
Timeless Vie was set up as a parody about MLMs.[[www.facebook.com/timelessvie
Facebook,]] Twitter, blog, Instagram and YouTube were all used.
People started coming forward, telling of their experiences in MLMs.
We became more horrified.
Bot Watch started on Facebook where links were put up of interest to do with MLMs.
Botwatchblog started and produced factual analysis of the discussions from MN.
MLM members (bots) waded in saying it was all ok. You can earn great money. You just have to work 19 hours a day and not worry about morals.
Bots complained about their names being used. Their lawyers complained to MNHQ so that MN now do not allow us to use bots' names or show screengrabs of their writings even if it is in the public domain.
Blogs and FB posts increased, with the increasing amount of facts and whistleblowers coming forward.
FL lawyer tried to get TV YouTube video banned.
Bots claimed we were bullying them because we were asking them questions they couldn't answer. we were called middle aged women and accused of being drug dealers.
It got a bit nasty so we ate some cheese for a bit and they went away.
Health claims from FL bots now reducing dramatically as a result of pestering from all of us.
We stopped telling Eyes he was too serious. We all started thinking in his language and realised he was right.
Eyes turned out to be very funny and entertained us all.
Sunday Times article produced exposing FL. With a little help from people here.
Lawyers still persisting in trying to ban TV's videos.

I'm continually astounded by all of this.

This bot harps on about their 'residual income which will provide for their children indefintely' which is clearly bollocks then you have scenarios like this where, realistically they're probably subbing this 'trip of a lifetime courtesy of Forever' by at least £10k.

It's scary.

cozietoesie · 31/03/2016 20:59

It seems to be that meal allowances are 'proportionate to his/her qualifications'. If you've just scraped in, you better take some sandwiches in your pockets, I guess.

smiinky · 31/03/2016 21:07

Bots gone to Iceland

Sad
Toobusytowee · 31/03/2016 21:07

Here's a sad cheque.

The rallies sound like nothing more than a gushing success day abroad. It certainly isn't a holiday and it is (unless you're a 2.5k + qualifier) not entirely free.

I'm sure I read before that people who are residents of the host country of the rally only need something like 75cc a year to attend, I assume this is to make it look like there are significantly more 'high achievers'. Not to mention that these people don't get anything paid for at all, no travel expenses and good ol' Rex owns all the hotels/reserves so he isn't really paying for much, in reality he probably earns a lot of money from these rallies.

Motorheadmum · 31/03/2016 21:13

toobusy thank you. My bot has a certificate saying she has achieved that level and a metal pin badge.... So I guess that means she will see a big cheque this year...

Toobusytowee · 31/03/2016 21:18

Big in physical size but probably a small monetary size. There's a website with photos of all the people and their cheques from last year. Loads and loads of $3-4k.

Oh that 'Top 100' website? It made for some interesting reading.

cozietoesie · 31/03/2016 21:20

Ah No. You have another website.

Patzy85 · 31/03/2016 21:25

Lots of rather menial cheques toobusy. I imagine there's small print somewhere on them that says it's actually just credit towards their own products GrinGrin

smiinky · 31/03/2016 21:27

I'm underwhelmed.
And the hysteria surrounding it. Go all the way to South Africa donning a shitty polo shirt (that you paid for) and waving a giant flag (that you paid for) and screaming like a one direction fan, with thousands of others, for a poxy cheque. It's almost North Korean. Rex is Kim Aloe Un.
I'm gonna write my invoices tomorrow. When my clients cough up and the bank transfers come through. I'm gonna go into the garden and cry and wave a giant flag for each one. I'm obviously not making enough fuss.

Motorheadmum · 31/03/2016 21:35

Omg they aren't the size of cheque i was imagining... This is the woman who was telling me just over a month after she had started that she was earning more than when she was working full time! Hmmm liar liar I think! The amount of products she gives away for prizes etc I'm not surprised she has got this far it must be costing her an absolute fortune.

Toobusytowee · 31/03/2016 21:35

I've really got to stop reading policies now, I've got some Bot watching to do. I'll just leave you with this gem- Forever Living don't even consider the 'Forever Business Owners' to be business owners. Point b.

I don't think it's lying in any sense in which we would understand it, Motorhead. They believe!

(Re-read the end of 1984 when Winston is in the cafe .)

Patzy85 · 31/03/2016 21:42

Smiinky- it's all about the recognition!! The public sectors workers who then do it always bang on about the "recognition". It's an ego thing mostly, it makes them feel successful and important even if they're just playing business-by-numbers whilst being their 'own best customer'!

And on top of this, they drink a daily shot of grass-jizz.

Patzy85 · 31/03/2016 21:44

Toobusy - a bot famous for her wonderful upper facial hair claims she works "in partnership" with Forever Living.

I wonder how they feel about that claim.

LMGTFY · 31/03/2016 21:50

So, my bot is going on the 18th, what does this mean in terms of income?

cozietoesie · 31/03/2016 21:51

If I were a Stratospheric One - particularly if faced with the New Kid On The Block - I'd be ready to announce a big new product line at SA 2016. (Scenes of sobbing with gratitude in the aisles etc)

Be ready for some diversification. Wink

FrenchPenPal · 31/03/2016 21:52

Botwatching tonight. Looks like they have branded Team GB t shirts for South Africa.

cozietoesie · 31/03/2016 21:55

I don't know, French. If I wanted to make a name for myself with the organisation, I'd be going bigger on the the whole 'International Family' bit.

FrenchPenPal · 31/03/2016 22:05

Very snazzy.

Just avoid them at the airport. It would be easy to think they are some kind of sports star or team and you want to get your selfie with them!

Patzy85, maybe that bot is sticking to this policy on recruiting people.

...and if you want a snazzy t shirt it will set you back £35 each. Not sure whether it is tax deductible as uniform?

Toobusytowee · 31/03/2016 22:16

LMGTFY, if your bot is going on the 18th, that means their team has earned more than 2500 CC in a year. Unless they are going on that date because they have paid for some extra time either side of the paid for bit. I can't relate that to earnings or bonus level. It all gets a bit complicated and my brain is melting now.
