eyes according to the video her mum was in her downline, and so is her sister. AND her parents owned her home in Manchester.

Last, I too have mixed feelings about EC. See my former post about mlm friend who realised she was good but at the expense of others.

Eyespying · 06/03/2016 18:48

chuckingstones Well spotted, but this must have been everywhere in this type of publication, because no one in a position of responsibility in the Police has understood what lies behind it, let alone tried to stop it.

Eyespying · 06/03/2016 18:51

lastuseraccount123 It's been said before, but the one member of EC's family who doesn't seem to feature very prominently in the 'FLP' propaganda, if at all, has been her dad.

Eyespying · 06/03/2016 18:58

There's enough material here in these magazines for Robin Henry to write another article on 'FLP.' This time about the racket's widespread infiltration of the UK Police Service. I just wish some police officers would have the courage to come forward and say openly who they are, and what they know.

Years back, my brother boasted of how 'Amway' couldn't possibly be fraud because police officers were members of his group. My late mother signed over hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of property into my brother's name, convinced he was a involved in a lawful business, and she scoffed at my insistence that he was involved with criminals.

chuckingstones · 06/03/2016 18:58

Also, check signature number 4 on Page 5 of this document - www.wiltshire.gov.uk/wilts-armed-forces-community-covenant.pdf - quite sad really Hmm

Eyespying · 06/03/2016 19:09

chuckingstones The presence of the 'FLP' racket in this document is disgraceful.

Despite what it says in this covenant about looking after members, and former members, of the armed forces, my father was in the armed forces during WWII, and his country's government certainly didn't look after my interests when I asked for help.

love it chucking

How can a distributor sign on behalf of Forever Living?

cozietoesie · 06/03/2016 19:16

I'm reminded of talking to an ex WWII British sailor once about the UK's fight with the U-boats. He told me that the ordinary seamen had immense sympathy at a personal level for the German matelots. (They'd rescue them from the sea where they could possibly do it.) That didn't stop the navy from sinking their boats though.

I do feel some sympathy on a personal level for current MLM distributors and 'leaders' - but like that sailor, I see no reason to let their boats go on unscathed.

Eyespying · 06/03/2016 19:26

cozietoesie The best British war film is 'The Cruel Sea' which portrays the battle of Atlantic not only as a fight to the death between two nations, but as a fight with another more dreadful enemy, the elements.

cozietoesie · 06/03/2016 19:33

Sailors are sailors, Eye, whatever their nationality - and I believe that if we ignored the fact that adherents are basically fellow humans, we would be the lesser for it. It appears to be a tension but it's not really to my mind. What people can not abide is the concept, the system - which almost seems to be self perpetuating now. You stay in the system and you go down with it. You leave - and I'll welcome you back with open arms.

That's how I feel myself, anyway.

Patzy85 · 06/03/2016 19:36

While it would have been nice for these threads to have been mentioned (especially since that's why these things are coming to light) the fact that this article exists is really something. It's plain as day, right there in print that this 'dream' is fake, unethical and that people have lost out because of it.

I think it is just the start!

chuckingstones · 06/03/2016 19:42

cunting virus - that's a phrase that'll stick with me for a while last GrinGrinGrin

throwingpebbles · 06/03/2016 19:45

Totally agree cozie

LeanneBattersby · 06/03/2016 19:53

Join Forever Livkng, they said. You can pick your own hours, they said. Is that why my bot has just spent Mothers' Day (and, in fact, the whole weekend) at some weird training thing with some guy called Wes? And I'm guessing FL didn't pay for her training, either.

ambler21 · 06/03/2016 19:55

Can anyone with a sub to the ST let us know what the comments on the article are looking like?

Eyespying · 06/03/2016 19:57

cozietoesie I've always been fascinated by volunteer lifeboatmen/women and their willingness to put to sea no matter what the conditions, if lives were in danger. When all other boats are heading for safety, the lifeboat ploughs through the waves in the other direction. I've taken pretty much the same attitude when dealing with the cult phenomenon. I'd got used to having virtually no one else on board, but MN has changed all that.

Bovnydazzlers · 06/03/2016 20:29

These are nothing ground breaking, but these were found in a few minutes of a Facebook #aloe search.
If FLP was really bothered about it's distributors claims, it would be pretty easy to police the #aloe #foreverliving hashtags....

...but they don't.

It all speaks to how they try to make distributors feel good about what they're doing I think. It's part of the system.

Patzy85 · 06/03/2016 20:47

Can anyone let us know what comments have been posted on the Sunday Times article?

thetemptationofchocolate · 06/03/2016 20:52

I will predict that, in order to prevent further investigation, a number of lingering British FL shill Bots are going to be excommunicated along with the current corporate officers of the UK front company. All these persons are going to be accused of breaking, and/or not enforcing, the company's rules/code of ethics by the 'FLP' Ministry of Truth. Some of them might then defy the gagging clauses in their contracts, and openly protest that they were acting with the full-knowledge and approval of the bosses of FLP, and that their protests were completely ignored by the organization's own kangaroo court internal system of justice.

Dash it all Eyes, you've been reading ahead in the script :)

Of course, this is exactly what happened with IBS/Amway.

Annie65 · 06/03/2016 20:52

Aww Spy, Im so glad that we have all stuck together, even though we dont know each other in person we have a unique bond on here. No matter how the shillbots tried to come on here threatening, intimidating, playing the victim, we never let it faze us and if anything they encouraged us to carry on. The difference between us and them is they are like lemmings, copying and agreeing with each other, whereas us, well, we have disagreed and argued even fell out with each other, but like true friends, which I think we are, we listen to each other, help each other, give our own opinions and also help and encourage bots who have had the courage and bravery to come away from the cults they were in. We have done all this with no rewards of money, no hidden agendas, just wanting to genuinely help. THATS THE DIFFERENCE FRIENDS, A BIG PAT ON THE BACK FOR US ALL.Grin
