No champagne here, but at least the mainstream media has ventured down the 'MLM' rabbit hole again. The Sunday Times article is as good as can be expected at this stage. The most basic common-sense questions were not put to the corporate officers of the UK front company, but their dumb reactions to these questions would have revealed that this is a vast criminal fraud which even those fronting it don't don't fully understand. All the predictable defence scripts were deployed by the 'FLP' bosses, and the Sunday Times repeated them (albeit with tongue in cheek).

Essentially the UK FL shill Bots, and front-company stooges, have all thrown up their hands in horror, and pretended that they were completely unaware that anything dodgy was going on within the moral and ethical ranks of FLP in the UK, but now that these isolated dodgy practises have come to light, they will put a stop to them.

The much bigger story here was not reported - that MN members have started a campaign to expose so-called 'MLM' as the cover for a vast cultic racket which not only steals its core-victims time, and money, and renders them incapable of complaining, but also destroys families, friendships and communities.

throwingpebbles · 06/03/2016 08:46

a chat thread to spread the word outside of these ones

rayofhope · 06/03/2016 08:46

Hopefully they'll pop on here to tell us how well they do with their mlm company.......

I've bought the Scottish Sunday Times, can't find the article on page 11 of main paper. Wondering where it is, or even if it is in this edition. I've read the one posted above, brilliant Grin

Mootpointer · 06/03/2016 09:14

In from left field with this ...Fantastic idea here for TV Grin

As you were.

GreenGoblin0 · 06/03/2016 09:19

O M G hunz that Sunday times article is amazeballs!!!

Bovnydazzlers · 06/03/2016 09:22

Has anyone contacted/twittered etc any of the other mainstream media players in the recent weeks with links to botwatch/these threads/TV?

I feel there is enough evidence attached to, like eyes says, raise huge questions bigger than just hinted at in the ST article about the whole MLM fraud. As it's now in ST they may pay more notice now and want to get the better scoop on it.

Bovnydazzlers · 06/03/2016 09:24

Castlebot will not be having a good Mother's Day, got to feel for her a little, 2 years in and the face of FL mistakes...

darceybussell · 06/03/2016 09:36

Morning #pussies! Great news! Is there a story behind it that we're allowed to know about? Did the ST approach you last?

rayofhope · 06/03/2016 09:36

So forever say they are taking it all very seriously, but we all know that's only happening now that the ASA etc are looking into them. They were happy to turn a blind eye before.

Do you know what the scary thing is, the top offenders in the company will just have their contract terminated and Forever will say they were never part of it. Frightening how disposable you can be to cover face.

We've all seen the 'fake it til you make it' even when people deny they're doing it........

Eyespying · 06/03/2016 09:40

Bovnydazzlers Various journalists have been directed to these threads and not just UK journalists.

I always find it amazing that all these 'MLM' front-companies have peddled essentially the same so-called 'business/income opportunity,' but when you simply ask how many individuals have bought into any particular so-called business/income opportunity since it was first instigated?, let alone what have been the quantifiable results of this alleged business/income opportunity?, absolutely no one employed by any 'MLM' front-company can supply this key-information.

To date, as far as I'm aware, no journalist has had the gumption (or balls) to put such elementary questions to 'MLM' shill Bots or front-company stooges, and then ask them: What possible lawful reason can you supply to explain why the key-information contained in the answers these common-sense questions has always been withheld from the public, the media and from regulators?

bossbabebot · 06/03/2016 09:42

Hahahaha this all makes sense now! Castlebot aka sundaytimesbot hastily produced her 'I am so honest.... Honest!' Web page to prove how honest she is ( because of mindset training if you say it often enough it will come true - I am skinny I am skinny I am skinny - nope not working because it is bollocks) all because she knew the shit storm was coming.....

This is the best Mother's Day ever!!!!!

Bovnydazzlers · 06/03/2016 09:44

I agree eye that ST didn't asks the huge questions, hopefully Pandora's box has now been opened...

stopfaffing · 06/03/2016 09:45

Well, I'm cross that the article doesn't seem to be in the Scottish ST Hmm, because FL cover Scotland too Can I get a refund? Wink

I predict a riot ... Ah that's a song isn't it?

And EYES this is truly tragicomic isn't it? ( opens new bottle of vodka.. And pours)

Aloedofcrap · 06/03/2016 09:58

As a long time lurker on all the threads and very occasional poster, I think it is brilliant what all of you dedicated bot watchers and eyes have achieved.

Whilst the ST article doesn't address the issue of it clearly being a pyramid scheme which takes advantage of vulnerable people it really is a great start and hopefully the beginning of further investigations from journalists.

All my bots have gone very quiet, which can only be a good thing.

Well done to you all! (Shame there was no recognition of you all in the article)

Will EC be the fall girl? How long before she is promoting air purifiers that cost more than a second hand car?

Totally agree eyes

Eyespying · 06/03/2016 10:21

The fact the Greater Manchester Police Service has been mentioned in this ST article will probably hasten the demise of the 'FLP' racket in the UK. Unfortunately, I was unable to persuade any of my police contacts to speak to Robin Henry. When EC openly contacted my Blog ordering me to remove all reference to her vulnerable emotional state at the time she was recruited, I was approached by some of EC's former colleagues in Manchester. Only one of these police officers was prepared to identify himself, but not publcly. He confimed that EC's former colleagues were all thoroughly disgusted by her behaviour; particularly, her crocodile tearful exploitation of the murders of two WPC's (whom she didn't even know) to make money.

Patzy85 · 06/03/2016 10:21

EC would never fake it til she made it. Leased car and rented castle aside.

Anyone remember when she made it look like she had bought it?

I would love to be a fly on the wall in all the top bots homes right now. Maybe this was why all the boys have been so quiet. The news maybe filtered down. I've noticed that bots being particularly quiet and careful this week.
