I have that said training book in front of me and not anywhere does it say that!
I would suggest that maybe you expand on when that was printed or where it's from??

Melaw21 · 24/02/2016 14:40

The only posters who dont get polite responses on here are those that come on here name calling and being aggressive. You have not done that to my knowledge... You are frustrated and defensive, I can see that in todays posts, (which is understandable) but you have not been agressive.

NatashaBarnBotShingles · 24/02/2016 14:42

I show MY story! I don't copy the story of others! Ironically to keep MY business honest! You forget I have hundreds of people on my social media who have known me for many years, family in lots of different countries all following MY story! Why wouldn't I show them and anyone else who's interested what it's done for me??

NatashaBarnBotShingles · 24/02/2016 14:44

I of course feel to defend to a certain degree, my own character being questioned for one! Although I do understand why that is and I accept that's part of putting myself out there so I'm not angry about that at all, contrary to popular belief I am human after all!!

VegoDoll · 24/02/2016 14:45

But a lot of the questions asked are veiled hostile statements rather than questions.

NatashaBarnBotShingles · 24/02/2016 14:47

Probably..... Bit like it was easy to work out who "barn bot" was! But hey, who's counting! This is my point! You guys are doing things on here that you are so against in MLM???? I'm all for a bit of genuine debate but you can't critique something you do yourself!

NatashaBarnBotShingles · 24/02/2016 14:49

And please stop putting words in my mouth! I'm a victim? I'm frustrated? I'm this I'm that! Honestly if I'm feeling brainwashed to the point I can't have my own thoughts it would be on here right now !!

I haven't got time now to go through every post but ...

nextyearrodney - the company does the refunds. I don't get involved at all (unless I want to) past the here's the info and this is what to do stage and I don't loose my commission on that sale - it's in my bank account within 3 hours anyway. Refunds happen fast and easily, along with replacements, when required. Have personally had a faulty product replaced within minutes of me emailing our support team (a brush that started shedding after 6 months use). Have had 3 or 4 customers request refunds in 15 months, due to ordering the wrong shade mostly.

eyes - where was my reluctance? I told you how the commission worked 9 threads ago. I was asked a direct question today, I answered. Please be honest in your descriptions of me.

Roseformeplease - they're the old models on Argos, not the current stock. Wink I guess Argos bought them bulk and are selling off. But either way, you can buy Y from the website direct - you don't have to go via a presenter. It's just rather than spending on adverts, they spend on us demonstrating the products, on our faces. That's how I sell. I wear it, people see the photos, videos or the real life version and say "can I get some of that foundation?".

nextyearrodney · 24/02/2016 14:51

If I recall the nick names like 'barn bot' started to ensure compliance with MN talk guidelines. Are you saying you'd prefer your real name to be used then In these threads?

NatashaBarnBotShingles · 24/02/2016 14:52

By answering yes or no gives u no explanation as to WHY. Yes I do show my story. That opens flood gates! WHY I show my story makes it maybe a little more understandable! Remember this is MY opinion so I want people to know why I do what I do. Can't speak for everyone and yes and no is too general for the majority of these questions to be fair

It was! Numerous times! However I'm not arguing that as an issue I was merely pointing out a flip side!

How convenient natasha Smile
I will get toobusy to explain where it came from......

But now you know you cannot even use personal anecdotes (ie testimonials) perhaps you need to stop telling the fictional story about how it was a miracle cure for your daughter and you????

Anyway, I'd better get back to drug dealing Smile

cozietoesie · 24/02/2016 14:56

That's so negative, Vego. Look at the opportunity you have here after all. Change last's mind and you'll be on immediate 'uplifting' to the stratosphere. (Change Eye's mind and I'd imagine they'd more or less give you the company!)

Great prospects.Smile

Roseformeplease · 24/02/2016 14:57

Why, Natasha, do those selling refuse to put prices on things? If I see someone asking for the price of x powder or y mascara, the answer is always, "I'll pm you". Why? Surely a widely available price list would put to rest a lot of people's concerns about this being a scam? How, without a price list, do I know that I am not being charged a different rate from someone else?

cozietoesie · 24/02/2016 15:00

Now be fair, Rose. They do have prices on the direct selling part of the website.

Smile
NatashaBarnBotShingles · 24/02/2016 15:01

I made a point that as everyone is "anonymous" you don't actually know who's got any real credibility to have an opinion. You have to understand I have upset many people in the past by simply being outspoken! Not anything to do with MLM! They have then watched me become in their eyes successful, it wouldn't matter what career I did it in they would still find issues. I am just me! No conspiracy to tell! I was making a point that I know some users are on here now to absolutely stick the knife in and that they have zero problem with MLM it's me they have a problem with. Most of what I've read on here is good old fashioned debate and I respect that and these should be questions that get asked and the ones I can answer I will as I do think as a general MLM isn't as bad as people think on a whole.... If done properly. But like I said earlier I am human, as you guys don't know who that person is and I do I am aware which posts are directed to me in a completely different way. Now I will state this before I'm told I'm diverting .... I'm not diverting just wanted to have my say on that particular point!

Eyespying · 24/02/2016 15:03

'eyes - where was my reluctance? I told you how the commission worked 9 threads ago. I was asked a direct question today, I answered. Please be honest in your descriptions of me.'

This particular 'MLM' BS (which seeks falsely to portray me as dishonest), is coming from someone who had previously been steadfastly pretending that commission payments in 'MLMs' are not in any way linked to recruiting in a never-chain, but to the sale of products.

NatashaBarnBotShingles · 24/02/2016 15:06

There's different reasons for that. If I was to promote a price publically and say your friend saw I was doing it slightly cheaper they would come to me. That's not ethical. Same as I would go to asda if cheaper than tesco. So it's the same concept. However in also creates or generates a curiosity which many retail stores on the high street do to before anyone suggests this is sinister. For example "click here for great offers" that kind of thing. Also be mindful that if you put a price on a post you will absolutely get one unethical pain in the arse commenting below with "I will do it cheaper" .... It stops this stuff happening so much

NatashaBarnBotShingles · 24/02/2016 15:07

Good point and I actually hadn't thought of that so yes I agree, if the questions are genuinely about MLM of course

rayofhope · 24/02/2016 15:08

natasha do you think momentum is slowing? I've noticed not so many people have been promoted recently (I'm taking the figures from the Forever magazines) Is this because there are so many people already doing Forever, so it's harder to get people on board? I know when I was chatting to people about the opportunity, a lot would say that there was already loads in their town/village doing Forever so they just weren't interested.

I also do believe that it's easier for you to get people on board as you can say that you've got all these free holidays from Forever, moving into a bigger house etc than say someone who's just started and has no history with the company.

Do you then let new recruits use your story to help them recruit? This is what I was told to do. I was to say that I was on track to be earning X by say June and that such and such in my upline has just received their CB cheque at the global rally and had been to lake tahoe too. That will be me in the next couple of years etc (which then puts the pressure on me to make sure it happens)

In the past 18 months, how many people have you spoken to about the opportunity and how many do you have in your direct downline (active and not active)
