My address was only posted because everybody thought it was a lie! People get so caught up in proving all of us to be liars that no one stopped to think maybe we don't all lie and we do actually earn what we say and that maybe although we show how lovely the house is that is not the same as publishing the address!! You guys found it because you were digging so deep convinced I was lying. So if someone on here puts a picture of their home it gives me a right to publish your address????

Like I said I'm not here to argue or be nasty to anyone but some of the guys on here absolutely make this about ripping people apart and to be honest I don't even think they care about MLM! It's personal and sometimes spiteful and really unnecessary. If you see posts that make medical claims or earnings claims then email them to head office, that's what I do! Help us! Because believe it or not we don't like it either!!

Eyes - try another tact

I agree with you Natasha re the posting address comment and posts which identify your children (although I've not seen any of these) that's not acceptable. However I don't respect you as "a hard working single mum who turned her life around". (Yes I know you've not posted here to ask for respect). I don't think being in an MLM is anything which warrants respect and admiration what so ever. There are other ways of turning things around. I was a single mum I studied and worked around my child, gained two degrees, used these qualifications to get a job (not that I would expect anyone to admire me for that either). My job doesn't harass or alienate my friends, there are lots of options for single parents; I feel MLMs are often pushed by those involved with them as the "solution" for vulnerable single and new mums. And as for the benefits comment I know that a couple of the people who have attempted to recruit me claim tax credits which I am unable to qualify as I earn too much in my j.o.b yet these are the people who are posting the financial freedom memes and mocking those with j.o.b's. Hmmm....

throwingpebbles · 23/02/2016 20:47

I am not a public Facebook figure with followers but even wouldn't post picture of my home etc etc on t'internet! Surely you get and give advice on that kind of thing in some of your ten squillion "training sessions in my pj's" thingumy jigs?

Melaw21 · 23/02/2016 20:48

chimps ever heard of the electoral roll? Hey, you should check it out! Could be a useful recruiting tool for you! You will absolutely not get in any trouble for cold calling people... No siree... You might find Barnbot there too! Eeek! 😱 Shocker! Public info? In the public domain?

shadowplay · 23/02/2016 20:49

The figures for fl tell us all we need to know. $2.6bn revenue and 9,000,000 distributors. We know that there are a few select bots doing ok out of the chairman's bonus and whatnot, let's be generous and say 50,000 worldwide. After Rexi baby has taken his massive cut, the rest are left with nowt, nada, and probably debt. That is 99.5% or as Eyes always says, effectively 100% of people that join these schemes make nothing.

Also, do you advise all nurses in your downline that they will be struck off if they make anything even slightly approaching medical claims about your aloe gloop???

VegoDoll · 23/02/2016 20:51

Natasha don't answer any more questions, they are not genuinely interested. And the rate they are asking them it's like full on attack. I have been gone a little while and I come back here and they are on and on and on at you. They did this with me, it was so draining and it got me down over the weekend I must admit. I'm a sensitive soul

They don't see you as a human, they see you as a con artist and you won't be able to say right from wrong. So don't bother.

I don't understand how they got your address, but that isn't on. Whoever did it on here needs to remove it ASAP! It's a shame really because I can tell you are a good person doing the best you can by your kids.

Eyespying · 23/02/2016 20:52

'My daughter actually found this blog.... Really upset her! She asked why I was so calm and I just pointed out none of what was said about me was anywhere near factual so not to worry. Then she pointed out our address! I had no words!'

NatashaBarnBotShingles is still trying to pose as the victim, yet she's habitually been committing fraud on behalf of wealthy US-based criminals. Even her scripted interventions on this forum (which are clearly designed to prevent investigation of 'FLP') form part of an overall pattern of ongoing major racketeering activity as defined by the US federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organisations Act, 1970. If there is ever a UK invetigation, this shill will be in the left firing line, but her wealthy masters who have been pulling the strings and gathering the lion's share of the profits, will abandon her.

natasha and working stop trying to treat us as one person to vilify us.
None of us would condone private, sensitive info being posted online.
However if you place a public profile on the internet that contains personal details, that's down to you. Don't try and point the finger at the whole internet. It's like posting your bank account numbers and passwords online then acting enraged when you see they have been emptied by a criminal.

Spikeypants02 · 23/02/2016 20:55

With all due respect Natasha, at the time the post linked to a rental property that wasn't your address (and as others have said you had the details public so anyone could google it). Rather like Coop's castle-search and it patently isn't coop's castle as it's up for sale on rightmove! [ducks back out of bun fight]

'Eyes - try another tact'

The arrogance of these 'MLM' shill Bots is quite laughable.

VegoDoll · 23/02/2016 20:57

eyespying a few of us can see through your controlling narrative on this thread that's all.

Isn't it "another tack" anyway, even if Eyes did want to take one which I doubt

sminkypink · 23/02/2016 20:59

Ok, I have delurked as I think this is important. Anyone reading this thread, who is concerned about internet privacy: Google your name.
Natasha your home address is VERY publicly available. Try Googling yourself, Google image search yourself.
Your address comes up as the third entry on Google.
It's easy to find photos of your kids, fifth entry on Google, link to Instagram.
It's that easy. Kids are a lot more net savvy than we are, so I'm not surprised your kid found this out.
I've been stalked by an ex boyfriend, (for 20 years, go me!) so I know all about online privacy. And I don't put my photo out there.
One of the bones of contention I have with mlm type attraction marketing is the way it can put single women (i.e. you and women like you) at risk by putting so much that should be private, online on public social media pages.
I don't think these companies care about women and their families.
Any hard work you do to earn money, YOU should be applauded for it. Not the company, not at all. But they make YOU hold all the risk, YOU pay all the expenses. For instanceI'm a self employed business owner myself but my clients pay my expenses).
But the encouragement to have no privacy on social media especially when you have kids, I don't like it, do not like it at all. I think it's unsafe. And if I were you, I'd be questioning it.
Go on Google, see whats there and see if you can change it, it's safer.

workingwithchimps · 23/02/2016 20:59

Cubic - at the end of the you know it was wrong - pieces of the jigsaw it may be - but to someone a road map is wrong - the only people to see her house etc would be her followers are friends - not people on Mumsnet - as you know - attributing it from maybe a couple thousand followers on FB to add the many anon people on MN put her at risk - you know that is wrong - people vilified somebody you knew little about or her children's circumstances

Eyespying · 23/02/2016 21:00

Clearly these 'MLM' shill bots are going to continue to pretend moral and intellectual authority, and do anything to avoid answering the most fundamental common-sense questions concerning their respective 'MLM' rackets. They all fail the Turing Test.

natasha you know full well Forever would collapse if it wasn't for all the ridiculous claims made about its products. No one is going to buy that aloe gel just because they like the taste. And I was gifted some of the shower gel (by a bot desperate to get up her CCs) and it was cheap and nasty.

Melaw21 · 23/02/2016 21:02

quinoa hunny... Its not 'bragging'its 'branding', its just showing how much you care about your #viestar downline that you want to share your story... You go girl... #bethebrand #youdeserveit #chimpswontbemyfwiend

Ps... It really would help though if you could come up with a before the bizniss back story... Perhaps with that xfactor music? #justsayin

bettyberry · 23/02/2016 21:03

Well, you put your address on the Internet by sharing a picture of the barn you were going to rent and the area you were looking at.

By posting a picture of your home anyone, not just mumsnetters, can figure out where you live and by watching your very open Facebook page can workout exactly what is in your home, where your home is and when you are out making it a prime target or any would be thief, stalker etc.

I am very VERY aware of social media because of my work.
It's amazing what you can do by searching a name or a photograph.

Reverse image searches are available to everyone and not illegal.

There is an awful lot more that can be collected from the average FB page that so many people are not aware of.

Kids in uniform we could work out their school and know that between 8:15-9:15 and 3pm- 4pm you are likely to be out.

Several pictures of you car and the locations you post from we can work out where you keep it and where you travel regularly.

Posting pictures of your coffee cup in a cafe, shopping bags from a spree, workout snaps- patterns of behaviour can be worked out.

By announcing every success/training day you are attending we know when you'll be out your home and how far away from it you'll be.

Granted this does sound very creepy and none of these things have been done by people on here but taking a look at the average FL bots page I can work out these things and I'm in no way a creep a stalker or what have you. I just know how people have and can use social media for malicious intent. Again it's part of my work. Something I studied in great depth in uni - because FB and Twitter back then were just gaining momentum - and continue to study now.

It's why very few images make it onto my own social media. It's why I don't enable locations to posts, tag myself in certain places and don't allow people to tag me in things either.

My own forever living lady posted an actual letter with her own home address onto her public facebook page and Instagram because she was excited by a nursery application. I have seen forever product pages on Facebook and in the about section the map pinpoints the business location. Usually someone's home address for all to see.

Flyers posted with mobile phone numbers. You do know mobile numbers can be goggled?

If you pay for a domain I can search for the info of that domain legally and for free to discover the address it is registered to.

when a big chunk of your business is via social media you have to learn how to use it safely but so many make such stupid mistakes.

You cannot blame someone for being able to find the information you have left open to see.

Should it be posted here? No. But then again I don't remember anyone posting your name and actual address for all to see.

Sorry for the long long post but it had to be said!
